As of October 7, 2026, Samsung hasn’t officially confirmed the phone or its finishes in the sources checked. What exists is a leak, and the useful move now is to learn how to judge real finishes when Samsung publishes them for your market.
What is confirmed and what is rumor
Confirmed: nothing about S27 Ultra colors
Samsung has not announced the S27 Ultra’s color lineup. Any list you see today is unofficial, and none of it is an available finish.

Rumor: black, blue, light pink and white
An Android Central report published October 5, 2026 attributes the phrase “Black, Blue, Light Pink, White” to leaker Ice Universe as the alleged base-color lineup. The report itself says Samsung has not confirmed the phone or the colors, that the exact shades are unknown, and that more colors are possible.
Don’t read “Blue” as a repeat of the S26 Ultra’s Sky Blue, or “Light Pink” as a repeat of Pink Gold. Those are names from a different phone, and the leak gives no shade information.

What the S26 Ultra tells you about how Samsung sells colors
Samsung’s U.S. Galaxy S26 Ultra page lists Cobalt Violet, Sky Blue, Black and White. Silver Shadow and Pink Gold are sold only through Samsung.com or Samsung Experience Stores. Samsung’s Global Newsroom launch announcement describes the same split of four shared colors and two Samsung.com exclusives. Both say availability can vary by country or carrier.
This is context, not a prediction for the S27 Ultra. But it suggests two things to check when the real lineup appears:
- Whether the color you like is sold in your country, not just in the U.S. or Korea.
- Whether it is available through your carrier or retailer, or only through Samsung’s own store.
A framework for choosing once official colors appear
These are practical decision prompts, not measured findings. No data was found on long-term satisfaction with phone colors, or on color-specific resale value, so don’t assume any finish ages better or sells for more.

1. Judge the shade and finish, not the name
Marketing names such as “Sky Blue” or “Light Pink” can describe very different looks. Use Samsung’s official images, then reviewers’ photos in varied light. If you can, see the phone in person. Check whether the finish looks matte or glossy, and whether it looks different indoors, outdoors and under warm lamps.
2. Ask how loud the color is
A vivid or pastel color can be fun on day one and tiring by month twelve, or the reverse. Think about the things you’ve kept using for years, like clothes, bags and watches. If those are mostly neutral, a neutral phone probably fits. If you already like bolder colors, a pastel phone may suit you. Only you can judge this.
3. Count how much of the color a case will cover
If you’ll use an opaque case, the rear color matters far less than the frame, camera ring and any visible edges. If you prefer a clear case or none, the back color is on show every day, so it deserves more weight. Model-specific cases for the S27 Ultra can’t be verified until the phone is released.

4. Confirm availability in your market
Choose from colors you can actually buy locally, through your carrier or preferred store. An online-only exclusive may mean waiting for delivery and not seeing it first.

5. Be wary of trade-offs you can’t undo
Phones are rarely repainted, but cases, skins and wraps can change the look cheaply. That’s a reason to favor the color you’ll like bare, and to treat a case as a way to adjust the look later.
