To confirm access for your account, check the game’s listing in your own region and on the device you plan to use; subscription catalogs and regional availability can change.
Which Game Pass tiers does the Xbox Store list?
On the US Xbox Store page checked October 7, 2026, Valor Mortis appears under the subscription entries PC only and Ultimate. The page lists Xbox Series X|S and PC, and identifies the game as Xbox Play Anywhere. See the Xbox Store listing for the current details.

That tier-level listing is more specific than Xbox Wire’s June 7, 2026 announcement, which said the game was included with Game Pass without naming individual plans. The announcement supports Game Pass inclusion generally; use the Store’s subscription labels to check which named tiers are listed.
How to check your own account and region
- Open the Xbox Store page for Valor Mortis in your browser, or search for the game in the Xbox Store on your console or PC.
- Confirm that the page is for your country or region. The tier labels above come from the US listing and do not establish availability everywhere.
- Look for the subscription or Game Pass section on the listing. Check whether your specific plan is named; do not assume that an unlisted tier includes the game.
- Check that the listed platform matches the device you intend to use. The reviewed Store page lists PC and Xbox Series X|S, and marks the game Xbox Play Anywhere.
- Before relying on access, confirm the listing’s availability status and the subscription attached to your account. The US page was labeled “Coming to” when checked October 7, 2026.
What is the current release timing?
The original September 24, 2026 date announced by Xbox Wire and publisher Lyrical Games is no longer current. One More Level’s Steam publisher page lists October 13, 2026; a June 11, 2026 Gematsu report also quotes the developer’s update moving the date to October 13. The One More Level Steam publisher page is the source for that currently listed date. The Xbox Store still showed “Coming to” on October 7, so check your regional Xbox page for the latest availability.

Subscription access or buying the game?
If your plan is one of the tiers listed for your region, compare using the subscription with buying a separate copy based on how long you expect to play and whether you already pay for that plan. A subscription provides catalog access under its applicable terms; a purchase is a separate transaction. A retail purchase does not itself provide Game Pass access.
