Know which payment stage you are checking
There are four distinct stages, and each answers a different question:
- Estimated revenue: YouTube Studio reports estimated Supers revenue. This includes Super Chat, Super Stickers and Super Thanks.
- Finalized earnings: YouTube posts finalized earnings to the YouTube payments account in AdSense for YouTube.
- Payment issued: A payment transaction or payment-issued/pending entry indicates that payout activity has begun.
- Funds received: Your bank statement confirms whether the money reached your bank account.
A finalized earnings entry is not the same as an issued payment, and an issued payment is not proof of bank receipt.

Check estimated Supers revenue in YouTube Studio
- Sign in to YouTube Studio.
- Open Analytics → Revenue.
- Choose the date range you want to inspect.
- Review the Supers figure. It combines estimates for Super Chat, Super Stickers and Super Thanks; it does not establish that a payout has been finalized or issued.
Check finalized earnings and payment activity in AdSense
- Sign in to AdSense for YouTube.
- Open Payments.
- If more than one payments account appears, select the YouTube payments account.
- Open View transactions.
- Review the monthly earnings and payment entries. Use the transaction-type and date-range filters if needed; select All time to look beyond the default last three months.
A finalized earnings line shows that earnings were posted to the account. Look for a payment transaction or payment-issued/pending entry to establish whether payout activity was initiated. To confirm receipt, match the payment against your bank statement.
Understand the monthly payment timeline
YouTube says previous-month earnings are generally finalized and posted between the 7th and 12th of the following month. If the account has reached its payment threshold and has no payment hold, payment is generally issued between the 21st and 26th. These are usual processing windows, not guarantees that funds will arrive on a particular day.

Payment information changes and removal of payment holds generally need to be completed by the 20th to apply to that month’s payment cycle. After issuance, a bank transfer can take up to seven working days to complete.

What to check if no payment appears
- Finalization timing: If the prior month’s earnings have not yet appeared as finalized, check again during the usual 7th–12th posting window.
- Payment threshold: Check the threshold shown in your own YouTube payments account. It depends on the reporting currency listed there; being an Indian creator does not by itself establish a specific rupee threshold.
- Payment holds: Review the account for holds and any required tax or identity verification steps. A hold can prevent payment from being issued.
- Payment method and details: Confirm that a payment method is set up and that the payment information is correct. Changes generally need to be completed by the 20th for that month’s cycle.
- Transaction filters: In Payments → View transactions, use the relevant transaction type and date range, or select All time when checking older activity.
- Bank receipt: If AdSense shows payment activity but the funds are not visible, check your bank statement and allow for the bank-transfer processing period after issuance.
For Indian creators: check the account, not an assumed rupee threshold
The threshold is tied to the reporting currency shown in your AdSense for YouTube account, and YouTube’s payment help notes that the YouTube payments account has its own threshold. Check the account’s currency, balance, threshold and payment status rather than assuming that every Indian creator has the same threshold or payment schedule. YouTube’s payment help frames the practical question as: “When will I get paid?”
