Kaseya describes a core trio of Datto RMM, Autotask, and IT Glue; ConnectWise presents a range of PSA, RMM, remote-support, automation, and documentation products; NinjaOne describes endpoint management alongside PSA workflows. Those product descriptions show areas of overlap, but they do not establish which platform will perform best for your organization.
What each platform includes
Vendors describe their products at different levels: one may emphasize a combination of tools, another a set of product packages, and another a connected platform. Treat these descriptions as a starting map, then confirm the exact products, licenses, and capabilities in a quote and demonstration.

| Vendor | Published product scope | What to verify in your evaluation |
|---|---|---|
| Kaseya | Kaseya describes Datto RMM for endpoint monitoring and remediation, Autotask for ticketing, project management, and billing, and IT Glue for IT documentation and password management. Its Autotask description also lists contracts, time tracking, resource planning, and 300+ integrations. | Confirm which integrations you need are available and suitable for your workflows. Test how endpoint, ticket, billing, documentation, and password records relate across the products in the specific configuration you would buy. |
| ConnectWise | ConnectWise describes PSA, RMM, remote support, workflow automation, documentation, and reporting. Its PSA packages list functions including ticketing, project and opportunity management, asset management, finance and billing, and workflow automation; package-specific additions vary. ConnectWise also announced a ConnectWise Pro bundle in 2025. | Get the current package and license scope for your market. Confirm which capabilities are included, which require separate products or add-ons, and whether ConnectWise Pro is currently available to you. |
| NinjaOne | NinjaOne describes an endpoint-management platform and PSA workflows connected with tools such as ticketing, documentation, IT asset management, and billing. It also presents integrations as part of its broader platform. | Test the depth of service-management, billing, and documentation functions you actually need, along with the integrations and endpoint workflows in your environment. |
These are vendor descriptions, not independent feature or performance assessments. In particular, use Kaseya-versus-NinjaOne and NinjaOne-versus-ConnectWise comparison pages to generate questions, not as neutral evidence about competitors.
How to run a fair comparison
Start with the workflows your team performs most often and the requirements it cannot compromise on. Give each vendor the same written scenarios and pass/fail criteria before demonstrations or a proof of concept. Include the people who will administer the system and the staff who will use it day to day.
#1 Best Overall
- Define the environment. List the operating systems, servers, workstations, mobile devices, cloud services, and network assets you need to manage. Specify endpoint counts and any required coverage by device type.
- Script representative tasks. For example, trace an alert from monitoring through triage, remediation, ticket updates, customer communication, and reporting. Also test a routine patching task, a remote-support session, a recurring service request, and a billable project or time entry if those are part of your work.
- Score each workflow consistently. Record whether the task passed, the steps required, the roles and permissions involved, any manual handoffs, and the evidence or report the system produced. Agree on what counts as a pass before vendors demonstrate.
- Test records and integrations end to end. Check whether the systems you rely on exchange the right ticket, asset, customer, time, and documentation data. Verify the specific integrations and APIs you need; a vendor’s overall integration count does not establish that a particular connector fits your use case.
- Model migration and rollout. Ask how historical tickets, asset records, documentation, and other required data would be exported and transferred. Estimate agent deployment, configuration, training, parallel running, and the work needed to retire the old system.
- Review operational and security requirements. Check identity and access controls, data handling, audit evidence, backup, support coverage, escalation routes, onboarding, and any obligations tied to your sector or jurisdiction. Verify commitments in contract terms and hands-on evaluation, rather than relying on testimonials.
- Compare the same total-cost period. Request written quotes for the same product scope, endpoint counts, geography, contract term, onboarding, support, migration, integrations, training, and required add-ons. Include renewal assumptions and operational costs, not just the initial license figure.
Keep the scorecard, demo notes, and quote assumptions together. A platform that handles a high-frequency workflow with fewer manual steps may matter more to your team than a longer feature list, but the evaluation should show that difference rather than assume it.
Why public prices do not settle the comparison
ConnectWise directs prospects to request pricing and says its prices are tailored to business needs. NinjaOne publishes an endpoint-volume-based starting range on its MSP pricing page, while noting that region and products affect the price and that full pricing is not listed. Kaseya’s materials cited here do not establish a current comparable public quote. These figures and policies are not enough to rank the three vendors by cost.
Rank #2
| Published pricing information | How to interpret it |
|---|---|
| ConnectWise: request pricing; the vendor says pricing is customized to business needs. | Ask for a quote with your intended products, seats or endpoints, term, and implementation scope. |
| NinjaOne: its undated MSP pricing page, accessed in 2026, lists a starting point from $1.50 monthly at 10,000 endpoints to $3.75 at 50 or fewer endpoints. | The vendor says price varies by region and products purchased. Confirm current rates, what the amount applies to, billing terms, and the scope included in your quote. |
| Kaseya: a directly comparable current public price is not established in the available vendor materials. | Request a quote for the same scope and assumptions used with the other vendors. |
Compare written quotes on the same basis and time horizon. If one quote excludes migration, support, training, or an integration another includes, make those differences explicit before judging total cost.

Kaseya’s Autotask description says it has 300+ integrations. That is a vendor-stated count on an undated page accessed in 2026; it does not indicate whether the specific integrations your team needs are available or suitable. Verify those individually.
Rank #3
A 2026 ITPro article describes a Kaseya-commissioned Omdia study based on interviews with eight MSPs, eight internal IT teams using the platform, and five non-Kaseya customers. ITPro reports qualitative improvements in efficiency, costs, and service capacity for organizations using Datto RMM, Autotask PSA, and IT Glue, but the passage does not provide a result figure or full methodology. Omdia principal analyst Devan Adams said the findings came as organizations must “do more, with less.” This is commissioned interview research, not a controlled three-way comparison or proof that Kaseya outperforms ConnectWise or NinjaOne.
ConnectWise’s partner-program page publishes claims of 4x faster growth, 17% more profitability, and 10% higher MRR. These are vendor-published program claims; the cited page does not establish independent validation or methodology, and the figures should not be treated as expected results for an individual buyer. Likewise, ConnectWise’s 2025 ConnectWise Pro announcement does not by itself confirm current availability or the terms offered in your market.
Rank #4
Choose based on the work your team needs to do
- Consider Kaseya’s described combination if you are evaluating Datto RMM, Autotask, and IT Glue together. Test the connections and handoffs across monitoring, service management, billing, and documentation in your proposed configuration.
- Evaluate ConnectWise’s specific products and package if you need its PSA, RMM, remote-support, automation, or documentation capabilities. Confirm the current package structure and licensing rather than assuming every buyer receives an identical bundle.
- Test NinjaOne’s endpoint and PSA workflows if you are looking for connected endpoint management and service-management functions. Validate the depth of ticketing, billing, documentation, and integration support against your actual scenarios.
The defensible choice is the one that meets your required workflows, operational and security needs, and migration constraints at a clearly scoped total cost. The available product descriptions identify overlapping categories; they do not supply a neutral performance test or a comparable three-vendor migration-cost study.
