To play games included with Prime, sign in to Luna with an eligible Amazon account, choose a game in the Luna Standard selection, accept the applicable terms, and stream it. To claim a downloadable PC offer, use Luna’s Claims page and follow that offer’s instructions. These are separate benefits: a streamed Luna Standard game is not a permanently owned download, and a PC offer is not necessarily playable through Luna’s cloud service.
First, know which kind of Prime game you want
Amazon Luna has two distinct routes that can be described as free Prime games. The included Luna Standard selection is a rotating catalog of cloud games for eligible members. You select a game in Luna and stream it while the benefit and title are available; you do not claim a permanent copy of each streamed game. Amazon says acceptance of Luna terms is required, and availability can change by time and location. See Amazon’s Luna terms.

Separately, the Claims page lists downloadable PC game offers. Each offer has its own redemption directions. Depending on the offer, you may need to download the game, use a publisher or third-party account, or link that account to Amazon. Do not assume a claim can be redeemed the same way as another offer—or that a claimable PC game can be streamed in Luna.

How to play games included with Prime
- Check regional eligibility. Luna cloud gaming is not available everywhere, and the eligible membership type varies by country. Amazon’s help page says Amazon Prime or Prime Video membership is needed for Luna Standard, with the specific requirement depending on location. Check Amazon’s membership eligibility information for your country.
- Open Luna on a supported device. Visit luna.amazon.com or open the Luna app on a supported device, then sign in using the Amazon account with the eligible membership. Amazon’s Luna getting-started help explains the available entry points.
- Choose an included game and start streaming. Browse the Luna Standard or included selection, choose a title, accept any applicable Luna terms, and start playing. The lineup can vary over time and by location, so a title you saw previously may no longer be included.
- On supported Fire TV setups in the U.S. or UK, try the Prime Video app. Amazon says its Prime Video app has a Games tab: open it, choose a title, and play with a controller or phone where supported. See the Luna getting-started help for current instructions.
Luna Standard is the Prime-included route; a paid Luna Premium subscription is not required to play the included selection. That does not make every game in Luna free or part of Prime: check the title’s label and availability in your account.

How to claim a downloadable PC game offer
- Open luna.amazon.com/claims from a PC, Mac, or mobile device.
- Choose an offer currently available to you. Offers and availability can differ by region and can change.
- Follow the instructions shown for that specific offer. They determine where the game is redeemed and whether you need a download, another launcher, or a linked publisher or third-party account.
Amazon’s Luna terms note that some PC games require a publisher or third-party account and may require linking it to Amazon. A claimable offer therefore does not necessarily mean instant cloud play in Luna.
Check that your device and connection can stream Luna
Amazon’s compatibility help lists these browser and device requirements; models and software support can change, so check the current compatibility page for exact device models and versions.

- TVs and tablets: compatible Fire TV devices on Fire OS 5 or Vega OS 1.1 or later, Fire Tablets from the 2018 release onward, and selected Samsung TV models.
Amazon Customer Service lists 10 Mbps as the minimum internet speed for Luna streaming (compatibility help accessed in 2026). Amazon recommends wired Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi for best performance. Meeting the minimum does not guarantee a smooth session; connection stability also matters.

Do you need a controller, and can you play on a TV?
A dedicated Luna Controller is optional. Many games work with a compatible Bluetooth controller, while some support mouse and keyboard. GameNight party titles can use a phone as the controller: scan the QR code shown on the TV. Amazon’s controller and phone-controller help describes supported options. Check the input instructions for the particular game, since phone control is not a universal replacement for a controller.

You can play on a TV if you have a supported setup, such as a compatible Fire TV device or selected Samsung TV model. For supported Fire TV devices in the U.S. and UK, Amazon also documents starting games from the Prime Video app’s Games tab. A new TV device is not necessary if you already have a supported phone, computer, tablet, or TV setup.

As of Amazon’s 2026 service-availability information, cloud-delivered Luna games are listed in 14 countries: the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Austria, Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Portugal, Belgium, and Luxembourg. Amazon says claimable PC offers are available in 200+ countries, a separate and broader availability statement that does not mean cloud gaming is available in those same countries. Check the live Luna availability and membership page and the Claims page for your region; Amazon’s terms say content and availability vary by location.
