Connect a laptop or streaming stick to the XGIMI Elfin Flip Laser (WM03R) through its HDMI input, then use the remote’s Input control to select HDMI. For a phone, use Google Cast or DLNA if the phone and app support a compatible option; a wired connection requires a phone that can output video through its adapter. The projector also has Google TV built in, so a separate streaming stick is optional.

Connect a laptop
- Connect the laptop’s HDMI output to the projector’s HDMI input with an HDMI cable. XGIMI lists one HDMI (eARC) input for the Elfin Flip Laser. Product specifications
- On the projector remote, use the Input control and choose HDMI. XGIMI identifies Input as a remote control function. Product details
- If the laptop has no HDMI port, connect a laptop-compatible video adapter that outputs HDMI, then select HDMI on the projector. Check the laptop manufacturer’s documentation to confirm video output support for that adapter; XGIMI does not certify specific laptops or adapters.
Connect a phone
Try wireless casting
XGIMI lists Google Cast and DLNA mirroring for the Elfin Flip Laser. Use the compatible casting or media-sharing feature available on your phone and in the app you want to use. Support on the projector does not mean every phone, app, or streaming service can send content to it; XGIMI does not provide a comprehensive compatibility list. Product page; feature page

Use a cable if your phone supports video output
A wired phone connection needs an adapter compatible with that particular phone and capable of outputting video to HDMI. Check the phone manufacturer’s specifications before buying an adapter. A USB-C connector by itself does not establish that the phone supports video output, and XGIMI does not publish a phone compatibility list for this projector.

Connect a streaming stick
- Plug the stick into the Elfin Flip Laser’s HDMI input.
- Use the remote’s Input control to select HDMI.
- Complete setup using the instructions supplied with the streaming stick. Its power requirements vary by device and are not specified by XGIMI.
You can also use the projector’s built-in Google TV instead of adding a separate streaming stick. XGIMI product details

Choose between a wired and wireless phone connection
- Check casting support: Does your phone and the specific app support a compatible Google Cast or DLNA path?
- Check wired video support: Does your phone output video through the adapter you plan to use?
- Consider how you will use the phone: Decide whether you need to keep interacting with it while content plays.
- Choose the interface: The projector’s Google TV may be enough, while a stick offers its own separate streaming interface.

Troubleshoot a connection that does not appear
For HDMI sources
- Confirm the cable or adapter is connected to the projector’s HDMI input.
- Check that the remote’s Input control is set to HDMI.
- Confirm that the laptop, phone, or other source is outputting video and that any adapter supports video output.
XGIMI’s reviewed product information does not give a model-specific sequence for diagnosing a blank HDMI screen. These are basic connection checks, not a claim about a known projector fault.
