Yes. You can pair AirPods with a Samsung Galaxy tablet using Bluetooth, much like other wireless headphones. Once connected, you can listen and talk, but Siri is unavailable on a non-Apple device. The pairing steps depend on your AirPods model.
Pair AirPods with a Samsung Galaxy tablet

On the tablet, open Settings > Connections > Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth on. You can also touch and hold Bluetooth in Quick settings to open its settings. Samsung notes that screens may vary with the tablet’s software version and wireless carrier.

Put your AirPods into pairing mode using the instructions for their model below. Keep the case open where the steps call for it, and look for the status light to flash white.

AirPods 4 or AirPods Pro 3: With the earbuds in the open case, hold the case near the tablet and double-tap the front of the case until the status light flashes white.

On the tablet, find AirPods in the list of available Bluetooth devices and select them. Confirm the pairing on the tablet if prompted. Samsung says some Bluetooth devices may request confirmation or a PIN; its guidance does not specify an AirPods-specific PIN.

What works when AirPods are connected
Apple describes AirPods as usable “as a Bluetooth headset with a non-Apple device.” On a Samsung tablet, that means you can listen and talk. Siri is not available when AirPods are connected to a non-Apple device.
Basic Bluetooth pairing does not establish that every Apple-specific feature, control, or automatic-switching behavior will work as it does with Apple devices. Apple and Samsung’s setup guidance does not provide a complete feature-by-feature comparison for every AirPods generation on Galaxy tablets.
If your AirPods do not appear in Bluetooth settings

Check that Bluetooth is on in the tablet’s settings.

Make sure the AirPods have entered pairing mode. For the case-based models, check for the white flashing status light; AirPods Max also use a white flashing light when ready to pair.

Refresh or reopen the tablet’s available-device list, then select the AirPods when they appear.

If the tablet has a saved Bluetooth entry for the AirPods and the connection is troublesome, Samsung notes that unpairing a saved Bluetooth device can help with connectivity problems.

Samsung says most Bluetooth devices pair in a similar way, though some devices may need a support app to connect or operate. Its guidance does not establish that an app is needed for basic AirPods pairing, and the cited setup instructions do not prescribe a universal reset or tablet setting for every failure.
