How to Complete Aniimo Collection Tasks and Claim Their Rewards on PS5 and PC

To claim a regional area reward in Aniimo, use the world map—not the ordinary Mail screen. Zoom out until regions and their percentages appear, open the region’s collection panel, and confirm each unlocked reward there. On PS5, the dated walkthrough uses L3 to move from the Aniimo list to the rewards section; on PC, follow the key prompt shown beside the panel, especially if you changed your bindings.

Aniimo has a second collection path as well. Catching creatures records them in the AniLog, where milestone progress can award Aniimo Accessories. Regional completion and AniLog milestones are related, but they use different trackers and claim locations. Keeping those systems separate is the key to finding a reward that appears to be missing.

Two collection systems, two reward locations

Before pressing any button, identify which notification you are following. A regional-area notification concerns one map region and its capture percentage. An AniLog notification concerns your overall creature catalogue and the milestones attached to it.

Activity What increases progress Where progress is viewed Where the reward is claimed
Regional area collection Catching the Aniimo recorded for that region, including forms needed for complete area coverage The selected region’s map collection panel The reward section inside that same regional panel
AniLog collection milestones Catching and collecting different Aniimo, then completing the milestones shown in the AniLog AniLog and individual creature entries According to the current AniLog or in-game event prompt

The official global launch page describes the AniLog path this way: “Catch and collect various Aniimo. Unlock the Aniilog to claim Aniimo Accessory.” A later official launch notice explains the same system as catching and collecting Aniimo, reaching AniLog milestones, and earning Aniimo Accessories. The exact accessory or event condition can change, so use the active notice in your game for the reward currently attached to a milestone.

These systems can advance at the same time, which is why a single catch may appear to affect more than one screen. That does not merge their claim controls. A regional percentage is completed and claimed from the selected area; an AniLog milestone is reviewed and claimed from AniLog or the event flow that the game displays.

What you need before starting

Know which platform controls apply

The regional walkthrough published on 18 September 2026 covers PS5 and PC. Its interface directions are time-sensitive: a game update can move a control, and a customized PC keybind can replace the default shown in older instructions. Keep the on-screen prompt as the final authority when it differs from a remembered button.

Have a way to identify missing creatures

Each region has its own recorded catches and missing entries. In the map ledger or collection screen, undiscovered creatures appear as silhouettes. Selecting one reveals the spawn conditions reported by the gameplay guide, which lets you plan a hunt instead of searching every location at random. Record the silhouette and its conditions before leaving the map so you know what kind of encounter you are looking for.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Expect separate regional percentages

Every area tracks its own completion. Captures in one region do not advance another region’s bar, so select the area you intend to finish before interpreting its percentage or looking for its reward. If you switch regions, read the new percentage rather than assuming the previous bar carried over.

Understand what counts as a catch

The practical collection loop is to catch an Aniimo, let the entry register, and then check the relevant tracker. A newly recorded creature can help both a regional checklist and an AniLog milestone, but only the region where the game records that entry contributes to that area’s capture completion. Forms are worth checking individually; a common version does not necessarily stand in for a Prismana or a special-weather version.

How to claim a regional area reward

1. Open the world map and expose the regional view

  1. Open the world map from normal gameplay.
  2. Zoom out until regional names and collection percentages are visible.
  3. Move the cursor or focus to the region you are working on and select it.

If you remain zoomed in on local terrain, the regional percentage and reward panel may not be available. The required view is the one that displays named regions and their individual completion values. Do not start in the ordinary Mail screen: that is not where the dated area-reward walkthrough places the regional claim control.

2. Read the selected region’s collection panel

The panel lists Aniimo already recorded for that area, silhouettes for entries you have not found, and the region’s current progress. This is also the place to inspect the missing-entry information. Select an undiscovered silhouette to see its reported spawn conditions, then leave the map and hunt that creature or form.

Use the panel as both a status page and a checklist. A visible silhouette means the game still has an unrecorded entry for that region; a filled entry confirms that the catch has been logged. The percentage tells you how far the area has progressed, while the reward row tells you whether a milestone is merely reached or has already been claimed.

