The reliable order is to choose the accessory or progression goal, read its current recipe in the crafting menu, reserve materials needed for your weapon evolution, then farm only the remaining ingredients using the selected stage’s live reward preview. Crafting itself is reported as guaranteed after every ingredient is present, but recipes, drops, pity behavior, shop prices, stock and equipment slots can change with patches.
Independent community guides listed the figures and examples below on October 13, 2026. Treat the in-game recipe, reward preview, Material Shop and equipment screen as the final authority.

What crafting does in Anime Zero
Crafting is the accessory-production system. You spend materials earned from stages and other activities to create gear that adds permanent bonuses such as damage, health, coin gain, cooldown reduction, experience or movement speed. Accessories are separate from weapon evolution: an accessory recipe consumes its own ingredients, while the evolution screen lists a different set of requirements for upgrading a weapon.
That distinction matters because the same material inventory may be needed for two competing goals. A faster accessory can improve your clears now, but spending its ingredients can delay an evolution that your build depends on. Treat the two systems as separate lines in your plan instead of assuming that an accessory craft advances weapon progression.

A community crafting reference describes 14 accessory recipes. It is not an official developer catalogue, and the available references do not establish a complete, current recipe table or a permanent drop-rate table. Use the number 14 as a dated guide figure, not as a guarantee that every account or future patch will show exactly 14 recipes.
How to craft an accessory: the complete loop
Use this sequence whenever you are planning a craft. It prevents the most common mistake—spending a material that was already reserved for an evolution or another accessory.
- Choose the outcome. Decide whether you need faster damage clears, more survivability, extra experience, more coins, lower cooldowns or movement speed. Do not start by farming a random material.
- Open the current recipe. In the crafting interface, select the accessory and record every ingredient and quantity shown now. Guide examples can become stale after a balance update.
- Check your equipment plan. Open the weapon evolution screen for the weapon you actually use and write down its remaining requirements. Keep those quantities in a separate reserve.
- Calculate each shortfall. For every ingredient, subtract the amount you own and the amount you have deliberately reserved. Ingredients are not interchangeable; surplus cloth cannot replace a missing scroll.
- Inspect source previews. Select a Story act, Infinite stage, boss encounter or other available queue and read its reward preview. Choose a route that actually lists the material you need.
- Farm consistently. Keep difficulty, character, weapon and loadout consistent while comparing routes. Record target drops and elapsed time across repeated clears rather than judging a route from one lucky or unlucky run.
- Recheck before spending. If a small gap remains, compare the current Material Shop or Convert option with the time needed for another run. Verify the displayed price, stock and exchange quantity immediately before confirming.
- Craft and equip. Once every ingredient is held, submit the craft. Community guides report the craft as guaranteed at that point. Open the equipment screen afterward and verify the item’s slot and bonus before replacing another accessory.
Recipes and accessory bonuses
The documented beginner example
One beginner guide uses Gentleman’s Top Hat as an entry craft. It reports a requirement of 8 Fine Cloth and example bonuses of +3% damage, +5% experience and +2 walk speed. Those values are guide-reported examples, not confirmed permanent game data. Read the live tooltip before treating the hat, its recipe or its percentages as current.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesBonus families you may encounter
The crafting reference groups accessories into several bonus families. The following list explains what each family changes; it does not assign a particular bonus to every named recipe.
| Bonus family | Why a player might want it | Decision question |
|---|---|---|
| Damage | Shortens enemy time-to-kill and can make difficult clears reliable. | Will the extra damage turn failed clears into consistent clears? |
| Health | Provides more room for mistakes, contact damage or boss attacks. | Are deaths, rather than clear speed, blocking progress? |
| Coin gain | Improves currency earned during farming and can support purchases. | Will the added income repay its material opportunity cost? |
| Cooldown reduction | Lets abilities cycle more often when your build depends on skill uptime. | Does your primary damage come from abilities with meaningful cooldowns? |
| Experience | Accelerates level gain during runs and can improve early-run power. | Are you losing because your build comes online too slowly? |
| Movement speed | Helps reposition, avoid attacks and collect drops more quickly. | Would mobility prevent hits or reduce travel time between targets? |
Because the references do not provide a verified, complete mapping of every recipe to every bonus and slot, do not build a full set from a text guide alone. Confirm the name, ingredients, bonus values and equip location in your own crafting and equipment menus.
Where materials come from
Community material guides identify several source families. A source being listed means it is a plausible route; it does not prove a fixed drop chance or that every run will produce the item.

