To delete your AdultFriendFinder account, sign in, go to Settings > Manage My Account > Close Account, choose Please Delete My Account, enter your password, and submit. If you only want a temporary break, choose Hide my profile instead. Paid members should check auto-renewal separately; account closure and renewal management appear as separate support topics.
Delete your account through Settings
- Sign in to AdultFriendFinder.
- Open Settings from your account handle or menu.
- Under Manage My Account, select Close Account.
- Choose Please Delete My Account.
- Enter your account password and submit to confirm.
These steps follow AdultFriendFinder’s official account-closing instructions. The menu can vary by device or account state, so the labels may not appear in exactly the same place for every member.

Hide your profile if you want a temporary break
Hide my profile is a separate option from deleting the account. It opens Privacy Preferences, where you can adjust profile visibility and other activity visibility, then save your changes. Hiding changes visibility; it is not confirmation that the account has been deleted. See AdultFriendFinder’s Privacy Preferences instructions for the available controls.

Check auto-renewal separately if you pay for membership
AdultFriendFinder’s contact form lists Delete Account and Turn off Auto Renewal as separate support topics. Because the cited instructions do not explain exactly how account closure affects an active paid membership, check your billing settings or ask support about renewal rather than assuming deletion stops it.

If the delete option is missing or does not work
- Open AdultFriendFinder’s Contact Us page.
- Select Delete Account as the support topic and follow the form’s instructions.
- If you have a paid membership, also check Turn off Auto Renewal or ask support to clarify your renewal status.
What deletion instructions do not confirm
The account-closing instructions explain how to submit a deletion request, but do not state when messages, billing records, backups, or other data are erased. They therefore do not establish that all account data disappears immediately after submission.