3. Raise the bar with catches from that area

Catch the missing Aniimo identified by the regional ledger. A catch that belongs to another region will not finish the selected area. The gameplay guide calls this value regional capture completion; it is distinct from reporting catches at an Outpost Research Console.

After a planned catch, reopen the map and verify that the entry changed from a silhouette and that the percentage moved as expected. This quick check prevents a long hunt based on the wrong form or the wrong region. If the entry remains a silhouette, inspect its conditions again rather than assuming the reward system is stuck.

4. Return to the panel when a reward mark is reached

The 18 September 2026 ComputerSluggish walkthrough identifies reward marks at 40%, 70%, and 100%. These are progression thresholds reported for the game walkthrough, not independent population or success statistics.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

When the bar reaches one of those marks, reopen the same region’s collection panel. Move focus to the available reward, then confirm it. A threshold can be reached without an item appearing in your inventory if the panel claim has not been completed, so check the reward state before assuming the game failed to deliver anything.

Claim each available mark before moving on. If several marks are open, inspect the entire rewards section rather than stopping after the first item. The important distinction is between an unlocked reward and a claimed reward: the percentage can be correct while the item is still waiting for your confirmation in the panel.

5. Use the platform-specific focus sequence

On PS5, select the region, press L3 to show its regional Aniimo list, and press L3 again to move focus to the rewards section. Select an available reward and confirm.

On PC, use the prompt displayed beside the collection or reward area. Do not assume the PS5 sequence or an unmodified keyboard layout applies to your installation. If you remapped controls, the prompt reflects your current binding and is the reliable instruction. A controller connected to a PC can also display a different prompt from a keyboard, so follow what the game currently shows.

PS5 and PC regional-claim controls compared

Platform Navigation described by the walkthrough Important qualification
PS5 With the region selected, press L3 to show the regional Aniimo list; press L3 again to move focus to rewards; select an available reward and confirm. The walkthrough is dated 18 September 2026, so later updates may alter the interface.
PC Follow the key prompt displayed beside the collection or reward area, then select and confirm the available reward. Custom keybinds can change the required key; use the prompt rather than a presumed default.

The two paths lead to the same regional reward area, but they are not interchangeable button recipes. On PS5, the described double-L3 focus change is the useful shortcut. On PC, the safe procedure is visual: select the region, locate the collection or reward prompt, and use the displayed key. If an update changes the labels, the current interface outranks a dated button list.

What is required for 100% in a region?

Ordinary wild spawns may not be enough. The Aniimo Eggs gameplay guide says that full regional completion requires the selected zone’s Prismana and its special weather forms as well. Treat that as a gameplay-guide description rather than an official patch note, and verify the remaining requirements against the silhouettes and spawn-condition details in your map ledger.

Use silhouettes as a completion checklist

  1. Open the regional collection panel for the area that is below full completion.
  2. Look for silhouettes or other unrecorded entries.
  3. Select each missing entry to reveal the available spawn-condition information.
  4. Plan hunts around the listed conditions, including the zone’s Prismana and special weather forms when those are the remaining entries.
  5. Catch the missing forms, then reopen the panel to confirm that the percentage has advanced.

This method is more dependable than repeatedly catching only the most common creatures. A region can look well populated while still lacking the special forms needed by its completion checklist. The final few percentage points therefore deserve the same inspection as the first few: use the ledger to identify the exact missing entry instead of guessing from the landscape.

How AniLog collection milestones work

Register new species

The gameplay guide reports that catching a new species registers it in the AniLog automatically. Individual creature entries also contain research tasks. Open the relevant entry after a catch to see what the game is asking you to complete next. Registration and task completion are related but not identical: an entry can be present in AniLog while its listed tasks still need attention.

Follow the milestone shown in AniLog

Catch and collect the variety of Aniimo required by the active milestone. The official pages describe milestone rewards as Aniimo Accessories. Because event notices can define the current condition or item, read the current in-game announcement rather than relying on a launch-era example. The announcement is the best place to confirm whether the milestone is asking for a collection count, a particular activity, or a limited event condition.

Check individual creature entries

When AniLog shows a creature, open its entry instead of stopping at the catalogue page. The gameplay guide says entries include research tasks, which can provide the next concrete objective. Work through the task wording exactly as displayed, then return to AniLog to check whether the associated milestone changed. This avoids mistaking a newly registered entry for a fully completed entry.

