Use the current official membership page and the catalogue shown for your location as the final authority. Episode counts and availability can change, and an app-store listing or gift page may show a different price from direct web checkout.
Choose by the programmes you want to watch
Animation-first viewers
Warhammer+ currently advertises more than 75 animation episodes across 15 series. That is a publisher-reported count and can change as episodes are added, removed or made available in different regions. Treat it as an indication of the size of the animation offering, not a promise that every listed episode is playable in your country.
Before subscribing, write down the exact series, characters or setting you care about. Search the current Warhammer+ catalogue for those titles rather than relying on a banner that says “animations.” If only one show interests you, check whether its episodes are available now and whether the service identifies them as included with your membership. A large total episode count does not help if the specific series you want is absent or region-restricted.

The official descriptions include painting masterclasses and building-and-painting shows. These are aimed at viewers who want demonstrations of assembly, preparation, colour application and related hobby techniques from the Warhammer studio ecosystem.
You do not need paints, miniatures or other supplies merely to access the programmes. Supplies become relevant only if you intend to follow along. Decide whether you prefer structured demonstrations, inspiration for a project already on your desk, or general hobby entertainment. If you regularly paint, the ability to return to several classes may make a full-year membership more useful than a short subscription.
Check the current programme descriptions for the techniques and armies represented. A service can contain many painting episodes without covering the scale, faction or skill level you need.

Lore and setting viewers
Warhammer+ describes lore explainers, lore-focused programmes and interviews. This suits viewers who want background on factions, worlds, characters and the setting rather than battle footage alone.
Use the catalogue search or programme descriptions to verify that your preferred setting appears. Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar content do not necessarily have the same balance of shows, so do not assume that a general “Warhammer” label guarantees equal coverage. If you want a particular faction or historical period, confirm it before paying for an annual term.
Battle-report and gaming viewers
Battle reports are explicitly listed among the available programme types. They can be useful if you enjoy seeing games played, army choices discussed and tabletop decisions explained in context.
The membership also includes premium access to the Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar apps. That matters if you use those apps for rules, reference material or army-related tools. Video and app value should be assessed together: someone who watches battle reports but never uses the apps should not count the app access as automatic savings, while an active app user may reasonably treat it as a major part of the bundle.

If you move between animation, painting, lore and battle reports, Warhammer+ is easier to evaluate as an all-purpose membership. The breadth reduces the risk that you exhaust one category quickly, although the value still depends on how often you return.
Make a short list of the activities you will actually perform in a typical month: watch a show, use an app, read Vault material or work toward an annual reward. Count only habits you are likely to maintain, not every feature listed on the sales page.

3. Decide whether the bundle features are real benefits

This is an announced plan, not a guarantee that every item will arrive on a particular date or be available in every country.
