House Events are not unrestricted public event pages: Clubhouse says House rooms are visible only to House members, and nonmembers cannot RSVP to or enter them. See the current House Rooms guidance for the documented workflow.

Before you create the event
- Install the Clubhouse mobile app and sign in.
- Join the House where the conversation will take place, or create one. To create a House, open your profile, choose All Houses, tap + New House, name it and select Create My House. Clubhouse’s help page says an account can create up to five Houses per week: Creating Houses.
- Have access to the House and the permissions needed for event management. Clubhouse specifically documents House admins as able to edit and remove events; the help pages do not publish a complete role-by-role creation matrix.
- Prepare a clear title, date, start time, topic or description, any cohosts, and your replay decision.
- Decide how you will share the invitation and ensure intended attendees can join the House.
How to create a scheduled House Event
- Open Clubhouse and enter the House that will host the discussion.
- Open the House settings.
- Tap Create event.
- Enter the event name or title, date, start time and discussion details. Add cohosts if that field is available in your version of the app.
- Turn Replays on or off. If enabled, tell speakers that the conversation may be recorded.
- Tap Create and Share.
- Share through another app, copy the unique event link, or invite contacts directly.
These are the labels in Clubhouse’s current documented flow. Mobile layouts and wording can vary by app version.
Scheduled event, live room or Events tab?

How RSVPs and attendance work
House members can open the event on the House wall, tap RSVP and choose an attendance status. After marking that they will attend or are interested, they can invite other people to the conversation. Upcoming events for Houses they belong to also appear in the Events tab, where members can RSVP and add events to their calendar.

Members can change an RSVP by finding the event in the Events tab and selecting a different response.
Can people outside your House attend?
Do not assume that an invitation link makes a House Event public. Clubhouse’s official House Rooms documentation says House rooms are visible only to House members and that only members can enter rooms created by the House. A nonmember with the link may therefore be unable to RSVP or join. Add intended guests to the House before relying on the invitation.
How to edit an event
- Open the scheduled event.
- Tap the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner.
- Choose Edit event.
- Change the event information.
- Tap Save changes.
Clubhouse says attendees receive notifications when the event date or time changes.

- Open the scheduled event.
- Tap the three-dot menu.
- Select Remove event.
- Confirm if Clubhouse asks you to.
After removal, a link sent to an existing Clubhouse user returns that person to the House. Someone who does not yet have Clubhouse is directed toward downloading the app rather than entering the canceled event.

Replays: enable them before the room starts
Choose the replay setting while creating the event or room. Replays are recordings, so disclose that possibility to speakers and participants. Clubhouse’s House Rooms article says a replay created in a House can be downloaded only by the person who created the room; it does not promise downloads for every attendee. If you leave Replays off, do not assume a recording can be recovered after the conversation ends.
Limits and planning decisions
Five scheduled events at once
Clubhouse documents a maximum of five scheduled House Events at one time. If you reach the limit, review existing events and remove or let one pass before trying to schedule another; the exact post-event availability behavior is not specified in the help article.
Write a title people can act on
Combine the subject and format. “Live Q&A: Building an Audience as an Independent Creator” is more useful than “Community Chat.” In the description, state who should attend, whether it is an interview, workshop, Q&A or open discussion, whether attendees can come on stage, the approximate duration, replay status and any preparation.

Confirm the date, time and your intended audience’s time zones before distributing the link. Clubhouse’s documentation confirms that dates and times can be edited and that attendees are notified, but it does not specify all time-zone conversion behavior.

Promote in a short sequence
- Share immediately after creation.
- Remind interested members the day before.
- Send a final reminder shortly before the start.
- Repeat any speaker or topic change through the same channels.
Recurring conversations
The reviewed official help pages document the five-event limit but do not document a recurring-event control. Do not promise native recurrence. Create separate events where the app permits it, subject to the limit, and use an external calendar for recurring reminders if needed.
Troubleshooting
“Create event” is missing
- Open the intended House directly rather than the Events tab.
- Check that you are a member and have appropriate House permissions.
- Confirm you are in the correct House and update Clubhouse if an update is available.
- If the control remains unavailable, start a live room only if an immediate conversation meets your goal; it does not create a scheduled event.
Clubhouse identifies House admins for editing and canceling, but its help page does not fully list every role that can create an event.
A guest cannot join
Check House membership first. House-room access is restricted to members, regardless of whether someone has the invitation link.

The event is not visible
The viewer may not belong to the hosting House, the event may have been removed, or the invitation may not have been shared. The Events tab is not a universal public directory of House Events.

The date or time is wrong
Edit the event through the three-dot menu and notify attendees through your normal channels as well. Verify the displayed time on your device before sending reminders.
You forgot to enable Replays
Replay selection is documented as a creation-time setting. Do not promise that a recording can always be produced after the room has ended.

Can I create a Clubhouse event without a House?
The current documented scheduled-event workflow is a House Event created from House settings, so you need the relevant House and suitable permissions. An immediate live room is a separate option.
Can I add a Clubhouse event to my calendar?
House members can find upcoming events in the Events tab, RSVP and add them to a calendar.

Will attendees know if I change the event time?
Clubhouse says attendees receive notifications when the event date or time changes.
Can anyone with the invitation link attend?
No. Clubhouse states that only members of the hosting House can enter its rooms, so a link does not by itself override membership restrictions.
How many House Events can be scheduled at once?
Clubhouse documents a maximum of five scheduled House Events at one time.
The Bottom Line
For a future Clubhouse conversation, create a House Event from House settings, enable Replays before starting if you need a recording, and share the invitation only after checking House membership and the event time. Use a live room instead when the discussion should begin immediately.
