A big discount percentage does not prove a video game is a good deal. Match the exact platform, edition, region, and currency; compare the current price with the game’s own price history and eligible retailer offers; then verify the total and terms at checkout.
Start by matching the exact offer
Before comparing prices, make sure each listing is for the same product. A PC key and a console copy are not interchangeable, and standard, deluxe, and complete editions may include different content. Check the region and currency as well: a price in another country may not apply to your account or be redeemable where you live.

- Platform: Confirm the store and platform the game activates on.
- Edition: Match the edition and included content.

Look at the game’s past prices rather than relying only on its displayed discount from list price. There is no universal discount percentage that makes every game a good buy. A useful judgment depends on the specific title, its past pricing, and whether the current offer is for the edition and region you want. Check the game’s price history on IsThereAnyDeal and treat the historical low as context, not a promise that the price will fall further.
Compare eligible stores and the checkout total
Once you have a matching product, compare current offers from stores that can sell it to you. A tracker’s listed price is a lead, not necessarily the final transaction price. Check the retailer page for the current price, stock, seller, activation terms, any delivery charges or other relevant fees, and the sale’s end time.

GameDeal says its listings appear only while an offer is in stock, were checked within the previous 72 hours, and link to the shop. That is the service’s stated method, not a guarantee that every tracker uses the same checks or that an offer remains unchanged. Deku Deals
Deku Deals says it tracks games for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam, and offers wishlist email notifications. Its site displays current deals and retailer examples, including Amazon. Check the exact console, edition, seller, region, and live price; coverage across those platforms does not mean every listing is available in every region: Deku Deals.
Augmented Steam
Augmented Steam says its product page can show current best prices and historical lows from multiple authorized stores next to the purchase box. If you use the extension, verify its current behavior, supported stores, and browser compatibility rather than assuming those details are unchanged: Augmented Steam.

Set an alert if you can wait
If the current offer is not compelling to you and you do not need the game now, add the exact game and edition to a tracker’s waitlist or wishlist.