Do not use the regional panel for an AniLog claim

The regional panel is for area progress and its area rewards. AniLog milestones are tracked in AniLog and in creature entries. If an AniLog notification says a milestone is complete, open AniLog and follow that milestone’s own claim instruction instead of searching the Mail screen or another region’s panel.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Regional rewards, AniLog rewards, and official mail are not the same loop

The official launch notice states: “All in-game rewards are issued through official events and in-game mail.” It also warns players against unofficial links and directs them to official support in the game. That statement describes official reward delivery generally; the regional walkthrough specifically places the area-reward confirmation control in the map collection panel.

In practical terms, use the regional panel to trigger the regional claim. Use AniLog or the active event notice for AniLog milestones. Check official in-game mail only when the event or reward notice tells you that a delivered item should be there. Do not follow external links that promise a reward or ask for account information.

This distinction explains why checking Mail first can be unhelpful. A regional reward may be waiting for a confirmation inside the map panel even though other official rewards are delivered through mail. Conversely, an accessory tied to an event may use the delivery path described by that event. Always match the claim location to the notification that created the task.

Do not confuse area rewards with Outpost reporting

The gameplay guide describes a separate reporting loop at an Outpost Research Console. Submitting catches there can produce Report Cards, research points, and Credits. That reporting result is not the same as claiming a reward unlocked by the regional map percentage.

If you have submitted a catch at an Outpost but the regional reward is still unavailable, return to the region’s map panel. Conversely, if the map panel shows an unlocked regional reward, claiming it there is still necessary even if you have already reported catches at an Outpost. Think of the Outpost as a reporting destination and the regional panel as a progression-claim destination; completing one does not automatically complete the other.

Troubleshooting a missing or apparently unclaimable reward

The percentage reached a mark, but no item is visible

  • Reopen the exact region’s collection panel rather than checking ordinary Mail first.
  • Move focus to the rewards section and look for an available, unconfirmed reward.
  • Confirm the reward in the panel, then check inventory.
  • Make sure you were looking at the intended region; progress is not shared across areas.

The panel shows a silhouette and the percentage will not reach full

  • Select the silhouette to read its spawn-condition details.
  • Check for the zone’s Prismana and special weather forms, which the gameplay guide says are needed for 100%.
  • Return to the map after each relevant catch and verify that the regional bar changed.
  • Do not substitute an ordinary version for a listed special form unless the entry itself confirms that it counts.

The PS5 button sequence does not move focus

  • Confirm that a region is selected before pressing L3.
  • Press L3 once for the regional Aniimo list and again to move focus to rewards, as described by the dated walkthrough.
  • If the game interface has changed after an update, follow the current on-screen prompt.
  • Check that the controller input is being recognized before concluding that the reward is unavailable.

The PC instruction does not match your keyboard or controller

  • Read the prompt shown beside the collection or reward area.
  • Check whether you customized keybinds.
  • Use the displayed binding instead of a default copied from another guide.
  • If you switched between keyboard and controller, read the prompt again because the displayed input can change.

An AniLog milestone appears complete but the accessory is not present

  • Open AniLog and inspect the milestone’s own reward state.
  • Read the current in-game event notice for the active condition and delivery method.
  • Check official in-game mail only if that notice says the item is mailed.
  • Do not search the regional map panel for an AniLog-only accessory.

An Outpost submission did not unlock the area reward

  • Return to the selected region’s map collection panel.
  • Confirm that the regional percentage actually reached a listed mark.
  • Use the panel’s reward section to claim it.
  • Remember that Report Cards, research points, and Credits belong to the separate Outpost reporting loop.

A practical completion routine

  1. Choose one region on the world map and note its separate percentage.
  2. Open its collection panel and record every silhouette still missing.
  3. Select each silhouette to see spawn conditions, including any special form requirement.
  4. Hunt and catch the listed Aniimo in that region.
  5. Return to the panel whenever the bar reaches a reward mark and claim the available reward there.
  6. Continue until all required forms, including the region’s Prismana and special weather forms identified by the gameplay guide, are recorded.
  7. Separately open AniLog, review creature research tasks and milestones, and follow the active event instructions for accessory rewards.
  8. Use an Outpost Research Console only for its separate reporting rewards, such as Report Cards, research points, and Credits.

