How to Check the Fortnite Item Shop and Find Limited-Time Skins

Check the official Fortnite Item Shop on the web or in-game, then open an item’s details to see its displayed V-Bucks price and planned removal date and time. The shop refreshes at approximately 0:00 GMT, but use the local timing shown under About Shop as your practical reference.

Where to check the Fortnite Item Shop

Use Epic’s official Fortnite Item Shop in a browser, or open the Item Shop in Fortnite. Epic confirms that Fortnite items can be purchased through a web browser; the live storefront is the place to verify what is currently listed and its price.

2. In the Item Shop, open About Shop to see the rotation timing in your local time zone. Epic Games said in its April 9, 2024 shop update that it removed the overall refresh timer and shows each player the shop rotation time in their unique time zone. Epic Support describes the refresh as happening at approximately 0:00 GMT, so the local time displayed in your shop is the more useful reference.

3. Select the cosmetic you want to check. Its details show the V-Bucks price and, beneath the Purchase button, the planned date and time it will be removed. Epic documents this on its item removal instructions.

What if a limited-time skin is not in the shop?

Fortnite’s shop rotates, so an absent cosmetic may return, but Epic does not promise a return date. Its support guidance does not establish a return frequency, odds, or average wait. Treat third-party predictions as unofficial; check Epic’s live storefront for current availability and any item-specific announcement.

Battle Pass cosmetics are not guaranteed to return

Epic says certain Battle Pass cosmetics released after August 7, 2024 may be offered in the shop at least 18 months after the relevant pass expires. This is potential eligibility, not a promise that a particular cosmetic will return or be available on a certain date. See Epic’s guidance on item returns for its qualification.
