You cannot make a reliable specification-based choice between the vivo T6x and iQOO Z12x yet. As of October 13, 2026, reporting has identified both names in Bluetooth SIG certification entries, but the entries do not disclose specifications, launch dates, prices, regional variants, or retail availability. The vivo T6x is associated with model V2652 and the iQOO Z12x with model I2604. Until vivo and iQOO publish official product pages and matching local listings, any detailed comparison is prediction rather than fact.
This guide separates confirmed information from predecessor background, explains why the two phones should not be treated as rebrands, and gives you a practical comparison checklist for the moment official details appear.

What is actually confirmed about the vivo T6x and iQOO Z12x?
A report published by MobileTelco on October 6, 2026, says two Bluetooth SIG entries name the vivo T6x 5G and iQOO Z12x 5G. The reported model identifiers are V2652 for vivo and I2604 for iQOO.

| Phone | Reported identifier | What the listing establishes | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|---|
| vivo T6x 5G | V2652 | The name was associated with a Bluetooth SIG entry. | Processor, memory, storage, display, cameras, battery, charging, software, launch date, price, regions, or retail availability. |
| iQOO Z12x 5G | I2604 | The name was associated with a Bluetooth SIG entry. | Processor, memory, storage, display, cameras, battery, charging, software, launch date, price, regions, or retail availability. |
A certification entry is not the same as a product announcement or a complete specification sheet. It can indicate that a model is being prepared for Bluetooth-related certification, but it does not tell you when the phone will go on sale or which configuration will reach your country.
#1 Best Overall

- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
No official launch timing was identified for either model in the reported information. Do not treat a retailer placeholder, a social-media image, or an unverified specification list as confirmation unless it can be matched to an official vivo or iQOO announcement.
Are the vivo T6x and iQOO Z12x the same phone?
That is unconfirmed. Similar naming, a shared predecessor pattern, or a future matching specification sheet would not by itself prove that the two phones are identical. Brands sometimes sell related hardware under different names, but the available certification reporting does not establish a rebrand or hardware-twin relationship for these successors.
Why model numbers are not enough
V2652 and I2604 are useful identifiers for tracking future announcements, but they are not a bill of materials. They do not reveal whether the phones use the same chassis, camera sensors, modem configuration, battery, charging system, software build, or regional bands. Even if both devices later use the same processor, other components and warranty terms could differ.

Wait for official pages that show the complete model name, region, dimensions, specifications, and software information. A genuine hardware match should be supported by matching physical measurements, port and button layout, camera arrangement, battery and charging ratings, regulatory identifiers, and regional variant codes—not just by a leaked image or a shared chipset.
Do not use the vivo T5x or iQOO Z11x specifications as predictions
The vivo T5x 5G and iQOO Z11x 5G are older, separate products. Their official pages provide useful background about the product families, but they are not evidence of what the T6x or Z12x will ship with.
| Manufacturer-listed predecessor specification | vivo T5x 5G | iQOO Z11x 5G | How to use this information |
|---|---|---|---|
| Processor | MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Turbo | MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Turbo | Background only; do not assign this processor to either successor. |
| RAM | 6 GB or 8 GB | 6 GB or 8 GB | Background only; successor configurations are not established. |
| Storage | 128 GB or 256 GB | 128 GB or 256 GB | Background only; check the exact local variants when announced. |
| Battery | 7,200 mAh | 7,200 mAh | Manufacturer-listed predecessor capacity, not a T6x or Z12x figure. |
| Charging | 44 W | 44 W | Manufacturer-listed predecessor rating, not a successor guarantee. |
| Display | 6.76-inch LCD, 2,344 × 1,080, up to 120 Hz | 6.76-inch LCD, 2,344 × 1,080 | Predecessor information only; the Z11x page’s cited specification does not establish a Z12x refresh rate. |
| Rear cameras | 50 MP plus 2 MP | 50 MP plus 2 MP | Do not assume the same sensors or video modes on the new phones. |
| Front camera | 32 MP | 32 MP | Predecessor information only. |
The matching headline figures are precisely why caution is necessary: a shared predecessor specification can suggest a product strategy, but it cannot prove that the next generation will be identical. vivo India lists these figures for the T5x page, and the iQOO India E-Store lists them for the Z11x page. They are not official T6x or Z12x specifications.

