Choose the Galaxy S26 for the smallest, lightest phone; the S26+ for a larger QHD+ screen and bigger listed battery without moving to Ultra; or the S26 Ultra if you want its extra camera hardware, S Pen support or largest display. The right pick depends on which differences matter in everyday use—not simply which model has the highest specifications.

Which Galaxy S26 model fits your priorities?
Choose the Galaxy S26 for easier handling
At 6.3 inches and 167 g, the S26 is the smallest and lightest of the three. It is the natural starting point if a less bulky phone matters more than having a QHD+ screen. Its display is FHD+, while the S26+ and Ultra are QHD+.

The S26 also has the lowest US launch starting price of the three. That does not establish which model is the best buy today: current prices and promotions can differ from launch pricing.
Choose the Galaxy S26+ for a bigger QHD+ screen without Ultra
The S26+ moves to a 6.7-inch QHD+ display and a listed 4,900 mAh battery, while weighing 190 g. It is the middle option if the base model’s screen feels too small but you do not need the Ultra’s camera configuration or S Pen.

Its listed rear camera setup matches the S26’s: a 50 MP wide camera, 12 MP ultra-wide camera and 10 MP 3x telephoto camera. The specifications alone do not show that either phone takes better photos.
Choose the Galaxy S26 Ultra for its specific extras
The Ultra is the largest and heaviest model, at 6.9 inches and 214 g. Its distinguishing hardware includes a 200 MP wide camera, a 50 MP ultra-wide camera and an additional 50 MP telephoto camera; Samsung lists up to 100x Space Zoom. These are Samsung’s stated specifications, not a comparative image-quality result.

It is also the only S26 model with S Pen support. Samsung says the S26 Ultra’s S Pen does not support BLE or Air Actions, so do not assume it has those remote-control features. Check Samsung’s model comparison for its S Pen details.
What to know about battery, charging and performance claims

Processor choice is market-dependent. Samsung’s global launch specifications list Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy and Exynos 2600 options, noting that processor type may vary by device and market. Storage and availability can also vary by country, carrier or region; confirm the specifications for the exact local model before buying.

Check local price and fit before you buy
Samsung’s US launch announcement listed starting prices of $899.99 for S26, $1,099.99 for S26+ and $1,299.99 for S26 Ultra, with general availability in the United States beginning March 11, 2026. Those are launch figures, not current prices. Compare current offers in your market and make sure the extra cost buys a feature you will use.

- 6.8" Dynamic AMOLED 2X QHD+ display with 1–120 Hz adaptive refresh rate, up to ~1750 nits brightness, HDR10+ support, and ultra-smooth responsiveness for gaming and scrolling.
Cases are model-specific: the phones have different dimensions, so choose one explicitly made for S26, S26+ or S26 Ultra rather than assuming a case fits across the range. Verify compatibility for any case, screen protector or charging accessory against the exact model and regional version.
