What the Week 4, 2026 reports showed
The NFL.com Week 4 injury report listed Maye as fully participating in practice with no game-status designation for the Patriots-Bills game, scheduled for 1:00 p.m. EDT. The Patriots’ report identified a right shoulder injury and recorded full participation Wednesday through Friday, with “(-)” in the game-status column. The Patriots player profile recorded three starts in the first three games of the 2026 season. These are a dated snapshot for that week, not a status update for a later game.

Read the NFL injury report, the Patriots injury report, and the Patriots player profile. The Patriots explain that DNP means did not participate, LP means limited participation, FP means full participation, and “(-)” means no game status is listed.

- Confirm the game week and kickoff time. Use the report for the specific game you mean; an earlier week’s update may no longer apply.
- Review the latest team and NFL injury reports. Practice participation and a missing game-status designation are useful signs, but neither is the final game-day active announcement.
- Check the official inactive announcement close to kickoff. NFL Fantasy says teams designate inactive players about 90 minutes before scheduled game time when they are unable to play. Confirm Maye is in your fantasy starting lineup
NFL availability and your fantasy roster are separate questions. The Patriots and NFL cannot show whether you placed Maye in a starting slot; only your league account can confirm that.

- Open your fantasy league and go to the matchup or lineup screen for the current week.
- Find the QB slot and check whether Drake Maye appears there rather than on the bench.
- Check the screen’s lineup-lock indicator before making a change. Button names and lock rules vary by platform, and the exact service is not specified here.
Finding player updates in NFL Fantasy
If you use NFL Fantasy, its player-news help page points to news and analysis under the Players tab. The league homepage’s player-news module can be filtered to your team or the full league. Other fantasy services may use different labels or layouts.
What auto-swap can and cannot tell you
NFL Fantasy’s Auto-Swap Inactives feature swaps an injured starter projected to score zero points with a bench player according to the configured backups order. It is not a guarantee that every uncertain status or late lineup change will be handled. Check the active/inactive announcement and your lineup screen directly; do not assume an automatic change has put Maye in the slot you want.

If you are deciding whether to start him
After confirming availability, weigh his expected playing role, matchup, your league’s scoring rules, and the quarterbacks available on your roster. NFL Fantasy describes projection tools and starter-versus-bench point comparisons, but projections are estimates—not confirmation of an NFL start or your fantasy lineup placement. Your lineup screen remains the place to verify your own roster.
