You can keep Marathi devotional recordings live on YouTube by looping an authorized playlist through an encoder connected to a YouTube Live event. First clear the rights, enable livestreaming on your channel, then choose whether a computer, dedicated hardware, or cloud service will play and send the videos. A continuous stream still needs monitoring, and neither a 24/7 schedule nor a license guarantees uninterrupted playback, archiving, or monetization.
1. Confirm you have the rights to stream the recordings
Before assembling a playlist, confirm that you have permission to livestream each recording and, if you plan to keep a replay, to retain that archive. Rights may apply separately to the sound recording, musical composition, performance, lyrics, and any images or video shown with the music. Marathi devotional or traditional subject matter does not automatically make a recording free to use.

YouTube says all live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content. If a match is detected, YouTube may replace the stream with a placeholder; continued detection can interrupt or terminate the broadcast. Even if you have a license, the rights holder may need to allowlist your channel through Content ID to help prevent an interruption. Confirm that arrangement with the relevant rights holder before going live.
2. Make sure your channel can livestream
YouTube requires a verified channel with no livestream restrictions in the preceding 90 days. First-time activation can take up to 24 hours, so do not leave channel setup until the planned broadcast time. Check the current requirements in YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guide.

- Sign in to the YouTube channel that will host the broadcast and complete channel verification if needed.
- Check for active livestream restrictions and resolve them before scheduling.
- If you have never livestreamed from the channel, enable livestreaming and allow up to 24 hours for activation.
3. Create or schedule the YouTube Live event
- In YouTube Studio, select Create → Go Live.
- Create a new stream or schedule one for a specific time. A scheduled event can be promoted, and viewers can set reminders.
- In Live Control Room, locate the event’s server URL and stream key. You will enter both in the encoder or playout service.
The stream key is a credential: keep it private, and do not share it in screenshots, public documents, or messages. If you believe it has been exposed, replace or reset it in YouTube Studio before continuing.
4. Choose how the recordings will play continuously
The basic setup is a playlist or playout source feeding an encoder, which sends the live video and audio to YouTube. The right route depends on what equipment you already have and who can respond if playback stops.

For a beginner who already owns a suitable computer and can monitor it, a software encoder may be a low-equipment way to start. It is not free to operate: electricity, network access, and the time needed to watch for failures are part of the setup.

5. Connect the encoder, test, and start the event
- Open the encoder or playout service and select its YouTube Live or custom RTMP connection option.
- Enter the server URL and stream key shown for your event in Live Control Room. Keep the key out of public view.
- Load the playlist of recordings you have permission to stream. Set its playback behavior to repeat or loop if you want continuous playback.
- Start sending the feed, then check the Live Control Room preview. Confirm both picture and sound before starting the public event; depending on the selected workflow, you may need to start the event in Live Control Room after the encoder connects.
- Test before the scheduled broadcast. Confirm that the event is accessible from the channel or watch page and on a phone, and monitor audio and video quality after it begins.
- If you are recording a local copy, check that the archive file is actually growing. Keep a known restart procedure, a responsible person to check the output, and authorized source-file backups.
There is no single resolution, frame rate, bitrate, or codec setting that can be established for every Marathi devotional playlist from the information here. Choose settings compatible with the source files, encoder, and sustained upload connection, and follow YouTube’s current encoder specifications rather than guessing a bitrate. Test for the full range of audio and video in the playlist, not just the first clip.

6. Decide how viewers will access a replay
YouTube’s encoder setup guidance says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Do not assume that a single stream left running longer than that will be archived. If the replay matters, consider programming bounded events and verify the archive behavior in YouTube Studio instead of relying on one indefinitely open broadcast.
7. Understand watch-hour and monetization limits
YouTube’s guidance published August 12, 2026 says public archived livestreams can contribute qualified watch hours, while livestreams that are not archived do not count as qualified watch hours. This is a qualification rule, not a promise that a channel will be accepted into the YouTube Partner Program or earn money. Eligibility and monetization features depend on the channel meeting YouTube’s requirements and the creator enabling the relevant features; stream duration alone does not establish qualification or earnings. Troubleshooting common failures
