Choose a service that explicitly supports continuous cloud playback of prerecorded videos—not merely scheduled prerecorded events. For a YouTube channel that should keep streaming while your computer is off, StreamNeo is the first option to consider: it loops uploaded videos from the cloud, supports uploads up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and offers a free first day. Gyre and OneStream Live also document cloud workflows for continuous prerecorded streams, while OneStream’s 24/7 mode has important plan and duration limits.
Start with the job you need the service to do
“Prerecorded live” can mean a single scheduled event, a playlist that runs for hours, or a channel that loops continuously without someone operating a computer. These are different workflows. Before comparing prices, confirm that a service explicitly supports unattended, continuous playlist playback to YouTube Live.
- One scheduled event: useful when you want to present a prerecorded video at a set time, but not proof of an always-on channel.
- Continuous cloud loop: the service hosts and plays uploaded recordings or playlists, so your local computer does not have to remain on.
- Hardware playback: a dedicated encoder can schedule prerecorded media without a desktop computer, but it is equipment you operate rather than a cloud service.
StreamNeo is a YouTube-only cloud service for uploaded videos: add a YouTube stream key once, then go live with a recording or playlist. It does not stream from a camera. See StreamNeo for its service details.
Check YouTube eligibility and content rights first
Before choosing a provider, make sure the channel itself is allowed to go live. YouTube’s live-streaming help says a channel must be verified and must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days. A channel-level restriction cannot be bypassed by switching to another channel.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
YouTube states: “All content in live streams must adhere to our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.” Use videos and audio you have the right to broadcast, and follow YouTube’s policies. A service that can loop a video does not make that video eligible to stream or exempt the channel from enforcement.
YouTube’s help also specifies limits of 10 active streams per channel and 3 active streams per stream key. If you plan multiple simultaneous broadcasts, account for those platform limits as well as the provider’s own stream limit.
Compare the options by fit, not by a feature label
These choices are not interchangeable: some document a continuous cloud loop, some focus on scheduled prerecorded events, and one is a physical encoder. Compare the workflow that is actually established in each provider’s documentation.

| Option | Documented fit | Constraints to weigh |
|---|---|---|
| StreamNeo | Cloud looping of uploaded recordings or playlists to YouTube; one stream per slot, up to 4K 60fps as uploaded. | YouTube only. Each slot includes 10 GB storage, pooled across active slots; pricing is per slot and varies by billing length. |
| Gyre | Cloud uploads, playlists, scheduling, and continuous looping of prerecorded video. | Published tiers vary in storage, simultaneous streams, resolution, and scheduler access. Check current plan details and supported destinations before choosing. |
| OneStream Live | Prerecorded scheduling, ordered playlists, and continuous YouTube looping. | 24/7 mode requires Enterprise, is YouTube-only, and each scheduled run can last no more than 30 days. Uploads can come from a device, OneStream storage, or cloud storage. |
| StreamYard | Prerecorded streams and production tools for scheduled content. | Its pricing page lists prerecorded-stream allowances of 2 hours on Core and 4 hours on Advanced. The available information does not establish it as an unattended 24/7 looping service. |
| AJA HELO Plus | Hardware encoder; YouTube’s encoder directory says PlayToStream can schedule prerecorded media directly to YouTube Live without a computer. | It is hardware, not cloud hosting. Check the device’s exact workflow, acquisition cost, setup, and availability before buying. |
For direct comparison, consult the providers’ documentation: Gyre, OneStream Live, and StreamYard pricing. YouTube’s encoder directory lists ecosystem tools, including the AJA HELO Plus. Provider features and plan limits can change, so confirm the current terms before purchase.

Ask each provider the same operational questions. A “live streaming” label alone does not tell you whether the service will suit an unattended channel.
- Loop behavior: Does it continuously repeat a playlist, or only play a scheduled event once?
- Destinations: Does the service support YouTube Live specifically, and is streaming to other platforms relevant to your workflow?
- Capacity: How many concurrent streams, what resolution and frame rate, and how much storage are included in the plan you would actually buy?
- Playlist control: Can you reorder or replace videos while a broadcast is running? What happens to playback when you make a change?
- Uploads: Can you upload from a device or cloud storage? Does the provider convert or re-encode files, and will the output match your source?
- Scheduling and duration: Can you schedule ahead, and is there a maximum length for a run or event?
- Recovery: What happens if YouTube disconnects the stream? Is restart automatic, and what action—if any—must you take?
- Cost: Is billing per stream, slot, hour, or plan tier? Check whether storage, concurrency, or scheduling requires a higher tier.
For a continuous channel, prioritize clear answers on looping, disconnection recovery, playlist edits, and duration. A service that handles occasional scheduled events may still require manual work or repeated scheduling for a true always-on channel.

