What the three requested features actually mean
A doorbell can show a visitor’s face while a second lens looks down at the threshold. A light can make that view usable after dark. A chime can make the alert audible indoors. Those descriptions sound straightforward, but manufacturers use different hardware and bundle terms for each one.
Dual cameras: forward view plus doorstep view
The useful arrangement is one camera aimed outward at a person and another aimed downward at the floor immediately in front of the door. The downward view can reveal a parcel that is below the forward camera’s field of view. eufy describes this visitor-and-ground arrangement for the E340, and Wyze describes one camera for visitors and another for packages on the Duo Cam Doorbell.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
“Dual camera” does not by itself establish the viewing angle, overlap, image quality or package-detection performance. Check sample views and the installation diagram for the exact model. A second lens pointed only slightly differently may add less doorstep coverage than a genuinely downward-facing camera.
Spotlight: illumination hardware, not just a bright image
Look for a physical white-light source built into the doorbell and find out when it operates. Some products use motion-activated lights; others allow manual control or combine illumination with color night vision. eufy calls the E340’s arrangement a dual-light system and claims night viewing up to 16 ft (5 m). TP-Link describes built-in spotlights on the Tapo D225 for full-color night vision.
“Dual-light system,” “spotlight” and “color night vision” are not interchangeable specifications. Infrared LEDs can produce a monochrome image without visibly lighting the scene, while a white-light LED can illuminate faces and packages but may be noticeable to visitors. Confirm whether the light is always on, motion-triggered, adjustable and visible from the street.

In a buying guide, an included chime should mean that an indoor sounder is supplied in the box, usually as a separate plug-in receiver. That is different from a doorbell that can trigger an existing mechanical chime, a voice assistant, or an optional wireless receiver.
Wyze says a Wi-Fi Chime is included with Duo Cam Doorbell, and Philips lists “Chime included” for its 7000 Series. The E340 can work with an existing mechanical chime, selected eufy hubs and chimes, Alexa devices or Google voice-assistant devices, but the standard configuration does not include the MiniBase Chime. TP-Link lists an included chime with the D225. Confirm the package list for your regional model before paying.
Is there a verified all-in-one match?
The available manufacturer evidence does not verify one product that combines dual cameras, a built-in spotlight and an included indoor chime. The closest choices depend on which feature you refuse to compromise on.

Start with the view you need at the door
Measure the threshold and package area
Stand where a visitor would stand and note where a parcel is normally placed. A camera mounted high on a narrow door may need a steep downward view to show the floor. A recessed doorway, porch ceiling or side wall can block the lower image. Use the mounting template to check that the downward lens will not point into a wall, railing or step.
Check how the two images are presented
Some apps show two separate panes; others combine the views into one screen or switch between them. Verify that both streams can be viewed during a live call and that recorded clips retain the relevant angle. If package evidence matters, make sure the lower camera covers the area beyond the door swing rather than only the doorstep immediately under the unit.
Do not infer detection from lens count
A second camera may improve visibility without guaranteeing package alerts, facial recognition or accurate motion zones. Treat those as separate functions. Read the model’s detection and notification specifications and check whether any feature requires a subscription.
Evaluate the spotlight and night behavior
Identify the light source
- White spotlight or floodlight: visibly illuminates the scene and can support color video.
- Dual-light system: a manufacturer term that may combine more than one lamp or lamp position; confirm the actual layout.
- Infrared illumination: usually supports black-and-white night footage and is not a visible spotlight.
- Color night vision without a strong lamp: may rely on a sensitive sensor and ambient light; do not assume it lights a dark porch.
Check activation and control
Find out whether motion turns the light on, whether the light can be disabled, how long it stays on and whether brightness is adjustable. A motion light that activates for every passing car may be distracting. A manually controlled light may be useful for checking a parcel but less helpful when nobody is watching the app.