| Source | How to use it | What is not established |
|---|---|---|
| Story acts | Use the act’s reward preview to find listed materials, then select the difficulty you can clear consistently. | No complete public drop-rate table is verified. |
| Infinite waves | Check the selected Infinite queue for the target material before committing to a long run. | The best wave or a universal rate is not established. |
| Infinite bosses | Use a boss route when its preview contains the material you need and your build can clear it reliably. | Boss-specific rates and rotation rules may change. |
| Breakable walls | Break environmental walls during eligible content when the preview or current game prompts indicate material rewards. | A wall does not guarantee a material on every attempt. |
| Material pity | Follow the counter or prompt shown by the current interface if one is active. | A guide records that pity behavior changed and was rolled back during October 4 updates, so a fixed rule should not be assumed. |
| Material Shop and Convert | Use these only to close a small gap after comparing the displayed cost with another farm run. | Prices, stock, exchange quantities and timers are patch-sensitive. |
How to choose a farming route
Start with the reward preview
Open the queue or stage-selection screen and look for the material in the reward preview. This is stronger evidence than a remembered tier list or a post describing an earlier patch. If the item is not listed, choose another eligible route. If it is listed but does not appear in one run, that single empty result does not prove the item cannot drop.

Compare time, not just the apparent drop
Keep the difficulty and loadout stable while testing routes. Track at least the number of clears, target materials obtained and total elapsed time. A route that gives more items per run may still be worse per minute if each clear takes much longer. Conversely, a fast route may be inefficient if it rarely awards the target. A handful of runs can suggest a practical choice, but it cannot establish a true probability.
Match the route to your actual clear reliability
A theoretical high-level source is not useful if it causes frequent failures. Include failed attempts and recovery time in your comparison. Choose the hardest route you can clear repeatedly without spending consumables or changing the build needed for your main progression goal.
Build a material ledger before you spend
A small ledger makes opportunity cost visible. For each ingredient, record five fields:
- Material: the exact item name shown in the live recipe.
- Craft quantity: how many the selected accessory currently requires.
- Owned: the amount in your inventory now.
- Evolution reserve: the amount set aside for the weapon evolution you intend to complete.
- Next source: the stage, boss, wall activity or shop option you will use for any remaining gap.
Calculate the shortfall separately for every row: required quantity minus owned quantity, while keeping the evolution reserve protected. The planning guide’s illustrative case—12 required, 9 owned, 3 reserved and 6 short—is arithmetic, not an Anime Zero recipe. It demonstrates why “I own nine” is not the same as “I have nine available to craft.”
Update the ledger after each run and after every purchase or conversion. If the live recipe changes, discard the old quantity and recalculate instead of carrying a stale target forward.

Material Shop and Convert: when they make sense
A material reference gives these example shop prices: Fine Cloth and Shinobi Scroll at 2,500 Coins; Mana Feather and Eyeball at 10,000; Cursed Finger and Tech Component at 40,000; and Magic Pendant at 150,000. It also cites an example of 10 daily Fine Cloth stock. These are dated guide figures, not a current price list. Check the shop’s item price, remaining stock and reset timer in your game before buying.
| Material | Guide-reported example price | Qualification |
|---|---|---|
| Fine Cloth | 2,500 Coins | Community reference; verify current price and stock. |
| Shinobi Scroll | 2,500 Coins | Community reference; verify current price and stock. |
| Mana Feather | 10,000 Coins | Community reference; verify current price and stock. |
| Eyeball | 10,000 Coins | Community reference; verify current price and stock. |
| Cursed Finger | 40,000 Coins | Community reference; verify current price and stock. |
| Tech Component | 40,000 Coins | Community reference; verify current price and stock. |
| Magic Pendant | 150,000 Coins | Community reference; verify current price and stock. |
Buying or converting is most defensible when one or two items block a craft, the displayed cost is affordable, and another run would take substantially longer than the purchase. Farming is usually the safer default when the shop would consume coins needed for another upgrade. Never assume that a listed daily quantity replenishes at the same time or amount after an update.
Accessory crafting versus weapon evolution
Before committing materials, identify the bottleneck in your current build. One community guide says evolution unlocks a weapon’s fourth skill, while other guides frame evolution and accessories as competing uses of scarce resources. The fourth-skill statement and the prioritization advice should be treated as guide claims, not as an official universal progression rule; verify what your own evolution screen displays.