Understand the provider-specific trade-offs
StreamNeo: simple per-slot cloud operation
StreamNeo’s included features are the same on each plan; only the billing length changes. A slot includes one always-on YouTube stream, 10 GB storage per slot pooled across active slots, playlists and 24/7 looping, automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream, and support from the StreamNeo team. Uploaded video streams as made, up to 4K 60fps, without re-encoding or quality tiers.
Its billing options are: Daily $0.99 per day · Weekly $2.99 per week · Monthly $9.99 per month · 6 months $49.99 for 6 months · Yearly $89.99 a year. Visitors see the price for their region; UPI and cards are supported in India, with card checkout worldwide. For five or more slots, contact support.
Gyre: compare plan limits against your channel’s needs
Gyre documents cloud playlists, continuous looping, and scheduling. Its tiers differ in storage, concurrent streams, resolution, and scheduler access, so compare the specific tier limits rather than assuming every plan offers the same operating capacity. Its marketing includes growth and monetization claims; those are not guarantees of watch time, eligibility, approval, or revenue.

- Please Note: To reach 10Gbps speed, keep the cable under 3.3 ft. For USB A Male to USB C adapters, try flipping the USB C connector. USB C Male to USB A adapters support bidirectional 10Gbps transfer within 3.3 ft
OneStream Live: continuous mode has a defined ceiling
OneStream documents continuous YouTube looping, but its 24/7 mode is limited to Enterprise and a maximum scheduled duration of 30 days per run. That makes plan eligibility, renewal or rescheduling, and the YouTube-only destination especially important to confirm for a long-running channel.
StreamYard: distinguish events from unattended looping
StreamYard offers prerecorded-stream functionality and production tools, but the listed prerecorded allowances—2 hours on Core and 4 hours on Advanced—describe limited use rather than establishing a continuously looping 24/7 service. Consider it for scheduled productions if those capabilities fit; do not assume it is a direct substitute for a cloud loop.
AJA HELO Plus: hardware rather than cloud hosting
YouTube’s encoder directory lists the AJA HELO Plus and says its PlayToStream feature can schedule prerecorded media to YouTube Live without a computer. It may suit an operator who wants a dedicated physical encoder, but it is not a cloud-hosted service. Verify the setup and current availability for your location.

Budget for the complete operating model
Compare the provider’s recurring fee with the costs and work of the alternative you would otherwise use. A local computer-based setup can mean keeping hardware and a reliable internet connection running, plus managing power, restarts, and stream interruptions. A cloud service shifts playback to the provider, but you should still account for plan limits, storage, slot count, and any time spent maintaining playlists or scheduled runs.
StreamNeo offers a cloud vs PC cost calculator and an upload-time calculator to help estimate those practical costs. Neither a subscription nor a continuous loop guarantees audience growth, monetization approval, or revenue.
Prepare content and avoid common operational surprises
Check rights and channel status
Confirm the channel meets YouTube’s eligibility conditions and that every video, music track, image, and other element in the broadcast is cleared for your use. Automated playback changes how the stream is operated, not the rights or policy requirements that apply to its contents. StreamNeo’s copyright safety checklist can help organize that review.
Plan storage and playlist changes
Estimate total file sizes before uploading and compare them with the storage included in the intended plan. Find out whether a playlist can be edited during playback and how the service applies changes; do not assume a change takes effect immediately or without interruption unless the provider documents that behavior.
Plan for run limits and recovery
For services with scheduled-duration caps, decide who will renew or restart the stream before the run ends. Ask what recovery looks like after a YouTube disconnect, and whether the stream resumes automatically or needs manual intervention. StreamNeo includes automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream; OneStream’s documented 30-day maximum per scheduled run remains a separate planning constraint.
Or let it run in the cloud
With StreamNeo, upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. Nothing has to stay on at home; uploaded video streams at its original quality up to 4K 60fps for one flat price per slot, and automatic recovery handles a YouTube drop. The first day is free with no card. Monthly is $9.99 per month. Start the free StreamNeo trial.
