PC Slower Than It Used to Be?

Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteTo choose a G-SHOCK that suits you, compare the exact model’s case length, width, thickness and weight, then consider its shape and band. Family names alone do not guarantee the same dimensions, and there is no universal wrist-circumference-to-case-size rule. Casio’s published specifications provide a useful starting point; trying the watch on can help you judge its proportions and comfort.
Which dimensions matter when choosing a G-SHOCK?
- Case width and length: These measurements help you compare the watch’s footprint and how much of your wrist it may cover. A wider case can look more prominent, but the effect depends on the case shape and your preference.
- Thickness: This affects the watch’s side profile and how high it sits above your wrist.
- Weight: A heavier watch may feel more substantial, while a lighter one may feel less noticeable. Neither is a universal measure of comfort.
- Shape and band: Two watches with similar measurements can wear differently. Check the exact model and band variant, not just the collection name.
Use the manufacturer’s figures to narrow your options, not as a guarantee of fit. Case measurements alone do not establish how a watch will feel on a particular wrist.

Compare exact models, not just series names
Casio’s published specifications show why it is worth checking the full reference. The following figures are manufacturer specifications for the named models; they are not independent fit measurements.

| GW-M5610-1 | 46.7 × 43.2 × 12.7 mm | 51.7 g | Although it is shorter and thinner than the DW-5600BCE-1, it is slightly wider. |
| GA-2100-1A1ER | 48.5 × 45.4 × 11.8 mm | 51 g | It is slightly shorter and thinner than the DW-5600BCE-1, but its greater width may give it more wrist coverage. |
Casio’s 5600-series comparison also reports dimensional differences among variants, so do not assume every model in a family has identical sizing. Check the specifications for the exact reference you plan to buy: DW-5600BCE-1, GW-M5610-1, GA-2100-1A1ER, and Casio’s 5600-series comparison.

What are the smaller and larger G-SHOCK examples?
Casio’s official size guide gives examples across different designs. They illustrate the range in the guide, not a complete ranking of every G-SHOCK model.
| Model or comparison | Published size detail | How to use it |
|---|---|---|
| GMA-S2100 | 46.2 × 42.9 × 11.2 mm | A compact-family example from Casio’s guide. |
| GMA-P2100 compared with standard GMA-S2100 models | 2.7 mm narrower; band about 10 mm shorter | Check both case and band details when comparing related variants. |
| GWG-B1000 | 61.2 × 54.4 × 16.1 mm | A large example in Casio’s guide. |
| King GX-56 | 55.5 × 53.6 × 17.5 mm | Another large example; it is thicker than the GWG-B1000 despite its smaller listed length and width. |
These examples make clear that length and width do not tell the whole story: thickness can differ substantially, and a shorter or narrower case is not necessarily thinner. For details, see Casio’s G-SHOCK size guide.

How to assess proportions before buying
- Find the full model reference. Confirm the exact variant on the product listing, including its suffix, rather than relying on a family name or product photo.
- Record the published measurements. Compare length, width and thickness, and note the weight if Casio lists it. Keep the measurements in the same order when comparing models.
- Consider the shape and band. Think about how much case coverage you want, how high the watch may sit, and whether the specific band length and design suit you.
- Use visualization as a guide. Casio’s size guide offers a virtual try-on workflow for visualizing a selected model. Treat the result as a visual aid, not a guarantee of comfort.
- Try it on if you can. An in-person try-on lets you judge the actual wrist coverage, side profile and feel before purchasing.
Is there a wrist-size formula for G-SHOCK?
The available Casio guidance does not establish a universal wrist-circumference threshold for a given case size. A specification can tell you how large the watch is, but it cannot determine everyone’s preferred look or comfort. Use the figures to shortlist models, then rely on visualization or an actual try-on to assess the fit you want.