Favor evolution first when
- The evolution screen is close to complete and the weapon is central to your build.
- The accessory would provide a modest improvement but would consume the final ingredients for the evolution.
- Your current problem is missing a weapon capability rather than failing to survive or clear quickly.
Favor an accessory first when
- You can craft it from surplus materials without touching the evolution reserve.
- Its stat directly fixes the reason you are failing, such as health for repeated deaths or damage for a near-clear.
- The accessory lets you farm the evolution materials more reliably or quickly.
Use four-slot planning cautiously
An accessory reference reports that Update 2, dated October 8, 2026, expanded equipment to four slots: head, face, neck and back. The same reference says recipe guides do not consistently map each accessory to a slot. Confirm the slot on the equip screen before farming a supposed complete set. A four-slot interface does not by itself prove that four specific accessories, a particular set bonus or a fixed best-in-slot order exists.
Which accessory should you craft first?
There is no universally correct first accessory because the best choice depends on your bottleneck and the materials you can obtain reliably. Use this four-part comparison:
- Problem solved: choose the stat that addresses your immediate failure—damage for slow clears, health for deaths, cooldown for ability downtime, experience for weak early runs, coins for an economy shortage or movement speed for repeated positioning problems.
- Opportunity cost: compare every ingredient with the evolution reserve and any planned higher-priority craft.
- Farm reliability: favor materials from content you can clear repeatedly, not a route that is theoretically efficient but inconsistent for your account.
- Purchase cost: decide whether coins or conversion resources are worth saving the remaining runs, using the live shop terms.
For a new player, Gentleman’s Top Hat is a documented example of an entry craft, not a mandatory first choice. Its guide-reported Fine Cloth requirement and bonuses should be checked against the current menu before you commit.

Common problems and fixes
The material is listed but did not drop
One empty run is compatible with a low or variable chance. Confirm that the reward preview still lists the item, then continue tracking results over multiple consistent clears. Do not rewrite the recipe or conclude that the source is impossible from a single miss.
The recipe in a guide does not match your menu
Use your live recipe. Community pages can describe an earlier patch, a different mode or an example rather than a complete catalogue. Record the new ingredient quantities in your ledger and recalculate the shortfall.
The pity counter behaves differently than expected
Follow the current in-game counter or prompt. A community guide records changes and a rollback during October 4 updates, so older explanations may describe a behavior that is no longer active.
You cannot find the accessory’s slot
Open the equipment screen and inspect the item directly. References do not consistently map every recipe to head, face, neck or back, even after the reported four-slot expansion.
You are short one material after farming
Check the ledger for an accidentally protected reserve, then compare another eligible run with the current Shop or Convert offer. Confirm price, stock and exchange quantity before accepting the shortcut.

What is confirmed—and what is not
The available material describes crafting as accessory production, lists the broad bonus families and identifies Story acts, Infinite content, bosses and breakable walls as material sources. It also reports a Material Shop, a conversion option and a pity mechanic. Those mechanics are patch-sensitive.
No official recipe catalogue or official published drop-rate table is established by the available references. The 14-recipe count, the Gentleman’s Top Hat example, the shop figures and the four-slot Update 2 note should therefore be read with their dates and guide attribution in mind. Before spending scarce materials, verify the game version, recipe menu, reward preview, shop and equipment screen in the current client.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are Anime Zero accessory recipes official?
The available recipe counts and examples come from independent community guides, not an official developer recipe sheet. Use the current in-game crafting menu as the authoritative requirement.
Can one material substitute for another in a recipe?
No substitution is established. Track every ingredient separately and obtain the exact item and quantity shown by the live recipe.
Is crafting guaranteed once all ingredients are collected?
Community references report a guaranteed craft after all listed ingredients are held; obtaining those ingredients can still require repeated runs and changing mechanics.
