Check your Vivo phone’s exact model and software build, then look for an update under Settings > System update and confirm the result with Vivo support for your country or region. An update that does not appear today does not, by itself, prove the phone is permanently ineligible: releases can roll out in phases and schedules can differ by market.
Find your exact Vivo model and software build
- Open Settings > About phone > Software information.
- Write down the model identifier and current software build. Vivo’s Poland support FAQ shows a V-prefixed model example and a PD-prefixed build example; your identifiers and menu wording may differ by device or region. See Vivo’s support FAQ.
Use the full identifiers when checking eligibility. Similar model names may refer to regional or carrier variants with different update plans.

Check for an update on the phone
- Connect the phone to a network.
- Open Settings > System update and check whether an update is offered. See Vivo’s system-update instructions.
An available over-the-air update is the clearest indication that a release is currently being offered to your handset. If no update appears, that only tells you it is not being offered through that check at that moment; staged rollout timing means it is not conclusive proof of permanent ineligibility.

Confirm eligibility for your country or region
Use the official Vivo support or update page for the market where the phone is sold or used. Vivo’s regional support page includes a product-model selector and local support contacts: Vivo regional support.

If the page or phone does not give you a clear answer, contact local Vivo support with the exact model and software build. Do not assume that a schedule announced for another country—or one shown for a similar device—applies to your variant. The available official information does not establish a complete, current eligibility list covering every model and market.
Understand rollout dates and version announcements
Vivo’s global OriginOS 6 announcement said the phased global rollout would begin in November 2025 and that the subsequent plan could vary by market. That announcement is not a guarantee that a particular handset will receive the update by a particular date. A page describing a newer OriginOS version or its features does not confirm your phone’s eligibility for OriginOS 6 or 7. Vivo’s global OriginOS 7 product page qualifies feature availability by device model, software version, country or region, and third-party service, and does not provide a complete eligibility table in the retrieved content. Stable updates and preview programs are different
A stable OTA check is not the same as enrolling in a preview or beta. For example, Vivo India’s instructions for the X200 Pro OriginOS 6 Preview, posted September 30, 2025, specify software build 15.0.14.1 or higher, a data backup, and stable Wi-Fi. The listed enrollment path is Settings > System Update > three-dot menu > Version Trial > Closed Beta Sign-Up; applicants submit their device version and a form, and registrations are reviewed. The instructions warn that beta software can contain bugs and cause abnormal power use. These steps apply to that named model and India preview, not as a universal enrollment route or proof of stable-update eligibility. Check Vivo India’s preview instructions.

Back up important data before trying preview software. Use a backup method that works with your device, such as a computer or a supported cloud service.
