How to Check YouTube Livestream Ad Revenue in Rupees in Studio

In YouTube Studio, open Analytics → Revenue to review earnings, then use the Live filter where the report supports it to examine livestream and replay ad revenue. YouTube’s published help pages do not establish that Studio offers a setting to display these figures in Indian rupees (INR), so a rupee display is not guaranteed.

Open the Revenue report in YouTube Studio

These revenue reports are intended for creators in the YouTube Partner Program. On a computer, sign in to YouTube Studio, choose Analytics in the left menu, then select Revenue. In the Android Studio app, tap Analytics in the bottom menu and then Revenue in the top menu. YouTube’s Analytics overview describes the report and its metrics.

Filter for livestream ad revenue

For the livestream and live-replay ad-revenue breakdown, YouTube’s monetization guidance says to use the Live filter in YouTube Analytics. The exact controls can depend on the report you are viewing. YouTube’s live-stream monetization guidance covers the available breakdown.

If Analytics says revenue is unavailable when you filter for Live alone, broaden the selection to Live and on demand or use a different report. YouTube’s live-metrics guidance notes that revenue reports may not be available in the Live-only context; the two instructions refer to different report contexts, so follow the message shown for the report on your account. See YouTube’s live-metrics guidance.

Can Studio show the amount in rupees?

YouTube’s reviewed help pages explain how to open revenue reports and interpret their figures, but do not document a setting for changing the report’s displayed currency to INR. That leaves the currency-display behavior unresolved: do not assume you can switch Studio to rupees or that a rupee amount will appear automatically. If the account shows another currency, check the current Studio and AdSense for YouTube views for that account, or consult YouTube’s current support guidance.

Know which revenue figure you are reading

The Revenue tab can break earnings down by source and content format. These labels answer different questions, so check the report’s metric and filters before interpreting a number. YouTube’s metric definitions explain the distinction.

  • Estimated revenue is a broader Analytics measure that can include several revenue sources; it is not necessarily ad revenue alone.
  • Estimated ad revenue is earnings from ads on videos. Look for the revenue-sources report when you need the ad-only figure.
  • RPM is creator-focused revenue after YouTube’s share, per 1,000 views or engaged views as specified by the metric. It can include ads, YouTube Premium, memberships, Super Chat and Super Stickers.
  • CPM is advertiser-focused cost per 1,000 ad impressions before YouTube’s share. It is not the amount a creator receives per 1,000 views.

For finalized earnings, check AdSense for YouTube rather than treating an Analytics estimate as a final payment amount. YouTube notes that finalized earnings can differ from Analytics estimates, and applicable tax withholding is visible in AdSense for YouTube. YouTube’s Analytics guidance explains where to review these figures.

Why an estimate changes or appears late

YouTube says revenue typically takes 2 days to appear in Analytics. Estimated revenue may later be adjusted for invalid traffic, copyright claims or disputes, and certain ad campaign types. These are YouTube’s published timing guidelines, not a guarantee that every account or transaction follows an identical schedule. See YouTube’s revenue timing and adjustment guidance.

  • YouTube describes an initial estimate adjustment after 1 week and a later adjustment in the middle of the following month.
  • Finalized earnings for the prior month are generally added to the AdSense for YouTube balance between the 7th and 12th of the month.

So a difference between the Studio estimate and the finalized AdSense amount does not by itself indicate an error; the figures can reflect different stages of reporting and later adjustments.

What can earn money during a livestream?

For eligible creators, YouTube lists ads, Super Chat and Super Stickers, and channel memberships as livestream earning methods. When monetization is enabled, pre-roll and display ads are automatically enabled according to YouTube’s instructions; mid-roll ads can be automatic or manually inserted. An ad opportunity is not a promise that an ad will serve, and a view or ad slot alone does not establish earnings. YouTube’s livestream monetization instructions provide details.

Or let it run in the cloud

If you also want prerecorded videos to keep a YouTube channel live around the clock, StreamNeo runs the stream from the cloud rather than relying on a computer and home connection staying on. Upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. It loops uploaded video; it does not stream a camera.