A durability warning that applies only to the T5x page
vivo’s T5x page states, “This product is not a professional waterproof phone,” and notes that resistance may diminish through daily use. That wording belongs to the T5x product page. It must not be presented as a durability statement for the unannounced T6x.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteWhich comparison details matter once official pages appear?
Compare like with like: the same country, the same storage tier, and the same purchase date. A low local price for a 6 GB/128 GB model is not directly comparable with an 8 GB/256 GB launch price in another market.
1. Exact identity and regional compatibility
- Record the full retail name and model code for each phone.
- Check whether the listing is a global, Indian, Southeast Asian, or other regional version.
- Compare supported 5G and 4G bands for your carrier; a phone can have different radio support by region.
- Confirm that the warranty is valid in the country where you will use the device.
Do not combine a specification page from one country with a price or warranty page from another. Regional variants can change storage, charging accessories, network bands, software features, and service coverage.
2. Launch date, price, and availability
Record the announced launch date, the first official local price, and the configuration attached to that price. Note whether the amount is a limited introductory offer, a bank discount, an exchange promotion, or the recurring list price. Also check whether both phones are actually in stock through an authorized seller. A certification entry alone does not make either model purchasable.
3. Processor and real performance
Compare the exact chipset name and memory technology, then look for independent tests of the exact retail model. Chipset branding alone does not establish gaming frame rates, sustained performance, thermal behavior, modem performance, or battery life. If a review tests a different RAM/storage or regional version, identify that difference before applying its results to your purchase.

Useful independent evidence would include sustained-load testing, application and game results, thermal measurements, and reports of throttling. No independent performance results for the prospective T6x or Z12x were established in the available reporting, so there is no defensible winner on speed yet.

- Flawless 4K@60Hz Video with HDMI: Delivers exceptional clarity and smoothness with its 4K@60Hz HDMI port, making it ideal for high-definition presentations and entertainment. (Note: Only the HDMI port supports video projection; the USB-C port is for data transfer only.)
- Double Up on Efficiency: The two USB-A 3.0 ports and a USB-C port support a fast 5Gbps data rate, significantly boosting your transfer speeds and improving productivity.

- What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (7-in-1), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.
4. Display quality, not just refresh rate
Check panel type, resolution, refresh-rate range, touch sampling, peak and sustained brightness, color modes, outdoor legibility, and protection glass. A headline such as 120 Hz says little about whether the panel can maintain that rate in games, whether it drops to save power, or how readable it is in direct sunlight.
When reviews become available, distinguish a manufacturer’s peak-brightness claim from measured brightness. Also check whether all regional variants use the same panel.
5. Battery capacity and charging
Compare the rated battery capacity and charging wattage, but keep three different claims separate:
- Capacity: the manufacturer’s rated milliamp-hour figure.
- Charging rating: the maximum supported wattage under specified conditions, often requiring the supplied charger and cable.
- Real endurance and charge time: independent measurements that depend on network signal, brightness, software, temperature, and usage.
The 7,200 mAh and 44 W figures listed above belong to the T5x and Z11x predecessors. They should not be copied into a T6x/Z12x comparison. No independent endurance or charging test for either prospective model was established.
6. Cameras and video
List every rear and front sensor, stabilization method, autofocus capability, maximum video resolution and frame rate, slow-motion modes, and software features. Megapixel counts do not reveal sensor size, lens quality, dynamic range, night performance, or stabilization. A credible camera comparison should use samples from both phones under the same lighting, not merely repeat the specification sheet.
7. Software and support
Record the operating-system version at launch, the manufacturer’s security-update policy, the promised number of major Android upgrades, and the update end date if published. Check preinstalled applications, advertising or notification behavior, and whether region-specific features differ. These details can matter more over several years than a small processor difference.

