To run Bengali Christian worship videos continuously on YouTube, clear the rights for every song and recording, loop a local video or playlist in OBS, and send the encoder feed to YouTube’s Live Control Room. You’ll need a verified channel with live streaming available, a stable powered-on computer and internet connection, and a plan to monitor and restart the stream if it drops. YouTube does not guarantee an uninterrupted 24/7 broadcast.
Before you stream: clear rights for every part of the video
A worship video can involve separate rights in the song’s composition and lyrics, the performance, the sound recording, and the audiovisual recording. Permission to use one part does not automatically clear the others. Before adding a video, confirm that the relevant rights holders have authorized the specific livestream, channel, territories, and any replay or archive you intend to make available.

A video being public or embeddable on YouTube does not grant permission to rebroadcast it. The United Methodist Church’s copyright guidance is useful as a rights-check model, but its licensing examples are specific to the organization and covered uses; they are not a universal license for Bengali worship songs or recordings.

YouTube states: “All live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content, including copyrighted content in the form of another live broadcast.” A match may lead to a warning, a replacement placeholder, interruption, or termination. Even if you have a license, the rights owner may need to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist. YouTube can also apply Content ID claims to an archived stream after it ends. - List each song, translation, performance, recording, and video in your program.
- Keep written permissions and license terms together, and check their scope for livestreaming, territory, and replay.
- Ask each licensing rights holder whether your channel must be allowlisted in Content ID.
Confirm that your YouTube channel can go live
YouTube Help currently says a channel must be verified and must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the preceding 90 days. It also says a person must be at least 16 to livestream. For a first music livestream, YouTube for Artists recommends verifying at least 24 hours beforehand. Requirements and controls can change, so check YouTube’s current livestreaming requirements and YouTube for Artists’ livestream guidance before your launch.
Choose between repeating one video and looping a playlist
Use one repeated file if you want the same video to restart immediately after it finishes. Use a playlist if you want several cleared videos to play in a deliberate order before the list starts again. OBS provides a loop option for a single Media Source and a separate Loop Playlist option for a VLC Video source; shuffle is a separate playlist setting. The controls are described in OBS’s Media Sources guide.

Build the continuous program in OBS
- Create a scene: In OBS, add a scene for this broadcast. Scenes and sources are the building blocks for arranging media and other visual elements; see the OBS Sources Guide.
- For one repeating video: Add a Media Source, select the local video file, and enable Loop in its properties.
- For a playlist: Add a VLC Video source, add the cleared files in the order you want them played, and leave Loop Playlist enabled if the list should restart at its end. Install VLC if OBS does not offer the VLC Video source.
- Check the program before going live: Preview the transitions at the end of each item, listen for audible and balanced audio, and confirm that artwork or captions are visible. These are practical checks; your results depend on your files and setup.
Do not buy a capture card, camera, microphone, or dedicated hardware encoder just to loop prerecorded files: the cited OBS and YouTube workflows do not establish any of those as necessary. A computer running OBS is still needed for this do-it-yourself approach.

- Open YouTube Studio and create or schedule a live broadcast. Use the Live Control Room’s encoder workflow described in YouTube Help.
- Copy the stream key into OBS’s YouTube streaming setup. Treat the key like a password: do not share it or show it in a public recording. If it is exposed, replace it in YouTube Studio and update OBS.
- Start streaming from OBS and check the incoming feed and event status in the Live Control Room before relying on the public viewing page.
YouTube’s API distinguishes the incoming liveStream feed from the viewer-facing liveBroadcast event. Creators using Studio do not need to write API code; the distinction is explained in Google’s Live Streaming API overview.

YouTube Help currently documents a maximum of 10 active streams per channel and 3 active streams per stream key (page accessed in 2026). These are concurrency limits, not uptime guarantees.
Monitor the broadcast and plan for recovery
A looped file does not make the whole broadcast self-maintaining. Power loss, an internet outage, an OBS failure, or a YouTube interruption can stop the incoming feed. Monitor the Live Control Room and, where possible, check the public stream from a separate viewer session. Assign someone to respond to warnings, dropped connections, or audio problems, and keep a restart procedure available. If you enable an archive, account for the possibility of a Content ID claim after the live stream ends.

For long-form worship intended for TVs and computers, a horizontal presentation may fit the viewing context; a vertical presentation may suit mobile discovery. YouTube describes different feature and discovery behavior by format, so check the current Live Control Room options before choosing a layout or relying on a particular feature.
