Choose a print size in Google Photos, adjust the crop to protect the subject, then inspect the order preview before checkout. The sizes offered depend on your country and whether you choose delivery or pickup. Google also warns that a low-resolution photo can still be printed but may look blurry.
Choose a size that suits both the photo and where it will go
Start with two checks: whether the print’s shape keeps the framing you want, and whether the finished print will suit the space. A small print may work well for an album or desk frame; a larger one may suit a wall, but only if the photo remains acceptably sharp.

There is no universal best size or pixel threshold for each size in Google’s guidance. Use the options actually shown in your order and judge the crop and image quality in the preview. Google says low-resolution images may print blurry, even though you can proceed with the order. Google Photos print-order help
Start an order and change the print size
- In Google Photos on a computer or Android device, select one or more photos, or start from an album, and begin a photo print order. See Google’s instructions for computer or Android.
- Review the order preview. Google’s flow lets you edit photos and change the quantity or size before ordering.
- Use the size control shown with the photo, choose one of the available sizes, and apply it. The menu can vary by country and by delivery or pickup route.
- Edit or crop the image if needed. Keep the subject and important details inside the print’s frame; do not assume the entire original photo will fit unchanged.
- Inspect the preview again at the chosen size before checkout. If Google flags a photo as low-resolution, consider a smaller print rather than assuming a large one will look sharp.
Check which sizes are offered in your country
Google’s listed menus differ by region. These are the sizes shown on its product-information pages; the current order flow is the practical check for what is available to you.

For the official regional details, check Google’s pages for the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, or Germany. Delivery times and maximum quantities vary by country and size, so check the relevant page if those details matter to your order.
In the United States, Google lists home-delivery prints as matte. Pickup prints are glossy at CVS and Walgreens, and matte at Walmart. The US page also gives size-specific maximum quantities for bulk orders.

Crop the photo, then judge the preview
A print’s shape may not match the original image’s framing. If the preview cuts off a face, a hand, or another important detail, adjust the crop or choose a different size. Recheck the framing after every size change because the visible area can change with the print shape.
For canvas, inspect the preview with the wrap option you intend to use. Google notes that a cropped photo can appear different depending on the wrap choice; its documented gallery-style wrap is 1.5 inches (3.81 cm). Google’s canvas-print instructions

What to do if the print may look blurry
Google’s warning means a photo can be ordered despite low resolution, but it may produce a blurry print. For canvas, Google says the result may look grainy. The cited help pages do not give universal pixel requirements tied to each print size, so a warning-free preview is not a promise of sharpness at every size. If the preview looks uncertain, choose a smaller available size or a different photo.

If you want multiple photos in a bound book rather than individual prints, Google’s book flow requires at least 20 photos. Above 140 photos, some are combined into a collage on one page.
