Pocket Gamer’s guide, updated September 2, 2026, describes six classes in detail. Its tier list is an editorial opinion, not an official ranking or a statistical comparison. The role descriptions are more useful than the tier letters when deciding what suits you.

The tier letters summarize one publisher’s assessment, not proof that a class is best for every player or activity. Use them as a rough prompt for comparison, then decide based on the role you actually want. The same Pocket Gamer page says six classes are available but includes Samurai in its tier table despite describing six classes in detail. Use species traits to complement your class
Species can add a secondary advantage to a class rather than replace its basic combat role. Pocket Gamer’s guide reports 12 species and gives this tier ordering: S — Seraphim, Human, Elf, Slime, Dullahan; A — Vampire, Orc, Half-Golem, Ailuran; B — Infernim, Bunny, Ghoul; C — Amphibu, Chiroptran. Examples of traits the guide highlights
- Seraphim: +2.5% fire resistance and +1 Luck.
- Human: increased damage against undead and an active that converts 50 hunger into stamina.
- Elf: reduced cooldowns and an invisibility active.
- Slime: passive HP recovery from collected blobs.
These examples point to a practical approach: compare the trait with the activity and role you have in mind. Human’s reported undead damage bonus, for example, may be relevant if that advantage suits your intended play, but it does not establish that Human is the best species for every class. [Pocket Gamer]
Verify the current species roster before spending resources
The reported total and rankings are not consistent across the available references. A community-wiki search result lists 14 species and different rates, while another result shows a different race table; those pages could not be opened and are not authoritative. The current total, full roster, drop chances, and reroll costs therefore are not established here. Check class branches in the game before committing
A search result for a community classes wiki says there are six base classes and branches at level 30, and names Blademaster, Knight, Berserker, Sharpshooter, Beast Tamer, Assassin, Ninja, Ashura, Monk, Warlock, Sorcerer, and Cleric. The underlying page could not be accessed, and these names do not line up cleanly with every class label in Pocket Gamer’s guide. - Choose your preferred range and role. Start with Archer or Magician for ranged damage, Warrior, Thief, or Striker for melee, or Priest if you want to heal a group.
- Compare the trade-offs within that role. For example, Warrior emphasizes durability and control, while Thief emphasizes speed and carries greater fragility according to the guide.
- Look at species as a complement. Consider whether a reported trait supports your preferred activity, rather than choosing only by a tier label.
- Confirm current options and costs in-game. Species counts, rates, reroll costs, and class branches are not reliably established across the available references.