Interpret distance claims carefully
eufy’s E340 listing claims clear night viewing up to 16 ft (5 m) with its dual-light system. Uniview’s ED-525B-WB datasheet states a 2 m white-light distance. These are manufacturer claims under unspecified conditions, not a guarantee for every porch. Wall color, rain, lens angle and ambient street lighting can materially change the result.

Work out what “chime included” will do in your home
Separate receiver or sound from the doorbell
An included plug-in chime normally lets you place the sounder in a hallway or living area. A sounder integrated into the outdoor unit may be hard to hear through walls. Ask where the sound comes from, how many tones and volume levels are available, and whether additional receivers can be added.
Existing mechanical chime
Compatibility with a wired mechanical chime is not the same as receiving a new chime in the box. Confirm the required transformer, wiring terminals, bypass settings and supported chime types. The E340 supports an existing mechanical chime, but its US specifications require 8–24 V and more than 10 VA for wired installation and still require the battery to remain installed.
Wireless chime and voice assistants
A wireless chime may depend on the doorbell’s Wi-Fi or a separate hub. A voice assistant can announce a ring, but it is not a dedicated chime and may require an account, internet access or a compatible speaker. The E340 can use selected eufy chimes and hubs, Alexa devices or Google voice-assistant devices; older eufy chime models are excluded from the stated compatibility list.
Offline behavior
Ask whether the indoor receiver rings when the internet is down, when the doorbell is operating locally, and when the battery is low. A cloud notification arriving on a phone is not an adequate substitute if the primary requirement is an audible indoor alert.
Choose the power arrangement before comparing cameras
Battery-only installation
Battery power avoids transformer work and is useful for renters or doors without existing wiring. Trade-offs include charging intervals, cold-weather battery performance and possible limits on continuous recording. Check whether the camera sleeps between events and whether the spotlight reduces runtime.
Hardwired installation
Wiring can provide a stable supply and, on some models, enables continuous recording. It does not automatically remove the battery: eufy states that the E340 battery must remain installed in wired mode. Confirm voltage, transformer capacity and whether a bypass module is required before connecting any conductors.

- Please Note: To reach 10Gbps speed, keep the cable under 3.3 ft. For USB A Male to USB C adapters, try flipping the USB C connector. USB C Male to USB A adapters support bidirectional 10Gbps transfer within 3.3 ft
Hybrid designs
A hybrid doorbell can be wired while retaining a rechargeable battery as backup or part of the operating circuit. Read the manual’s wiring diagram rather than assuming that “wired” means battery-free. Turn off power at the breaker and use a qualified installer if the existing transformer or wiring condition is uncertain.

Storage affects both privacy and recurring cost. The E340 lists 8 GB of onboard storage. The Tapo D225 supports microSD cards up to 512 GB and states that 24/7 recording is available in hardwired mode. Wyze Duo Cam Doorbell supports microSD-based local recording. These are stated capabilities, not independent endurance tests.
- Local storage: check whether the card or memory is included, encrypted, removable and accessible if the internet is unavailable.
- Cloud recording: identify the free retention period, subscription requirement, clip length and whether dual-camera footage is stored for both views.
- Continuous recording: verify power requirements, overwrite behavior and the storage capacity needed for your chosen resolution.
- Event recording: check how long a clip lasts, whether pre-event footage is captured and whether spotlight activation creates separate events.
Do not treat a larger storage number as proof of better evidence. A downward view, reliable motion zones and readable night footage matter more than capacity alone.
A practical buying procedure
- Write the non-negotiables. Mark whether you require two simultaneous views, visible white-light illumination, an included receiver, local recording, existing-chime support or battery operation.
- Measure the installation. Record door height, available mounting width, threshold distance, nearest outlet, existing transformer rating and Wi-Fi signal at the door.
- Inspect the exact model page and box list. Match the model number, region and bundle. “Chime compatible” is not “chime included.”
- Study camera diagrams and sample footage. Confirm that one view covers faces and the other covers the parcel drop zone.
- Verify lighting behavior. Look for a named spotlight or dual-light specification, activation rules, claimed range and color-video behavior.
- Confirm power requirements. For wired installation, match voltage and transformer VA. For battery installation, check charging method, expected maintenance and whether the light or continuous recording changes runtime.
- Choose recording storage. Decide between onboard memory, microSD, cloud recording or a combination, then check any subscription and retention limits.
- Check ecosystem dependencies. Confirm the app, Wi-Fi band, hub requirements, voice-assistant support and compatibility with your existing chime.
- Verify offline operation and returns. Read the manual for local alerts, chime behavior during an outage and the process for replacing or charging the battery.
Which documented option fits each priority?
You prioritize two views and an included indoor chime
Wyze Duo Cam Doorbell is the clearest documented combination: visitor-and-package cameras plus an included Wi-Fi Chime. The cited announcement does not establish a spotlight, so treat nighttime illumination as unconfirmed and verify the current package if a light is essential.
You prioritize two views and active night lighting
eufy Video Doorbell E340 documents two cameras and a dual-light color-night system with a claimed 16 ft (5 m) viewing distance. Its standard configuration is not a verified included-chime match; plan on an existing compatible chime or a separately purchased option.
You prioritize a spotlight and an included chime
TP-Link Tapo D225 documents built-in spotlights, color night vision and an included chime. The cited listing does not describe dual cameras, so it should not be selected on the assumption that it provides a separate package view.
Best Value

