How should you store sprinkles?
King Arthur Baking recipe developer David Turner advises storing sprinkles in a cool, dark, dry place for maximum shelf life (King Arthur Baking, August 20, 2025). The same article discusses moisture and oven heat softening sprinkles and causing color bleed in dough or batter; that observation concerns baking, not how sprinkles behave on ice cream.
