Check the offer before you place the order
- Open the OnePlus store for your country and choose the intended product. Check its product page and cart for a sale price, included gift, or discount displayed for that market.
- Continue to checkout and review the offers or vouchers available for that specific order. Use the offer’s displayed eligibility and terms rather than assuming a code applies to every product.
- Apply the relevant voucher or gift code, if offered. OnePlus’s US checkout says, “You can only use one voucher per order” and “You can only use one gift code per order.” Those are separate limits; the page does not establish that a voucher and gift code can always be combined.
- Review any account-balance or token warning shown in checkout. OnePlus warns that extra value may not remain in the account if you continue, but what happens depends on the situation described in your checkout.
- Immediately before submitting the order, check the final payable amount and compare it with the earlier cart total. A code being entered is not proof it worked: the eligible discount or credit should be reflected in the amount due.
OnePlus’s US store lists student, graduate, and employee discount programs. That listing does not establish current discount amounts, verification requirements, or whether these offers combine with a sale or code. Check the current program terms and confirm the result in the final checkout total.

Understand the difference between a discount now and trade-in value later
A trade-in estimate is not necessarily an immediate reduction in the amount you pay. OnePlus describes two trade-in routes in its North American materials, and the choices presented at checkout determine which route is available for your order.

Get Paid Later
With the Get Paid Later route described in OnePlus’s US trade-in FAQ, you pay the full amount for the new phone first. After OnePlus receives and confirms the old device, it says it will provide the confirmed trade-in value and any applicable bonus. The FAQ instructs customers to ship the old device within 21 days of receiving the successful trade-in order email.
The FAQ also describes cases where OnePlus may issue a cash coupon, including when the confirmed trade-in value exceeds the purchase amount or changes after inspection. Under the cited US and Canada FAQ terms, that coupon is valid for 12 months, can be redeemed on OnePlus online stores or the OnePlus Store App in those countries, and is limited to one cash coupon per purchase. Check the current terms for your store before counting a future coupon as part of the value of your order.

- Market: Use the OnePlus store for the country where you are buying; offers and program rules can differ.
- Eligible offer: Confirm that the displayed sale price, voucher, code, or program applies to the product and order in your cart.
- Actual total: Make sure the reduction appears in the final amount due, not just in an entered-code field or an earlier estimate.
- Trade-in timing: Distinguish credit applied now from payment or a coupon issued after inspection. Do not subtract a later, conditional value from today’s payable amount.
- Follow-up requirements: For Get Paid Later, check the instructions and shipping deadline in the order email and current trade-in terms.
OnePlus’s official checkout and program pages do not establish a universal rule that sale prices, vouchers, gift codes, or student, graduate, and employee discounts stack. Treat the final total displayed for your order as the check, and do not assume a current promotional price or combination that the checkout does not show.
