To complete The Hedron Link in CONTROL Resonant, rescue Emily Pope in Prime Candidate Training, cross the Unknown and defeat Hedron Parallel, then return to Pope in the Oldest House lobby and finish the conversation. The route below follows third-party walkthrough guidance; it is not an official Remedy map or a tested optimal build.
Start The Hedron Link after The House in Distress
PowerPyx lists The House in Distress as the prerequisite. Its objective sequence is to rescue Pope, sever the Hedron Link, and report to Pope. The walkthrough route begins in Prime Candidate Training.

Find Pope in Prime Candidate Training
- Follow the sector signs toward Prime Candidate Training.
- Pass the holding cells and stairwells, then continue through the High Risk Chamber.
- Proceed into the Director Training access tunnel to reach Pope and her squad.
These landmarks come from the Nerdschalk walkthrough, rather than an official map. If you lose the route, use the sector signage and retrace the path through the named rooms.

- From Pope, continue through the Main Test Chamber.
- Follow the shifting route across the floating platforms.
- Move onward through the red-carpeted Unknown toward the Hedron anomaly.
The route description does not establish precise map directions or a required platform sequence, so treat the chamber landmarks as orientation cues rather than fixed step-by-step coordinates.

Defeat Hedron Parallel
The Nerdschalk walkthrough describes golden projectile volleys, energy beams, and a shifting floating arena, with an exposed boss cluster or core as the attack target. It suggests dodging projectile volleys, changing platforms when beams threaten your position, and focusing attacks on the exposed core when you have an opening.
Choose attacks without assuming a best build
PowerPyx says Hedron enemies resist Raw damage, which it identifies as the basic Strike attack, and recommends other damage options. Nerdschalk suggests telekinetic attacks and melee bursts against enemies, and focused kinetic attacks against Hedron Parallel. These are walkthrough suggestions, not measured comparisons: the sources provide no damage values, completion times, or build-versus-build tests.

Use movement to manage beam pressure
When a beam threatens your current platform, relocate rather than staying in its path. Once the threat passes and the core is exposed, resume focused attacks. The guides do not establish that any particular movement pattern or attack is mandatory.

Return to Pope to finish the mission
- After the dimensional sequence, return to Pope in the Oldest House lobby.
- Complete the conversation with her.
- Check the quest log to confirm the mission is complete.
The return and conversation are the final reported objective; defeating Hedron Parallel alone does not finish the walkthrough’s stated sequence.

Game availability
Remedy Entertainment announced that CONTROL Resonant launched worldwide on September 24, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, and that physical editions are available. Remedy’s game page also lists GeForce NOW and says Mac availability via Steam and the App Store will follow later in 2026. Check Remedy’s official game page for current platform information. Remedy described the game as “its most expansive game to date”; that is the publisher’s characterization, not an independently measured comparison.
