Check your balance and data by SMS
- From the Movilnet line you want to check, dial *5 or *55.
- Wait for Movilnet’s reply by SMS, then check the balance, plan and consumption details. Look for the data or megabytes field to see the available data shown for your line.
Movilnet says both codes return an SMS with balance, plan and consumption information and are available 24/7. Its more detailed description of the *5 message lists line status, balance, plan, minutes, messages, available megabytes and rental payment date. The carrier does not promise that *5 and *55 always display identical fields, so check the response you receive rather than expecting a particular layout or unit.

Movilnet’s website lookup is explicitly for prepaid customers. Use a browser and follow these steps:

- Open movilnet.com.ve.
- Select “Consulta Tu Saldo.”
- Enter your phone number and complete the security validation or CAPTCHA.
- Select “Consultar.”
Movilnet says the result can include balance and cutoff date, but does not guarantee that every field appears for every line. For data and consumption details, the SMS method has the clearest official description.

Movilnet’s descriptions do not state whether either lookup has a fee, so check the carrier’s current terms if that matters to you.
What if the lookup does not return information?
Movilnet advises customers to contact the company if the information does not appear. Use contact details published on Movilnet’s current official website or verified social account; that avoids relying on phone numbers that may have changed. The carrier has also pointed customers to its Instagram “Atención” highlight, [email protected] and @info_Movilnet. Some contact channels have weekday hours.

Your plan determines the allowance
The lookup shows information tied to your line; a plan’s advertised allowance is not necessarily the amount remaining on your account. Movilnet has described Intelidatos 3.6 as including 3.6 GB for navigation, but that is a plan-specific offer whose current availability is unconfirmed. Check your SMS consumption details or the online result instead of using a named plan’s allowance to estimate your remaining data.
