To see which PlayStation Plus games your account can access, open the service’s Game Catalog on your console and check the individual game listing. On PS5, go to PlayStation Plus > Benefits > Game Catalog. On PS4, open PlayStation Plus > Game Catalog from the function screen. Extra and Premium include Game Catalog access; Premium also adds the Classics Catalog and eligible streaming benefits. The catalog and options shown for a game can vary by region and change over time, so your console’s listing is the best check for your account.
Find the Game Catalog on your console

On PS5
- From the Games home screen, move right and select PlayStation Plus.
- Open the Benefits tab, then select Game Catalog.
- Choose a game to view its options. Select Download if offered, or Stream if the title is eligible for streaming.
On PS4
- From the function screen, move right and select PlayStation Plus.
- Select Game Catalog.
- Choose a game and select Download or Stream, if either option is offered.

In PlayStation’s US plan comparison, the Game Catalog is included with Extra and Premium, not Essential. Premium includes the Extra benefits and adds the Classics Catalog, eligible game streaming, and game trials. Monthly games are different from catalog games
Monthly games are offered each calendar month. After you add one to your library, you can download and play it while your membership remains active. Game Catalog titles are a rotating selection: access requires an eligible membership, and the title must still be part of the catalog. Do not assume that a game is available simply because it appears in a general catalog page or because you have the right tier. Check the listing on your own console for the platform and the options shown for that title.

Check whether a game downloads or streams
Open the game’s listing in the catalog and look for Download and Stream. Download indicates you can install the game on that console; Stream appears only for titles eligible for cloud streaming and accounts or regions where the feature is available. A Premium membership does not make every Game Catalog title streamable, and a listing may offer only one option.

PlayStation’s stated streaming speeds
PlayStation’s console access guide states a minimum broadband speed of 5 Mbps for streaming and 15 Mbps for streaming at 1080p. Its PS5 cloud-streaming page specifies 5 Mbps upload and download to establish a streaming session. These are PlayStation’s stated requirements, not a promise of smooth performance; network conditions can affect the experience.

Game Catalog access depends on both an active eligible membership and the game remaining in the service. PlayStation’s US catalog page says that if your membership expires or a catalog game leaves, you lose access to the game and its associated DLC. Access returns if you resubscribe while the title is available, or if you purchase the title. Downloading a catalog game does not guarantee continued access after it leaves the service.
Why your catalog may differ from someone else’s
The cited catalog and membership pages are US-facing; they do not establish one worldwide list of games. Catalog titles can change, and regional offerings may differ. For a particular game, use the PlayStation Plus menu on your account and check the listing on the console you intend to use. That listing shows whether the title is available for PS5 or PS4 and whether Download or Stream is offered.
