To check whether you can get a specific TV station with an antenna, enter your address or city and state in the FCC’s DTV Reception Maps. The results predict which digital broadcast signals may reach that location; they do not guarantee reception with your antenna and TV.

Understand what the result means
The FCC model assumes an outdoor antenna 30 feet above ground. Your result may differ because actual reception depends on terrain, buildings, trees, weather, and the receiving equipment. Indoor reception can differ substantially from the map prediction, and hilly locations can be especially challenging.
When available, note the station’s call sign, network, virtual channel, and broadcast band. A virtual channel number is the number displayed to viewers; it can differ from the frequency the station actually broadcasts on. Consider the band and reception direction when choosing an antenna, rather than relying only on a marketing range claim.
Confirm reception with your TV and antenna
To find out whether your setup receives the station reliably, connect an antenna and scan for channels at the place where you intend to watch. Over-the-air television requires an antenna. A digital TV can tune digital broadcasts; an analog-only television also needs a digital-to-analog converter box, according to the FCC’s consumer guidance.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches-
Choose an indoor or outdoor antenna suited to the station’s broadcast band, predicted signal, and reception direction. Indoor antennas are easier to place, while an outdoor or rooftop installation may allow a different placement; neither guarantees reception at a particular address.

The FCC describes its map as a way to check for DTV signals predicted at a location. Treat a predicted listing as a reason to test with your own equipment, not proof that the station will be watchable in every room or with every antenna.
