How to Create a 24/7 Tamil A. R. Rahman Songs YouTube Live Stream

You can run a 24/7 YouTube stream of Tamil A. R. Rahman songs with an encoder, but first you must secure the rights to every recording and arrange Content ID allowlisting with the relevant rights holders. YouTube scans live streams for third-party content and can interrupt or terminate a broadcast when it detects a match. Once the rights are cleared, enable live streaming on an eligible channel, configure an encoder with YouTube’s stream key, and keep the stream source operating continuously—or use a cloud service to do that part.

Before anything else, clear the music rights

A. R. Rahman’s name does not identify a single recording or rights holder. Different songs, versions, performances, and recordings can involve different owners. The title alone does not establish that any particular track is cleared for a continuous YouTube broadcast, in any territory or for any duration.

Confirm permissions for every recording

  1. Make a track list that identifies each exact recording and version you plan to play. Do not assume permission for one version covers another.
  2. Contact the relevant label, distributor, or other rights holders. YouTube for Artists recommends coordinating with a label or distributor when using copyright-protected music during a live stream: Going live for music channels.
  3. Confirm in writing that the granted rights cover YouTube live streaming, the intended territories, and the planned duration. A right to use a recording elsewhere—or to upload a video—does not by itself establish permission for this use.
  4. Ask each applicable content owner to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist. YouTube says licensed third-party content may still interrupt a live stream if the channel is not allowlisted: Copyright issues with live streams.

An encoder, a computer, or a hosted streaming service does not provide music rights. Do not start the broadcast until the permissions and allowlisting are in place.

Check that your channel can go live

YouTube’s live-streaming guidance says the channel must be verified and must not have had a live-streaming restriction during the preceding 90 days. YouTube for Artists recommends verifying the account at least 24 hours before the planned stream, so do not leave channel setup until launch day. YouTube lists mobile, webcam, encoder, and console as live-streaming methods; an encoder is the relevant choice when you need more presentation control or a continuous pre-recorded music program. See Get started with live streaming.

Run the stream yourself with an encoder

YouTube supports encoder streaming for productions such as concerts, and YouTube for Artists says an encoder offers more customization and control than mobile or webcam streaming. The official guidance cited here does not prescribe a particular encoder, computer, hardware model, or set of bitrate and resolution values for a 24/7 music stream. Use an encoder compatible with YouTube and follow its current setup instructions; do not treat any particular equipment or numeric setting as a YouTube requirement based on these sources.

  1. Enable live streaming in advance. Verify your YouTube channel and confirm it has no live-streaming restriction from the preceding 90 days. Allow at least 24 hours after account verification before the planned event, as recommended by YouTube for Artists.
  2. Create the live stream in YouTube Studio. Open YouTube Studio, choose the option to go live, and select the encoder workflow. Set the stream title and other broadcast details for the channel. YouTube’s encoder method provides the stream information the encoder needs.
  3. Copy the stream key into the encoder. In YouTube Studio’s live control room, use the stream setup information for the broadcast and enter the stream key in your encoder’s YouTube destination settings. Treat the key like a password: do not publish it or share it with people who should not be able to broadcast to your channel. If it is exposed, replace or reset it in Studio and update the encoder.
  4. Load only cleared recordings. Add the licensed tracks or recordings to the encoder’s playback source or playlist. Check that the planned sequence can repeat without ending the broadcast or leaving unintended gaps. Keep a copy of the approved track list and permissions available to the channel team.
  5. Start the encoder and confirm the preview. Start the encoder’s output, then check YouTube Studio to make sure it receives the stream and displays the expected picture and sound before you make the stream public or announce it. The encoder and Studio labels can vary; use the current instructions for your chosen encoder.
  6. Keep the entire source running. A 24/7 broadcast needs the encoder and its media source to continue operating. A DIY setup therefore depends on the computer or hardware running the encoder, its power, its network connection, and the playback source remaining available. The cited YouTube guidance does not prescribe a specific uptime design or hardware configuration.

Resolution, bitrate, and keyframes

Choose encoder settings supported by both your source files and your encoder, and consult YouTube’s current encoder guidance for the technical values applicable to your stream. The cited guidance for this topic does not establish a required resolution, bitrate, frame rate, or keyframe interval for a 24/7 Tamil music broadcast, so there is no evidence-based one-size-fits-all number to give here. Avoid selecting a higher output quality than your source can provide simply because the encoder offers it.

Expect live copyright checks and know what to do

YouTube says all live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content. If it detects content, YouTube may replace the stream with a placeholder and warn you to stop using that material; if the content remains, the broadcast may be interrupted or terminated. YouTube also advises checking YouTube Studio for strikes if a stream stops. A rights agreement that has not been reflected in the relevant owner’s Content ID allowlist may not prevent interruption.

  • If Studio warns about a match: follow the warning and stop the flagged material. Do not assume that restarting the same track will resolve the issue.
  • If the stream is interrupted or terminated: inspect YouTube Studio for the stream status and any strikes or other notices. Resolve the rights or allowlisting issue with the relevant owner before trying again.
  • If you change the playlist: clear the rights for the replacement recording too, and confirm the applicable allowlisting before adding it to the live rotation.

Decide whether to archive the broadcast

Archiving is a separate decision from sending the live stream. YouTube says Content ID claims on archived live streams are made after the stream ends if you choose to archive it. An archive may therefore be subject to claims even if the live broadcast ran to completion. Decide whether retaining a replay serves your channel, and make sure your permissions cover that use rather than assuming live-stream permission also covers an archived video.

When a 24/7 stream stops: troubleshooting

What you see Likely issue What to do
You cannot enable live streaming The channel may not be verified, or may have had a live-streaming restriction in the preceding 90 days. Check the channel’s live-streaming eligibility in YouTube Studio and resolve any restriction. If you have just verified the account, allow the 24-hour advance period recommended by YouTube for Artists.
YouTube warns about third-party content or replaces the stream with a placeholder A live Content ID match may have been detected; the channel may not be allowlisted for that recording. Stop the material identified by YouTube, check the Studio notice, and contact the rights holder about permission and channel allowlisting before resuming.
The broadcast is interrupted or terminated YouTube may have continued enforcement after a detected match, or the encoder/source may no longer be sending the stream. Check Studio for strikes and stream status. If there is a copyright notice, resolve it with the rights holder; otherwise inspect the encoder and the computer, connection, and playback source.
The live broadcast worked, but the archive has a claim YouTube says Content ID claims on an archived live stream are made after the stream ends when the creator chooses to archive it. Review the claim and the applicable rights for the archived use. Do not infer that a completed live stream guarantees an unrestricted replay.
