For one ended broadcast, open that stream’s Analytics and look for New Subscribers in its post-stream snapshot. These reports show attributed subscriber gains; the Live Control Room’s concurrent-viewer count does not.
Find subscriber gains attributed to live streams

Sign in to YouTube Studio and select Analytics in the left menu. Studio Analytics includes channel-level and individual-content reports; use Advanced Mode or See More to open expanded reports. YouTube has been gradually updating Analytics since July 2026, so labels or placement may vary by account. YouTube’s Analytics overview describes the expanded reporting options.

Open Content and choose the Live chip to filter channel-level analytics to live-stream content.

In the channel-level Subscribers report, review the gains attributed to live streams for the selected period. YouTube says this report shows subscribers gained from each content type: videos, Shorts, live streams, posts, and others. “Others” includes subscriptions from YouTube Search and the channel page. Check one ended broadcast

In YouTube Studio, open Content > Live.

Select the broadcast and open its Analytics.

Review New Subscribers in the post-stream snapshot. This is the documented subscriber measure for an individual ended stream; it is not a substitute for the channel-level Subscribers report, which covers live content over a selected period.

Choose a date range, then use the comparison controls to compare periods or content as needed. Keep the Live filter applied when comparing live-stream subscriber gains.

Use filters, breakdowns, or dimensions to investigate a change. Advanced Mode supports filters including geography and subscription status where available, and lets you export the current view.

Compare equivalent date windows—for example, one week against a week of the same length—rather than mismatched periods. To investigate why subscriber gains changed, consider live-stream traffic sources, views, impressions, average view duration, and concurrent viewers alongside the Subscribers report. These metrics describe discovery and viewing, not subscriber conversion itself.

Know what each subscriber and audience figure means

New Subscribers in a stream’s post-stream snapshot: the documented subscriber measure for that ended broadcast.

Concurrent viewers: people watching at the same time, not subscribers gained. YouTube defines peak concurrent as the highest number of viewers during a live stream.

Live Control Room real-time measures: during a broadcast, the control room shows measures such as concurrent viewers, duration, views, chat rate, likes, and average view duration. Keep these separate from attributed subscriber reporting.
YouTube says Analytics data is based on Video ID and is processed and despammed; it measures different information from Live Control Room. Analytics metrics become available within minutes after a stream ends. That does not mean every channel-level subscriber report updates continuously during an uninterrupted 24/7 broadcast.
What a 24/7 stream can—and cannot—show
You can use the channel-level Live filter to review subscriber gains attributed to live content over selected periods, and use an ended broadcast’s post-stream snapshot for its New Subscribers figure. The official guidance does not establish that YouTube breaks one uninterrupted 24/7 Video ID into daily subscriber-gain intervals. Do not assume that a daily subscriber time series is available for a single continuous broadcast.

If the stream never ends, rely on the channel-level report over the date ranges Analytics makes available. For an individual stream snapshot, the documented workflow applies after the stream ends. The sources do not describe a separate method for extracting daily subscriber attribution from an ongoing Video ID.

YouTube documents the same Studio workflow for channels in India; no India-only subscriber-growth metric or alternate procedure is identified. India may be relevant as the channel’s location or audience geography, but geography data can be limited in some reports. Data availability can also vary by report, so a missing breakdown does not necessarily mean there was no audience or subscriber activity.
Analytics labels and placement may differ during YouTube’s interface rollout. If a named control is not where expected, look for the expanded-report option—Advanced Mode or See More—from Analytics.
