Match the set to the recipient
Choose 77092 for a Great Deku Tree fan or a two-game connection
The tree set is the more flexible choice if you know the recipient loves the Great Deku Tree but do not know which game they favor: its two build options represent versions from Ocarina of Time and Breath of the Wild. It also offers four minifigures, including three versions of Link. That makes it a strong fit for someone who enjoys a character-focused display as well as the build itself.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteOne important gift-day detail: “2-in-1” means the tree can be rebuilt from one version into the other. The two versions cannot be assembled simultaneously. If the recipient wants to display both designs at once, this set does not provide two complete trees.

Choose 77093 for a fan of the final battle
Pick 77093 when the recipient’s attachment is specifically to the Ocarina of Time finale and its cast. It puts Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf together with a brick-built Ganon in a ruined-castle scene, with Navi also represented as a build. Its 1,003 pieces and lower listed US price make it the more approachable choice by piece count and cost, although piece count alone does not determine how long someone will take to build it.
LEGO Design Manager Wes Talbot said the team wanted Ganondorf represented to complete the main-character cast. He also described the game mechanic that inspired the set’s removable debris panels and hidden Recovery Hearts: Ganon could be lured into rubble, which he broke with his swords. Those details make the battle scene a particularly apt gift for someone who remembers that encounter.

- Build this LEGO set
Use budget and display preference as the next filters
- Set a real spending limit. The US LEGO listings checked showed $299.99 for 77092 and $129.99 for 77093. The difference is substantial, so choose 77092 only if its tree theme, alternate build, and larger centerpiece appeal justify the higher spend for this recipient.
- Consider what they like to display. 77092 centers on one large character in one of two versions; 77093 presents a specific battle scene. The available product details do not establish physical dimensions, so do not assume either will fit a particular shelf without checking the current listing.
- Think about build expectations. Both sets are marked 18+ by LEGO. That is the listed age rating; it is not evidence about a particular recipient’s building experience or how difficult they will find the model.
- Check stock and price close to purchase. 77092 was sold out on the LEGO US page when checked, while 77093 was listed at $129.99. These are time-sensitive page observations, not a promise of current availability or price.
A simple decision path before you buy
- Identify the game or character they care about most. If it is the Great Deku Tree or either of the two games represented by its alternate builds, lean toward 77092. If it is the Ocarina of Time final battle, lean toward 77093.
- Decide whether they want a centerpiece or a scene. The tree is the centerpiece-oriented option; the final battle is the character-and-action scene.
- Compare the listed prices with your budget. Use the LEGO US page at the time of purchase rather than relying on an older price.
- Confirm the build format fits the gift. For 77092, make sure the recipient will be happy choosing one tree version to display at a time. For either set, treat the 18+ rating as LEGO’s product rating, not a personal assessment of the recipient.
- Verify availability and seller details. Check the retailer’s own current listing. LEGO’s stock status does not tell you whether another shop has the set or what it charges.
At a glance: which set should you choose?
- Choose Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 (77092) for a Great Deku Tree devotee, a fan who appreciates its connection to both Ocarina of Time and Breath of the Wild, or someone who wants the larger centerpiece and alternate build.
- Choose The Final Battle (77093) for an Ocarina of Time fan who wants Link, Zelda, Ganondorf, Ganon, and a recognizable climactic scene in one display.
- If you are unsure about game preference, 77092 has the broader two-game connection; if you are unsure about the recipient’s willingness to spend more, compare the live prices and consider the lower-listed 77093.
