To find internet providers you can actually order at a Lehigh Valley home, look up the complete address on the FCC National Broadband Map, note the reported providers and connection types, then check that same address with each provider. The FCC map is a useful starting list—not a guarantee of eligibility, real-world speed, or price.
1. Look up the complete address on the FCC map
- Open the FCC National Broadband Map and search for the full street address.
- Choose the result that matches the property. If the map shows location points, select the point for the correct building rather than relying on a nearby location.
- Review the fixed broadband results for that location. Record each listed provider, its reported technology, and its maximum advertised download and upload speeds. Fixed options may include fiber, cable, DSL, satellite, or fixed wireless.
The FCC map reports availability information submitted by providers. Its advertised maximum speeds describe what a provider reports as available for purchase; they do not promise the speed a household will experience. 2. Confirm each candidate with the provider
Enter the identical complete address—including apartment or unit number—in each provider’s official availability checker. The provider’s address-specific result is the next step toward finding out whether you can place an order and what plans are offered. If the result is unclear, contact the provider and ask it to confirm serviceability for that exact unit or building.

Astound’s Lehigh Valley page names Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, Nazareth, Bangor, Pen Argyl, and Wind Gap among communities in its regional footprint, but it also says availability varies by address. Use its address checker and plan listings to verify your own location. A regional footprint does not establish that every street, building, or apartment is serviceable.

AT&T
AT&T asks customers to check availability by address. Its fiber coverage map and FAQs describe coverage as approximate; nearby homes can have different eligibility because of network buildout, wiring, or property infrastructure. Use the checker rather than assuming a neighbor’s result applies to you.
3. Resolve a missing or conflicting result
- Check the address details: confirm spelling, street number, apartment or unit, and the selected map location. A mismatch can send you to the wrong building or unit.
- If the FCC map location is missing or inaccurate: use the map’s location challenge process to report the problem.
- If the FCC lists a provider but its checker rejects your address: ask the provider to verify the exact location and explain the discrepancy. Keep the response and any details of an attempted service request or order.
- If you challenge an availability result: provide details of the service request or attempted order, the provider’s response, and relevant supporting evidence. The FCC explains the process in its availability challenge guidance.
4. Compare the services you have confirmed
Once providers confirm eligibility, compare the plans actually offered at your address. The FCC map helps identify reported technologies and advertised speed tiers; the provider’s offer and checkout are where you should verify current prices and conditions.

What the Lehigh Valley results can—and cannot—tell you
The Lehigh Valley spans multiple municipalities and provider footprints, so there is no reliable single provider list that applies to every address. Pennsylvania’s Broadband Development Authority directs residents to the FCC map to check provider coverage and technology. It also links a separate map for identifying locations associated with PBDA-funded infrastructure projects; project inclusion is not proof that internet service is currently available to order.
