Facebook account access can be reviewed and unfamiliar sessions ended through Facebook’s session controls. However, Meta’s currently available help material does not confirm the exact menu route or the labels for signing out one or multiple devices, so those steps should be checked in the current Facebook app or website rather than guessed.
What to check in Facebook
Open Facebook’s account or security settings and look for the section that lists active sessions or where you’re logged in. Review the devices and sessions shown, then use the sign-out control for any session you do not recognize. Facebook’s interface and labels can change, and Meta’s published security pages do not establish a current, session-specific click path or whether a bulk sign-out option is available.

For a session you do not recognize, end that session and then secure the account. If you are unsure whether a device is yours, consider its device type, location and recent activity together; any location shown may be approximate. Avoid sharing passwords or login codes with anyone claiming to help.

Facebook describes login alerts and two-factor authentication as account-security features. Its security information explains these protections at Facebook Account Security.

Meta’s security-key instructions place setup under Accounts Center > Password and security > Two-factor authentication. A compatible third-party U2F or FIDO2 key is an optional physical two-factor method, not a requirement for checking or signing out sessions. Meta advises checking compatibility with your device and browser; its page discusses USB, Lightning, Bluetooth and NFC key types: Use a security key for two-factor authentication.
Accounts Center manages connected experiences and account settings, including logging in across accounts, but that fact alone does not confirm the active-session list’s exact location. See About Accounts Center.

If you think someone took over your account
If you suspect your account was hacked or you cannot secure it through the normal settings, use facebook.com/hacked, preferably on a device you have previously used to log in. Facebook identifies that as the recovery route for a hacked account.
