The only model-specific part is how you trigger pairing mode, and that differs between Jabra products. This guide covers the general route, the Jabra Elite 2 as a worked example, Google Fast Pair, and what to do when a headset refuses to connect.
Connect Jabra headphones to a Samsung phone: the standard steps
- Charge and power on the headset. Bluetooth devices generally have to be actively in pairing mode before the phone can see them.
- Start pairing mode using your model’s instructions. Check the manual or Jabra’s support page for your exact headset. One button sequence does not apply to every Jabra product.
- Open Bluetooth settings on the Galaxy. Go to Settings > Connections > Bluetooth and make sure Bluetooth is on.
- Select the Jabra device from the available devices list, then tap Pair or accept the prompt if one appears.
Samsung’s support documentation notes that “the available screens and settings may vary by wireless service provider and software version,” so your labels may differ slightly from the ones above.

Example: pairing the Jabra Elite 2
This sequence comes from Jabra’s EMEA support FAQ for the Elite 2 and applies to that model only.
- Turn on Bluetooth on the phone.
- Take both earbuds out of the charging case, or power them on.
- Press and hold the Left and Right buttons together for three seconds, until the right earbud’s LED flashes blue.
- Select “Jabra Elite 2” in the phone’s Bluetooth menu.
The simultaneous three-second hold is a feature of this model, not a brand-wide rule. Other Jabra earbuds and headbands use different gestures.

Manual pairing or Google Fast Pair?

If no Fast Pair prompt appears, use the manual route. It always applies.
Jabra headphones won’t connect to Samsung: fixes in order
Work from the least disruptive step to the most.
1. Confirm the headset is in pairing mode
A headset that is merely switched on, or already linked to another device, may not show up in the scan. Repeat the pairing-mode steps for your model.

2. Remove the saved entry and pair again
If a headset that worked before no longer reconnects, open Bluetooth settings on the phone, remove (unpair) the Jabra entry, return the headset to pairing mode, and pair it as new. A stale saved entry is a common reason a previously working headset stops connecting.

3. Restart both devices
Samsung’s guidance suggests restarting the phone and the headset, then trying again.

4. Reset Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings, as a last resort
Samsung lists a reset of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings among its troubleshooting options. It removes saved connection information, so every Bluetooth device, and your saved Wi-Fi networks, will need to be set up again. Use it only after the steps above have failed.
