Once the Bantam blueprint is learned, craft the revolver at the Workshop’s Gunsmith 1 station. Each Bantam costs 4 Simple Gun Parts and 4 Mechanical Components. The blueprint unlocks the recipe; it is not an additional ingredient.

Before you open the Gunsmith
Make sure the blueprint is learned
Finding a blueprint and learning it are separate actions. If the Bantam blueprint is still an item in your inventory, the recipe may remain unavailable. A found blueprint must be successfully extracted first. After you return to Speranza, select the blueprint in your inventory and choose the action that learns or consumes it. The blueprint is consumed in that step, and the Bantam recipe is added to your crafting options.
Check that you actually extracted with it
Picking up a blueprint during a run does not permanently unlock it by itself. If you lost the item before extraction, it will not be available to learn in Speranza. Re-entering the Workshop with the blueprint still in your inventory is the useful checkpoint: if the item can be selected and consumed there, extraction was successful.

Reserve the required materials
For one revolver, count out four Simple Gun Parts and four Mechanical Components. The game checks the quantities when you confirm the craft. If you are planning several Bantams, multiply each requirement by the number of weapons rather than assuming the station will craft from a partial set.
Step-by-step: craft the Bantam after unlocking it
- Return to Speranza after an extraction. Do this if the blueprint was found during a raid; do not try to learn it while it is still an unextracted pickup.
- Open your inventory. Locate the Bantam blueprint and select it.
- Choose the learn or consume action. Confirm the prompt. The blueprint item is used up and the recipe becomes learned.
- Open the Workshop. Enter the Gunsmith station rather than another Workshop category.
- Select Gunsmith 1. The Bantam is a Tier 1 Gunsmith recipe in the current references.
- Highlight the Bantam. Verify that the displayed cost is four Simple Gun Parts and four Mechanical Components.
- Confirm the craft. The station consumes those materials and produces one Bantam.
- Check the result. Confirm the revolver appears in the expected inventory or equipment area before leaving the Workshop.
If the Bantam is not listed after step three, do not spend materials on another station or upgrade. First verify that the blueprint was consumed successfully, then leave and reopen the Gunsmith interface so the learned recipe can refresh.
Why the blueprint is not a crafting material
The blueprint performs an unlock function. It changes your available recipe list when learned, but it is not consumed alongside gun parts during the weapon craft. The actual Bantam craft uses only the two material types shown at Gunsmith 1: Simple Gun Parts and Mechanical Components.
This distinction matters when planning a run. A player who has learned the blueprint can craft whenever the material requirement is met; finding another Bantam blueprint is not required for each additional revolver. Conversely, a player carrying an unlearned blueprint still cannot craft until the extraction and consume step has been completed in Speranza.

How to obtain the Bantam blueprint
Looting: possible, but no guaranteed location is established
Current guide coverage does not identify a fixed room, map, container, or drop rate that reliably produces the Bantam blueprint. It may appear in random containers or weapon cases, but that is not a promise of a particular spawn. Treat any route claiming a guaranteed Bantam room or exact drop percentage with caution unless a later game update documents it in the client or an authoritative source.
General blueprint sources are not Bantam-specific guarantees
Blueprints in ARC Raiders can be associated with scavenging, trials, quests, or projects. Those are broad ways blueprints may enter the game’s economy, not proof that each activity always rewards the Bantam. The same caution applies to community spawn lists: listed locations are not necessarily fully confirmed, and a general blueprint location should not be presented as a Bantam-only spawn.
Extract before attempting to learn
Regardless of how the item was obtained, the practical sequence is the same: secure it during the run, extract successfully, return to Speranza, and consume it from the inventory. A blueprint that remains in a defeated player’s lost gear or is abandoned before extraction cannot unlock the recipe.

Alternate route: research the blueprint
The current Bantam Blueprint listing also shows a research option at Research Station 1: 3,000 Research Points plus 8 Hornet Drivers for 1 Bantam Blueprint. This gives you a known-input alternative to searching uncertain loot locations.

Check the Research Station’s current display before committing resources. The listed research cost is a current reference point, not a guarantee that every future version will retain the same price. After obtaining the blueprint through research, you still need to learn or consume it in Speranza before the Gunsmith recipe becomes usable.
Choosing between loot and research
When looting makes sense
- You already run raids for other objectives and can accept an uncertain blueprint outcome.
- You want to preserve Research Points or Hornet Drivers for another project.
- You are comfortable extracting with a valuable item and repeating attempts if it does not appear.
When the Research Station is more practical
- You have the full 3,000 Research Points and 8 Hornet Drivers available.
- You want a route with a displayed input cost rather than an unknown loot chance.
- You would rather avoid treating an unconfirmed map location as a farming plan.
Neither route changes the Gunsmith recipe. The choice only affects how you acquire the blueprint; once it is learned, both routes lead to the same Tier 1 craft.
Material planning for multiple Bantams
The base requirement scales linearly. Two Bantams require 8 Simple Gun Parts and 8 Mechanical Components; three require 12 of each; four require 16 of each. This multiplication is useful before entering the Workshop because the station will not turn an incomplete set into a partial weapon.

Troubleshooting when the Bantam is unavailable
The blueprint is in inventory, but the recipe is missing
- Confirm that you are back in Speranza and not still in a raid.
- Select the blueprint and look for the learn or consume command.
- Complete the confirmation prompt; simply viewing the item does not unlock it.
- Reopen the Workshop and enter Gunsmith 1 again.
If the blueprint disappears but the recipe does not appear, restart the relevant inventory or Workshop screen and check again. If the issue persists, compare the station’s displayed progression requirements with the current patch notes or in-game help, because a later update may have changed the unlock flow.
The Bantam appears, but crafting is blocked
- Check that you have four Simple Gun Parts.
- Check that you have four Mechanical Components.
- Confirm you are using Gunsmith 1, not a different Workshop station.
- Read the current station panel for any newly added requirement.
Do not assume a higher Gunsmith tier will fix a missing material. The current recipe is a Gunsmith 1 recipe, so an insufficient material count or an unlearned blueprint is the more direct explanation.
The research option costs something different
Live-service values can be revised. If Research Station 1 displays a cost other than 3,000 Research Points and 8 Hornet Drivers, follow the value shown in your client. The displayed cost is the version-specific requirement you will actually pay.
A guide promises a specific blueprint spawn
There is no confirmed fixed Bantam spawn in the material available for this guide. Treat a claimed guaranteed room, map, or drop rate as unverified unless the game itself or a future authoritative update confirms it. Random-container guidance is safer than a precise route that the evidence does not support.
What kind of weapon the Bantam is
The Bantam is described as a short-barrel revolver with good handling and damage but low accuracy, control, and range. A recent guide frames it as an early-game, Anvil-like hand-cannon option and notes that it uses Heavy Ammo.