You want dual cameras and an included chime but can accept uncertain lighting
Philips 7000 Series DDA270X02103/37 lists dual cameras, a rechargeable battery and a chime included. The cited page does not establish a spotlight or detail the chime’s form, so verify the regional contents and night-light hardware.
You need a visitor and ground view with flexible chime support
Uniview ED-525B-WB documents a visitor camera, a downward ground view, IR and white-light illumination, plus wireless or mechanical chime support. The datasheet states 2 m of white-light distance but does not establish that a chime is included or that the light is a named spotlight.
Common buying mistakes and fixes
Mistake: treating every second lens as a package camera
Fix: inspect the downward angle, mounting height and actual threshold coverage. Ask whether the lower view remains available in live view and recordings.
Recommended Free Tools
Mistake: assuming color night vision means a spotlight
Fix: look for a physical white-light specification, activation behavior and stated range. Infrared or sensor-based color enhancement may not illuminate the porch.
Mistake: confusing chime compatibility with an included chime
Fix: read the “in the box” list and identify the receiver model. Check whether a bundle shown in a store photo is optional.
Mistake: assuming wired operation removes the battery
Fix: follow the installation manual. The E340, for example, requires its battery to remain installed in wired mode.
Mistake: buying a regional bundle without checking the model number
Fix: match the full model identifier, country listing, voltage requirements and compatibility table. Chime contents and supported accessories can vary by region.
Mistake: overlooking storage limits
Fix: determine whether local storage is onboard or microSD, whether 24/7 recording needs hardwiring, and how clips are retained when storage fills.
Installation and first-day verification checklist
- Confirm the mounting plate is level and the lower camera is not blocked by trim, a storm door or a porch ceiling.
- Walk up to the door in daylight and at night to verify that the forward view captures faces and the lower view captures the normal package location.
- Trigger motion from several directions and check whether the light activates as expected.
- Press the doorbell with the phone locked and the internet connection temporarily unavailable, if the manual describes local operation; verify the indoor chime behavior.
- Test the existing mechanical chime, if used, without exceeding the stated transformer voltage and VA.
- Insert and format the approved microSD card, or confirm onboard storage and cloud retention in the app.
- Set motion zones to exclude roads, trees and neighboring property where possible.
- Check that both camera views appear in recorded events and that timestamps are correct.
Bottom-line decision
Buy according to the feature you cannot retrofit. A separate compatible chime may solve an indoor-audio gap, while a missing downward camera or missing white-light hardware is harder to add later. If all three requirements are mandatory, treat the products documented here as partial matches and verify a current model’s exact box contents, camera layout, spotlight behavior, wiring requirements and storage terms before purchase. No complete three-feature combination is established by the cited manufacturer information.
