To check Starlink at a Venezuelan address, open the official Starlink Availability Map, enter the complete Service Address where the dish will be installed, choose the matching autocomplete result, and select Check Availability and Plans in Your Area. The result is address-specific: it can show service available now, or indicate that coverage or regulatory approval is still pending.
Do not treat a country-level statement, a broad map color, or a nearby city as an order confirmation. Continue from the address result into Starlink’s order flow to see the kit and plans actually offered for that location. Venezuela also has local purchasing and activation rules, a possible one-time demand surcharge that varies by address, and account-country requirements that can affect whether activation succeeds.

What the address check actually confirms
Starlink evaluates eligibility for the exact place where the antenna will operate, not simply for Venezuela or the nearest municipality. Capacity, regulatory approval, address-level demand and plan availability can differ between neighboring locations. Entering a complete installation address therefore gives you a more useful answer than searching for a city name or relying on a national coverage claim.

The live map is the authoritative first check. It uses the labels Available and Coming Soon; Starlink explains that a pending area can still be waiting for service coverage or regulatory approval. A pending result is not a promise that an order can be activated today. Read the address result and then proceed to the order flow for the kit and plan shown for that address.

Step-by-step: check your Venezuelan address
1. Open Starlink’s official map
Go to https://starlink.com/pr/map. Use the Starlink map rather than an unofficial coverage graphic or a reseller’s general claim. The page is live, so availability can change as network capacity and approvals change.
2. Enter the installation location
Find the field labeled Service Address. Enter the full Venezuelan address where the dish will be mounted or placed. Include the state, municipality, city or town, street information and any apartment, parcel or reference details that distinguish the property. If the interface offers a pin or location suggestion, use the property itself rather than a nearby town center.
- Use the physical installation site, not a billing address in another city.
- Do not substitute a broad postal region when a street or parcel-level result is available.
- If the property is rural, enter the closest formal address and verify the map pin is on the intended site before continuing.
3. Select the matching autocomplete result
As you type, Starlink may present address suggestions. Select the suggestion that matches the installation property and country. A similar-looking result in another municipality can produce a different capacity or plan result.

Submit the address and review the status shown under Check Availability and Plans in Your Area. The map distinguishes an area that is currently available from one marked Coming Soon. Starlink’s explanatory text associates a pending result with coverage or regulatory approval, so do not interpret it as an immediate activation date unless the page gives one.
5. Continue to the address-specific order flow
If the map presents an order option, continue so you can see the hardware and plans offered for that exact address. Starlink’s Standard Kit instructions direct customers to enter the service address and select Order now when the kit is offered. The order screen is where you confirm whether a Standard Kit, a particular Residential option, or another eligible plan is actually available to your account and location. See Starlink’s kit guidance at Where is the Starlink Standard Kit available?
6. Record what the page shows
Before leaving the flow, save or screenshot the displayed status, plan name, one-time charges and recurring charges. These values are tied to the address and account context and may change. If the result is unclear, repeat the check with the same spelling and country in the account/order process instead of trying a nearby address.
How to interpret each result
| Map or order result | What it means | What to do next |
|---|---|---|
| Available | Starlink currently identifies the entered service address as eligible to continue toward an order, subject to the plan, account and capacity conditions shown in the order flow. | Open the order details, verify the kit and plan, and check all one-time and recurring charges before paying. |
| Coming Soon | The area is not confirmed for immediate service. Starlink says pending areas can be awaiting coverage or regulatory approval. | Do not buy hardware on the assumption that activation is imminent. Recheck the official map later and contact support if you need clarification. |
| Different or ambiguous address suggestion | The map may be evaluating a nearby property, municipality or country rather than your installation site. | Clear the field, re-enter the complete address and select the exact matching suggestion. Confirm the country in the account flow. |
| Map appears eligible but no plan can be ordered | Map status alone does not guarantee capacity, plan eligibility or activation for your account. | Use the order flow and support channel to identify whether capacity, country registration or a local rule is blocking activation. |
Venezuela-specific purchase and plan rules
Starlink’s Venezuela support guidance describes service through three routes: a newly purchased kit from an approved local retailer, an existing customer using a Roam plan, or a customer bringing an existing device to activate Roam. The same guidance describes a discounted fixed Residential plan. Because these are local and changeable terms, rely on the current address and account flow for your own eligibility rather than assuming every route is offered everywhere.

The Venezuela support page names Daka, Multimax and Soytechno as approved local kit retailers. It also states, in the guidance shown there, that online purchase directly from Starlink in Venezuela is not yet available. Retailer authorization and stock can change, so confirm both before traveling to a store or paying for a kit. The country guidance is at Starlink in Venezuela.

Residential versus Roam
The local Venezuela instructions describe the local offering as a fixed Residential plan rather than Roam for new Residential activations. Roam is discussed as a route for existing customers or for bringing an existing device, and Starlink’s general activation help describes Roam as a possible option where Standard or Priority activation is blocked by capacity. These are different situations: seeing Roam as a fallback in a capacity-limited case does not override the Venezuela-specific rules or guarantee that you can later switch plans.
One kit per Venezuelan account
The Venezuela guidance says each Venezuelan account is limited to one kit. If you need service at multiple properties, do not assume that creating several orders under one account will be accepted. Check the current account rules and ask Starlink support how a second location should be handled.
Possible demand surcharge
New Residential activations in Venezuela may include a one-time demand surcharge that varies by service address. It is not a universal national amount. Treat the charge displayed in your address-specific order as the controlling figure, and distinguish it from recurring service fees and the hardware cost.

