You can keep a Telugu film-news broadcast live around the clock with an encoder such as OBS or a cloud streaming service, but neither one gives you permission to rebroadcast trailers. Build the feed around original Telugu reporting and commentary, get written rights for every third-party asset you use, and arrange Content ID allowlisting with the relevant rights holder before going live.
What you need before starting
- A verified YouTube channel with livestreaming enabled. YouTube says the channel must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days, and creators must be at least 16 to livestream. Enable access and confirm you can go live before announcing a launch.
- A continuous video source: an encoder running on a computer or a cloud service that sends your uploaded videos or playlist to YouTube.
- Original Telugu-language reporting, context, criticism, or commentary that gives the programme a distinct editorial purpose.
- Written permission for each third-party trailer, clip, still, poster, music cue, or other audiovisual element, covering the planned livestream and any replay archive.
A working stream is a technical achievement, not a rights clearance. YouTube scans live broadcasts for third-party matches and may interrupt or terminate a stream that triggers a match.

How to create the 24/7 broadcast
1. Confirm livestream access in YouTube
Verify the channel and enable live streaming in YouTube Studio before you need it; new access may not be immediate. Check that the channel meets YouTube’s current eligibility requirements, including the age and restriction rules above. Use YouTube’s Live Control Room to prepare the broadcast and choose an encoder workflow.
2. Choose how the feed will stay online

YouTube’s API documentation describes a 24/7 feed as an ongoing broadcast and explains that a broadcast is a distinct YouTube video bound to a stream. For an editorial channel, give the programme a clear identity rather than presenting an unexplained loop: use an accurate title and description, scheduled segments, original host narration, and updates that add reporting or context.
3. Build the editorial programme
Plan a format that viewers can recognize and that makes your contribution clear. For example, alternate Telugu film-news updates and release information with interviews, trailer discussion, criticism, and properly licensed clips. Attribute sources and distinguish reporting from opinion. Avoid simply replaying full trailers or reading headlines from other outlets; a mechanically repeated playlist does little to demonstrate original value.
4. Test privately before launch
Use a private or otherwise controlled test where appropriate. Check the audio and video, overlays, stream key, playlist transitions, and recovery behavior. Keep the stream key confidential, and do not put unlicensed material into a test feed: a test broadcast can still create copyright and access problems.

5. Decide whether to keep an archive
Choose deliberately whether YouTube should retain a replay. YouTube says a Content ID claim can be made after a livestream ends if the creator archives it. Confirm that each rights permission covers both live transmission and the replay or archive, if you plan to keep one.
Can you stream Telugu movie trailers?
Only when you have the necessary permission for the specific material and use. A trailer being publicly available on another YouTube channel, a press release, or your possession of a copy does not establish a right to rebroadcast it. Rights may be split among a producer, distributor, music owner, or other party, so verify who can authorize the use for each title.
Get written permission that spells out the planned YouTube livestream, territories, duration and repeat use, monetization if intended, and any archive. YouTube Help says all live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content, including another live broadcast. It also warns that a stream can be interrupted even when the creator has licensed the material if the channel is not on the rights holder’s Content ID allowlist. Ask the relevant rights holder to add your channel to that allowlist before including licensed material.
No general clearance list establishes which Telugu film trailers a particular creator may use. Treat each trailer, music cue, still, and poster as a separate rights question rather than assuming permission for one asset covers the rest.

Copyright permission and monetization are separate
Permission to use third-party footage does not guarantee that a channel will qualify for YouTube monetization. YouTube’s reused-content policy is a separate review and says it applies even if you have permission from the original creator. It identifies content consisting exclusively of readings of material the creator did not make, such as website text or news feeds, as a disallowed example. Critical reviews, reactions with commentary, and edited footage with added storyline or commentary are examples that may be allowed under that policy, but copyright rules still apply.
Make original Telugu reporting and analysis the substance of the programme, not a thin wrapper around a trailer playlist or other outlets’ headlines. That can make your editorial contribution clearer, but it is not a guarantee of monetization approval and does not replace licenses.
YouTube lists ads, Super Chat and Super Stickers, and channel memberships as possible live-stream revenue features for eligible channels. Feature access depends on YouTube’s current rules, and ads are not guaranteed to appear in every slot. Treat earnings as uncertain, especially when much of a channel’s material comes from third-party film assets.

A microphone can be useful for host narration or voiceover; YouTube’s encoder guidance lists microphones among equipment used in encoder streams.
