Start with the event running on your server, then decide which Servants help you clear the specific farming quests you plan to run. An event bonus is useful, but it does not automatically make every eligible Servant the best choice for every node or account. Weigh the bonus type and amount, the Servant’s role in your team, the upgrades needed, and whether the investment will still help after the event.
Check the live event before choosing a Servant
Open the current event’s bonus details and confirm which Servants are eligible and what each one receives. Bonuses can differ in both type and size: an attack-power bonus can help with clearing a quest, while a bond-point bonus rewards using a Servant but does not itself improve damage. Do not assume every eligible Servant receives the same effect, or that eligibility guarantees a place in your farming team.

Where available, use the event-bonus filter in the Servant selection or strengthening screens to find eligible Servants. Treat the filter as a way to identify candidates, then inspect the event details to see the actual bonus. An event may include bonus Servants who do not appear in its main story.

Fate/Grand Order Project’s Japanese official notice dated September 9, 2026, for “くたばれ！ パンプキンファーム･スローター” lists eligible Servants for event-quest attack-power and bond-point bonuses and says bonus amounts vary by Servant. The notice also says a filter was added to Servant selection and strengthening screens, and that some bonus Servants may not appear in the main scenario. Participation requires clearing “After Time: The Beginning.” Read the official event notice.

This is an example for the Japanese server, not a permanent bonus list for all players. The notice says the site targets Japan, so players on other servers should check their own client and current event notice for eligibility, rules, and timing.
Match candidates to the farming quests you actually plan to run
Choose the event nodes you expect to farm, then consider what each Servant would do in those quests. A useful candidate should fit the enemies and waves in the node and work with the supports and Craft Essences you can field. A bonus Servant who cannot contribute to your planned clears may be a lower priority than a non-bonus Servant who fills a necessary role.

Official sources establish how bonuses and strengthening work, but they do not provide universal damage thresholds or a ranking that applies across accounts and nodes. Compare your actual roster and setup rather than relying on a timeless tier list.

Prioritize upgrades that change what you can do
Leveling improves a Servant’s ATK and HP; ascension unlocks a higher level cap once its material requirements are met. Skill levels are a separate investment. They are especially worth considering when an effect becomes stronger or a cooldown change lets your intended farming setup work. Raising levels alone does not grant event eligibility or guarantee a successful or fast clear. The official Servant Strengthening guide describes these strengthening systems.

Before committing resources, identify the specific upgrade that would help: reaching a level or ascension you can complete, improving a relevant skill, or making an existing team setup viable. If the upgrade does not address a need in the planned quest, consider saving the resources for a candidate with a clearer role.
Plan around available experience cards and materials
The official starter guide identifies daily Chaldea Gate quests and Friend Point summons as sources of experience cards. Strengthening and shop exchanges are also part of the game’s menu systems. Check your available cards, materials, and event shop options against the Servant’s actual requirements before deciding what can be ready for the event. A practical order for making the decision
- Open your server’s current event details. Check the eligible Servants, bonus types and amounts, event requirements, and farming quests.
- Choose the nodes you intend to farm. Consider their enemies and waves, and the team you can actually field.
- Compare bonus Servants with your other options. Ask whether each candidate contributes to the clear, whether your supports and Craft Essences complete the setup, and whether the event bonus changes your choice.
- Identify the upgrade that matters. Decide whether levels, ascension, or a particular skill would address the setup’s needs.
- Check readiness and longer-term value. Confirm that you can obtain the necessary XP and materials in time, then weigh the Servant’s usefulness after the event.
The result may be to level an event bonus Servant, strengthen a different Servant for the node, or make no event-specific upgrade. The right choice depends on the live event and the account you have, not eligibility alone.
