How to Check Whether the Zotac RTX 5060 Twin Edge Plus Fits Your PC Case

It fits only if your specific case has enough usable room for the card, its power cable and the rest of your installed hardware. The ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 5060 Twin Edge Plus (ZT-B50600E2-10M) measures 220.5 × 120.25 × 41.6 mm and is listed as a two-slot card. Compare those dimensions with your case’s limits for your actual fan, radiator and drive-cage layout—not just the case’s overall size.

Start with the exact card dimensions

ZOTAC’s specification for the RTX 5060 Twin Edge Plus lists dimensions of 220.5 mm long × 120.25 mm high × 41.6 mm thick (8.7 × 4.7 × 1.6 inches), a two-slot size, one 8-pin power input and 145 W power consumption. ZOTAC recommends a 550 W power supply.

Use the exact model and revision of your case when checking its manual or product page. A case’s overall dimensions, or a broad retailer description such as “mid-tower,” do not establish GPU clearance.

Check usable GPU length with your hardware installed

Find the case maker’s maximum GPU length and compare it with the card’s 220.5 mm length. The number is useful only if it reflects your build configuration: front fans, radiator, drive cage and any other hardware in front of the graphics card can reduce the space available.

  • Axial-tech fan design features a smaller fan hub that facilitates longer blades and a barrier ring that increases downward air pressure
  • A 2.5-slot design maximizes compatibility and cooling efficiency for superior performance in small chassis
  1. Find the manufacturer’s GPU-clearance measurement. Check the case manual or official support page for how and where the maximum length is measured.
  2. Confirm what is installed at the front. Check whether the stated maximum assumes stock fans, and account for a radiator, fan stack or drive cage where applicable.
  3. Compare the remaining space with 220.5 mm. Use the clearance that remains in your chosen layout, not an empty-case figure that assumes hardware you plan to install.

For example, Fractal Design’s Focus 2 guidance subtracts a 30 mm radiator from 405 mm of GPU clearance to give 375 mm. That is a manufacturer example for that case, not a universal subtraction rule; use the measurement method and limits given for your own case. See Fractal Design’s GPU-length guidance.

Check thickness, slot access and side-panel clearance

Length is only one dimension. The card is listed as 41.6 mm thick and two slots, so confirm the case has room for that thickness and that the installed card will not cover a slot or another component your build needs. This matters especially in compact layouts, where nearby components can constrain space even when the listed GPU length is sufficient.

Also compare the card’s 120.25 mm height with the case’s relevant GPU height or width limit, accounting for how the card is oriented in the case. Leave enough room for the side panel to close without pressing against the card or its connector. The case manual’s measurement and layout guidance is the authority for what its limits mean.

Allow room for the power connector and cable

ZOTAC specifies one 8-pin input and recommends a 550 W PSU. Check that your power supply meets that recommendation and has the required connector. Then check that the cable can plug in and route toward the power supply without being forced against the side panel or another component. The card’s electrical specification does not tell you how much cable-bending or connector space your case provides.

What SFF-Ready does—and does not—tell you

ZOTAC labels this card SFF-Ready, which is useful context for a small-form-factor build, but it is not a guarantee that the card fits every case carrying a compatible label. NVIDIA’s guidance says a compatible case must have room for an SFF-Ready card and its bundled power connector, as well as the other necessary PC components. Check the exact case and your complete layout rather than relying on the label alone. NVIDIA’s SFF-Ready guidance

Use this checklist before you buy or install

  • Identify the exact case model and revision.
  • Verify at least 220.5 mm of usable GPU length with your planned front hardware installed.
  • Confirm the case accommodates a 41.6 mm-thick, two-slot card and preserves access to any slots or components you need.
  • Check the card’s 120.25 mm height against the case’s relevant limit and ensure the side panel will close without contact.
  • Confirm the PSU meets ZOTAC’s 550 W recommendation, has one 8-pin connector, and leaves room to route the cable.

If comparing two cases, use these same four dimensions of fit: remaining GPU length, thickness and neighboring-slot access, card height and side-panel room, and connector/cable routing. If any clearance or cable path is unclear in the case documentation, do not treat the fit as confirmed; verify it with the case maker’s specification or support guidance before installing.