A useful rhythm is map, hunt, map again. The first map visit identifies the missing entry; the hunt supplies the catch; the second map visit confirms registration, percentage movement, and any newly unlocked reward. Repeat that cycle for the next silhouette. This keeps the checklist current and reduces backtracking caused by guessing at spawn conditions.

When a threshold appears, claim it immediately before switching regions. Then note the next percentage target and continue the same loop. Separately schedule AniLog checks after new species catches, because the catalogue can register automatically while its creature tasks and accessory milestone still require a review.

This order prevents the most common mix-up: treating a completed catch, an Outpost report, an AniLog milestone, and a regional reward claim as if they were one transaction. Each has its own tracker and confirmation point.

What the dated evidence supports

The regional button sequence and threshold values come from ComputerSluggish’s 18 September 2026 walkthrough for PS5 and PC. Its controls should be treated as version-sensitive. The Aniimo Eggs gameplay guide, rechecked against the released game on 20 September 2026 according to its own description, supplies the details about automatic AniLog registration, research tasks, map silhouettes, spawn conditions, regional capture completion, Prismana, special weather forms, and Outpost reporting. The official Aniimo launch pages establish the AniLog accessory concept and the use of official event notices and reward channels.

Where those sources differ in authority, use the official pages for event and reward announcements, the dated walkthrough for the described menu sequence, and the gameplay guide as a practical explanation of collection behavior rather than as a patch-note authority. If a later update changes labels or controls, follow the current game interface and event notice.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I claim an Aniimo regional area reward?

Open the world map, zoom out to the regional view, select the region, and open its collection panel. Move focus to that panel’s rewards section and confirm the available reward. The ordinary Mail screen is not the regional claim location described by the walkthrough.

What are the regional reward percentages in Aniimo?

The 18 September 2026 walkthrough identifies reward marks at 40%, 70%, and 100% regional collection. These are game progression thresholds, not success-rate statistics.

How do I claim a regional reward on PS5?

With the region selected, press L3 to show the regional Aniimo list, then press L3 again to move focus to the rewards section. Select an available reward and confirm. Updates can change this interface, so use the current prompt if it differs.

How do I claim a regional reward on PC?

Select the region and use the key prompt displayed beside the collection or reward area. Customized keyboard or controller bindings can change the input, so follow the prompt shown in your installation rather than assuming a default key.

Why is my regional percentage stuck below 100%?

Open the region’s silhouettes and select each missing entry to read its spawn conditions. The gameplay guide says 100% can require the zone’s Prismana and special weather forms, not just ordinary wild spawns.

Do catches in one region count toward another region?

No. Each area tracks its own collection percentage. Select the intended region and catch the entries recorded for that area.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

How do AniLog milestones award accessories?

Catch and collect Aniimo, open AniLog, and complete the milestones shown there. Official launch pages describe these milestones as awarding Aniimo Accessories; current event notices provide the active condition and reward details.

Is an Outpost Research Console the same as the regional reward panel?

No. Outpost submissions are a separate reporting loop that can yield Report Cards, research points, and Credits. Regional percentage rewards must be claimed from the selected region’s map collection panel.

Should I check Mail for every Aniimo reward?

No. Use the regional map panel for regional claims and AniLog or the active event flow for AniLog milestones. Check official in-game mail when the relevant event notice says the reward is delivered there.

What should I do if an AniLog accessory is missing?

Open AniLog and inspect the milestone’s reward state, then read the current in-game event notice for its condition and delivery method. Check official Mail only if that notice directs you there, and avoid unofficial reward links.

The Bottom Line

For regional rewards, zoom out on the world map, select the correct region, and claim the 40%, 70%, or 100% milestone from that region’s collection panel. PS5 uses the described L3 focus sequence; PC uses the displayed key prompt and your current bindings. For 100%, check silhouettes for the zone’s Prismana and special weather forms. Treat AniLog accessories and Outpost reporting as separate systems, and follow the current official event notice for their reward and delivery details.
