USB-C video, data, and charging
USB-C can provide different combinations of functions. Confirm that the monitor supports video from the laptop—typically via DisplayPort Alt Mode—as well as any USB hub data you want and enough power delivery for the laptop. A stated charging wattage alone does not confirm that a particular laptop will display video or charge as expected; check the laptop’s port capabilities and use a suitable cable.

Hub, KVM, and shared desks

Color workflow and comfort claims
For routine office work, color-gamut specifications may be less important than resolution, connectivity, and ergonomics.
