Where to go for Scarily Sweet
Only six villager homes count toward this duty:
- Mickey Mouse
- WALL-E
- Daisy
- Stitch
- Mike Wazowski
- Jack Skellington
At an eligible home, look for a lit jack-o’-lantern outside. The pumpkin is the interaction point for Trick-or-Treating; entering the house or speaking to an unrelated villager does not advance Scarily Sweet.

Step-by-step: complete five Trick-or-Treat interactions
- Open the Duties menu. Find the seasonal Trick-or-Treat section and select Scarily Sweet so you can monitor its progress.
- Travel to an eligible home. Visit the homes of Mickey, WALL-E, Daisy, Stitch, Mike Wazowski, or Jack Skellington.
- Find the lit pumpkin. A lit jack-o’-lantern outside the house indicates that the home is currently available.
- Interact with the pumpkin. Choose the Trick-or-Treat prompt and complete the interaction with the villager.
- Repeat until the counter reaches 5/5. You can use five different homes during one daily cycle, or finish the duty over multiple resets.
After you use a pumpkin, its light goes out. That house cannot provide another interaction until the next daily reset.
How many houses do you need?
Scarily Sweet requires five completed house interactions, not visits to all six homes. The sixth eligible home gives you another option if one house is inconvenient or its pumpkin has already been used. Progress is based on completed Trick-or-Treat interactions and can be finished across daily cycles while the event is active.

What each interaction gives you
Every qualifying interaction awards the same candy bundle:
- 5 Green Candy
- 5 Red Candy
- 5 Purple Candy
These are event currencies used for Halloween-themed crafting. The 2026 event runs from October 14 through October 31, 2026. From October 14–30, the house pumpkins follow the daily availability cycle. Candy buckets appear more frequently on October 31, but the house-interaction method remains the route for Scarily Sweet.

These are not furniture items sold by Scrooge McDuck’s shop. Once a duty milestone unlocks a recipe, craft the item at a crafting station using the candy materials listed in the recipe.
Scarily Sweet versus Sweet ’n’ Scary
The two Trick-or-Treat duties count the same type of house interaction but use different thresholds and reward families.

For the fastest overall progress, complete every available eligible house interaction. The same Trick-or-Treat activity can contribute to the relevant seasonal duty counters.

Why Scarily Sweet may not be completing
The pumpkin is not lit
Only a lit jack-o’-lantern marks an available interaction. A pumpkin whose light has gone out has already been used for the current cycle. Check another eligible home or wait for the daily reset.

You visited the wrong house
Scarily Sweet does not count every residence in the valley. Return to the six named villagers: Mickey, WALL-E, Daisy, Stitch, Mike Wazowski, or Jack Skellington.
You stopped after fewer than five interactions
The first Scarily Sweet reward requires five completed Trick-or-Treat interactions. Visiting one, two, or three houses is enough for some Sweet ’n’ Scary milestones but not for Scarily Sweet’s 5/5 requirement.

You are expecting an immediate repeat
After an interaction, the pumpkin’s light turns off. It becomes available again after the daily reset rather than immediately. If you have fewer than five completed interactions and all available pumpkins are dark, continue on the next daily cycle before October 31.
Reset timing and the event deadline
The house pumpkins return on the game’s daily reset. The event is scheduled for October 14–31, 2026, so complete the required interactions before the event ends. October 31 has more frequent candy-bucket appearances, but those buckets do not replace the qualifying house interactions needed for Scarily Sweet.