- Please Note: To reach 10Gbps speed, keep the cable under 3.3 ft. For USB A Male to USB C adapters, try flipping the USB C connector. USB C Male to USB A adapters support bidirectional 10Gbps transfer within 3.3 ft
8. Physical design, durability, and service
Compare dimensions, weight, materials, ingress-resistance rating, port type, speaker arrangement, fingerprint-reader location, and included accessories. Verify whether an IP rating is officially certified and what the warranty excludes. A general statement about splash resistance is not equivalent to a water-proofing guarantee, and predecessor wording cannot be transferred to a new model.
A practical comparison worksheet
Use this worksheet after both brands publish complete regional information. Fill every cell from the same market and, where possible, the same retailer or official store.

How to compare the phones step by step after announcement
- Open the official product pages. Save the pages for the country where you will buy and note the publication date or last update.
- Record the exact model codes. Do not assume a phone with the same marketing name has identical bands or memory in every market.
- Match configurations. Compare 6 GB/128 GB with 6 GB/128 GB, or 8 GB/256 GB with 8 GB/256 GB. If one configuration has no direct counterpart, say so rather than averaging prices.
- Check network support. Compare the listed 4G and 5G bands with your carrier’s requirements.
- Separate claims from measurements. Put manufacturer ratings in one column and independent test results in another.
- Check software support and warranty. Confirm update promises, service locations, repair terms, and whether the seller is authorized.
- Calculate the delivered cost. Include the correct charger, taxes, shipping, and any required accessories; do not treat a temporary coupon as the normal price.
- Recheck availability immediately before purchase. Certification and announcement do not guarantee that your preferred storage tier is in stock.
Common mistakes that produce a misleading comparison
Copying the T5x or Z11x specification sheet
This is the most serious error. The older models’ matching 7,200 mAh batteries, 44 W charging, 6.76-inch displays, and camera figures are manufacturer-listed predecessor facts, not evidence about the successors.
Calling the phones rebrands without proof
A shared processor, identical-looking photographs, or similar names can be clues, but they do not establish identical hardware. Wait for matching official details and verified regional model codes.
Comparing different countries or storage tiers
Price, bands, chargers, software features, and warranty can change by region. Always state the market and configuration beside every price or specification.
Treating a peak number as everyday performance
Refresh rate, brightness, charging wattage, and battery capacity are not substitutes for measured results. Look for sustained performance, outdoor display testing, endurance runs, and timed charging tests on the exact models.

Buying from an unverified listing
Do not order an alleged T6x or Z12x until the product is officially announced and the seller’s listing matches the official name, model code, region, and warranty. A predecessor is not a valid substitute for the exact phone you intended to compare.
Which one should you choose right now?
Neither can be recommended on specifications yet. The responsible choice is to wait for official details if you need a direct T6x-versus-Z12x decision. If you must buy immediately, evaluate currently available phones as separate purchases rather than treating the T5x or Z11x as confirmed stand-ins for their successors.
Once both products are official, choose the vivo model only if its verified regional price, support, display, battery, camera, or software package better fits your priorities; choose the iQOO model under the same evidence standard. A lower price or larger battery should not outweigh missing bands, weaker support, an inferior display, or an uncompetitive update policy.
What evidence would make the comparison final?
A final recommendation requires, at minimum, official regional specifications and prices for both phones, confirmed launch and stock status, and credible independent testing of the exact retail variants. The most useful tests will cover sustained performance, battery endurance, charging time, display readability, camera samples, thermal behavior, and software support in addition to the manufacturer’s headline numbers.
Until those details exist, the confirmed conclusion is limited but clear: the names and model identifiers have been reported, while the information needed to declare a winner has not.