Capacity and activation checks that can change the outcome
Starlink’s general activation guidance explains that Standard and Priority plans cannot be activated in capacity-limited areas. Where capacity is unavailable, the help page describes Roam as a possible activation option, with restrictions on switching back to Standard or Priority until capacity opens. Read the full guidance at How do I activate my Starlink?
This means an address can look promising on the map but still fail at activation if the selected plan has no capacity. Conversely, a Roam option shown in an activation flow is not proof that fixed Residential service is available at that property. Keep the map result, order screen and activation message together when asking support for an explanation.
What to compare when more than one option appears
If your address flow presents multiple eligible choices, compare the items below before selecting one. Do not assume an option exists unless it appears for your address and account.
| Decision point | Questions to answer on the screen | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Service type | Is this fixed Residential, Roam, or another option actually listed? | Residential and travel-oriented service have different eligibility and use conditions. Venezuela’s local guidance specifically discusses a fixed Residential plan and separate Roam routes. |
| Capacity timing | Can activation proceed now, or is the address pending or capacity-limited? | A map label or plan name does not by itself guarantee immediate activation. |
| One-time charges | Is there a demand surcharge, hardware charge or other non-recurring amount? | Venezuelan Residential demand surcharges can vary by address, so compare the amount shown for your property. |
| Recurring charges | What monthly or periodic service charge is shown for this plan? | Do not infer a national price from another address, an old screenshot or a different plan. |
| Purchase source | Is the kit supplied through the order flow or an approved Venezuelan retailer? | The country guidance names local retailers and says direct online purchase is not yet available under that guidance. |
| Account compatibility | Does the account’s registration country match Venezuela, and can this account activate the selected plan? | Country mismatch or plan restrictions can prevent activation even when hardware is genuine. |
Account-country and activation requirements
Starlink warns that the country used on the website must match the country registered to the account for activation. If you created an account while located elsewhere, check the registration country before ordering for a Venezuelan property. Do not try to bypass a country mismatch by entering a nearby country’s address; that can create a different eligibility and billing context.
After obtaining a kit, follow the activation instructions tied to the order and account. If the system rejects Standard or Priority because the area is capacity-limited, read the offered alternatives and their switching restrictions rather than repeatedly submitting the same activation. For a conflict between the map, retailer information and account screen, Starlink support is the appropriate place to confirm the current rule.

Troubleshooting an unclear or unexpected result
The map says Coming Soon, but a retailer has hardware
Hardware possession does not establish that the installation address can be activated. Keep the kit unopened if possible, recheck the exact service address and ask support whether coverage or regulatory approval is still pending. A retailer’s inventory cannot change the map’s address-level status.
The map shows Available, but no order button appears
Re-enter the address and select the exact autocomplete result, then sign in or create the account with Venezuela as the registration country. Check whether the flow is showing a capacity or plan restriction. If the address remains available but the order path stops, provide support with the exact address text and the message displayed.
The result changes when you move the pin
That usually indicates a boundary between service cells, municipalities or capacity areas. Use the actual installation point and do not move the pin to obtain a more favorable result. If your property has no formal street address, describe the location to support before purchasing.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteYou are offered Roam but want fixed Residential
Read the Venezuela-specific plan guidance and the activation notice. Roam may be presented where Standard or Priority capacity is unavailable, but the general activation page warns that switching back can be restricted until capacity opens. Ask support whether fixed Residential can be activated at your address instead of assuming the Roam offer is interchangeable.
The account country is wrong
Stop before paying for hardware or service. Starlink’s activation guidance says the website country must match the account registration country. Correct the account details through the supported account process or contact support; do not create a series of mismatched accounts to test the map.
Before you pay: a Venezuelan address checklist
- The map was opened from Starlink’s official availability page.
- The Service Address is the physical dish location in Venezuela.
- You selected the exact autocomplete suggestion, not a nearby city.
- The result says Available rather than Coming Soon, or you understand what pending coverage or approval means.
- The order flow shows a kit and plan that can be activated for this address.
- The account registration country is Venezuela.
- You recorded the hardware cost, recurring service charge and any one-time demand surcharge shown for the address.
- If buying locally, you confirmed current authorization and stock with Daka, Multimax or Soytechno before visiting.
- You understand whether the offer is fixed Residential or Roam and any restriction on changing plans later.
- You know whom to contact if the map and activation screens disagree.
After the check: what a successful result does—and does not—mean
An Available result means Starlink’s system has identified the entered location as eligible to continue in the displayed order path. It does not lock the price, reserve capacity indefinitely or guarantee that a different account, address or plan will receive the same offer. Capacity and local terms can change, so complete the order only after reviewing the current details.
A Coming Soon result is a reason to wait and monitor the official map, not a reason to purchase a kit speculatively. If you already own equipment, ask support whether your intended account and address can use a permitted Roam route; do not assume that imported or second-hand hardware will activate.
Sources and change-sensitive details
The availability labels and address controls are on Starlink’s Availability Map, checked October 13, 2026. Venezuela’s retailer, plan, one-kit and surcharge guidance appears on Starlink’s Starlink in Venezuela support page, which shows a June 25, 2026 update alongside earlier policy notes. Account-country, capacity and activation restrictions are described in How do I activate my Starlink?. Kit ordering instructions are in Where is the Starlink Standard Kit available?. Because all of these pages and terms can change, use the live address and account screens immediately before committing money.
