In Chrome for Android, open the page, tap More (⋮) > Share > Print, select Save as PDF, choose a storage location, and confirm the PDF action. You do not need a physical printer. Firefox and Samsung Galaxy devices offer similar software-only routes, although labels and available options vary by browser version, Android release, device model, and app.
Choose the method that matches your Android setup
Use the browser you already have open unless its print or PDF command is missing. The three documented routes create a file on the device rather than sending anything to a printer.

The wording can differ slightly on your phone. Look for the same functions—Share, Print, Save as PDF, Download, or a printer selector—rather than relying on an exact visual layout.
Save a webpage as a PDF in Chrome for Android
- Open the page. Start Chrome, navigate to the website, and wait until the content you need is visible. If the page is very long, scroll through it once so important sections and images have a chance to load.
- Open Chrome’s More menu. Tap the three vertical dots (⋮), usually in the upper-right corner.
- Choose Share. In the Android share panel, tap Share if it is not already selected.
- Open Print. Select Print from the available share actions. If Print is not immediately visible, swipe through the share actions or open the panel’s additional options.
- Select Save as PDF. The print screen may initially show a physical printer. Tap the printer selector and choose Save as PDF instead. A printer is not required for this choice.
- Adjust print settings if needed. Tap the down-arrow control to expose settings offered by your Android and Chrome versions. Paper size, orientation, color, and page range may be available; the exact controls depend on the device and software.
- Preview and save. Check the preview for clipped columns, missing images, or unwanted blank pages. Tap the PDF/print action, select a folder or destination on the device, name the file if prompted, and confirm with Save or Print.
Chrome’s route is the best default when you are already browsing in Chrome because it uses Android’s built-in print service and lets you choose the destination. The resulting document is a fixed copy of the page at the time you saved it, not a live version that will update when the website changes.

Save a webpage as a PDF in Firefox for Android
- Open the desired page in Firefox.
- Tap Firefox’s three-dot menu.
- Tap Share.
- Choose Save as PDF.
- Tap Download to complete the save.
Mozilla states that this workflow places the completed PDF in the Downloads folder. You can open Firefox’s Downloads list to find it, or use Android’s file manager and open the Downloads folder. If your version presents a system save dialog instead, follow the location shown on screen; browser builds and device interfaces can vary.
Save a webpage as a PDF on a Samsung Galaxy phone or tablet
- Open the website in a supported app, such as a browser.
- Tap Share.
- Choose Print. You may need to swipe across the share targets to find it.
- In the printer selector, choose Save as PDF.
- Review available options such as paper size, color, and orientation, then tap the PDF save action.
- Select a storage location and confirm.
Samsung’s general Galaxy instructions apply only to apps that expose printing. If the app’s Share menu has no Print command, use Chrome or Firefox’s documented PDF path instead. Availability of individual settings depends on the Galaxy model, Android version, and installed print service.
Control the result before you save
Check the preview
A preview is useful for catching a page that has been cut off at the right edge, a heading stranded at the bottom of a page, or an image that has not loaded. For a long article, move through several preview pages rather than checking only the first page.
Choose orientation and paper size
Portrait works for most articles. Landscape can reduce wrapping for wide tables or dashboards. Changing paper size can alter page breaks, so review the preview again after changing it.

Use a page range when offered
If you need only a section of a long page, use the print dialog’s page-range control when your device exposes one. Not every Android print screen provides this option.
Remember what PDF cannot preserve
The saved file is a document snapshot. Interactive controls, animations, live comments, and content that appears only after a later script action may not behave as they do on the website. The official instructions describe how to save the document; they do not promise perfect reproduction of every dynamic feature. Open the finished PDF and verify the specific information you need.
Find, open, and share the saved PDF
When you used Chrome or Samsung
The save dialog determines the destination. If you selected a folder, open Android’s file manager and browse to that folder. If you accepted a default location, search the file manager for the filename or filter by PDF documents. The exact file-manager name and layout vary by manufacturer.
When you used Firefox
Open Firefox’s menu and its Downloads list to see the saved document. Mozilla identifies the Downloads folder as the destination for its Save as PDF flow, so the same file should also be visible there in the system file manager.

Sharing the file
Open the PDF in your file manager or PDF viewer, tap the viewer’s Share control, and select the messaging, email, cloud-storage, or nearby-sharing app you want. Sharing sends the saved file; it does not create a second live copy of the website.
Troubleshoot common problems
Print is missing
Some apps do not support Android printing, a limitation Samsung explicitly notes. Try the browser’s Share menu, switch to Chrome or Firefox, or open the page in a browser that documents a PDF workflow. Also check whether you are looking at the expanded share panel rather than the first row of actions.
The dialog shows only physical printers
Open the printer selector and look for Save as PDF. It is a virtual destination, not a printer you must own. If it is absent, the device’s print service or the current app may not expose PDF output; use another browser’s documented route.
The PDF is hard to locate
Return to the location chosen in the save dialog. For Firefox, check Downloads and Firefox’s Downloads list. Searching the file manager for the filename or for PDF files is faster than browsing every folder.

Images or sections are missing
Return to the webpage, wait for visible content to finish loading, and save again. For pages that load content only after scrolling or interaction, scroll through the relevant sections first. Compare the preview with the final file; a dynamic page may not expose every element to the print renderer.
The layout is clipped or creates many blank pages
Try portrait versus landscape, a different paper size, or a narrower page range. Use the preview after each change. Wide tables and app-specific layouts may not fit cleanly on a standard page.
The save action fails
Confirm that the device has available storage and that the selected folder is writable. Choose another local folder and try again. If the browser or print screen is unresponsive, close the dialog, reload the page, and repeat the share-to-print sequence.

- Internet is needed to load the page, not to read the finished file. Once saved, the PDF can be opened offline as an ordinary document.
- Saving locally avoids a printer purchase. The documented Chrome, Firefox, and Galaxy workflows create a file through software.
- Preview is the quality check. Official help pages explain the save mechanisms, not a guarantee that every interactive or script-generated element will be reproduced.
- Repeat the capture after important updates. A PDF records the page as it appeared when saved; later website changes are not applied to that file.
- Keep sensitive pages in mind. A PDF is a separate, shareable copy. Store it in a location appropriate for the page’s contents before sending it elsewhere.

Which route should you use?
Choose Chrome’s More > Share > Print > Save as PDF path if you are already in Chrome and want a local file with a selectable destination. Choose Firefox when its direct Save as PDF command is more convenient or when you want the documented Downloads destination. Use Samsung’s Share > Print route when the Galaxy app exposes printing. If any route lacks Print or produces an incomplete preview, switch browsers, adjust print settings, and verify the saved file before sharing it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I save a page that requires a login?
Only the content that is available in the currently signed-in browser session can be included. If the page redirects to a sign-in screen or blocks printing, save the accessible page after completing authentication or use another permitted workflow.
Does saving a PDF remove the original webpage from the internet?
No. Saving creates a separate local document; the website remains online and can change independently.
Can I make one PDF from several webpages with these Android menus?
The documented browser and Galaxy commands save the current page as a PDF. Combining separate files requires a separate PDF-editing workflow, which is not part of these built-in steps.
