Check RPM for one 24/7 livestream
- Sign in to YouTube Studio on a computer.
- In the left menu, select Content, then open the Live tab.
- Select the livestream or its archived video, if available.
- Open Analytics, then select Revenue.
- Choose a date range that includes the period you want to inspect. Allow time for YouTube to process revenue.
If the Revenue report is missing while a Live-only content filter is active, remove that filter or choose Live and on demand. YouTube’s live metrics guidance says certain revenue reports are unavailable with the Live-only filter. A separate monetization report can offer a Live filter for an ad-revenue breakdown, so filter availability depends on the report you are viewing.

Check channel-wide RPM
- Open YouTube Studio.
- Select Analytics from the left menu.
- Open the Revenue tab.
- Review RPM for the selected date range.
YouTube says the Revenue tab is available to YouTube Partner Program creators at channel and video level. Studio began a gradual Analytics interface update rollout in July 2026, so labels or placement may vary between accounts.

Not as a live counter. YouTube says revenue takes two days to appear in Analytics. Estimated revenue may then be adjusted: an initial adjustment after about a week and another in the middle of the following month. Finalized earnings can differ from the estimate and appear in AdSense for YouTube.
These timing points come from YouTube Help; the page does not state a publication year. For a fair comparison, do not treat an early Studio estimate and finalized AdSense earnings as equivalent snapshots.
What RPM means—and what it does not
YouTube defines RPM as creator revenue per 1,000 views, calculated after YouTube’s revenue share. It can include ads, YouTube Premium, channel memberships, Super Chat, and Super Stickers, and it includes views that did not generate revenue. CPM is different: it measures advertiser cost per 1,000 ad impressions before YouTube’s revenue share. Because RPM includes non-monetized views, it is generally lower than CPM.

RPM does not include most merchandise sales, sponsorships, or revenue from services and consulting. A change in RPM alone does not show which revenue source changed. Compare views and revenue over matching date ranges, and inspect the available revenue-source breakdowns.
Why a 24/7 stream does not have a guaranteed RPM
Eligible livestreams can earn through ads, Super Chat and Super Stickers, and channel memberships. When livestream monetization is enabled, pre-roll and display ads can run; mid-roll ads may be automatic or manually scheduled. But YouTube cautions that ad slots are not guaranteed to serve ads. Stream duration or concurrent viewers alone therefore cannot establish a predictable RPM.

YouTube reported that automatic mid-rolls were associated with an average uplift of over 20% in instream ad revenue per hour across 207 countries in January 2024. That is a platform-wide comparative figure, not an India-specific result or a forecast for an individual channel or stream.
India: what changes and what does not
YouTube’s India-localized live metrics guidance describes the same Studio workflow and filter caveat. The sources do not establish a separate India-only RPM screen or an official universal Indian RPM benchmark for 24/7 livestreams. Your channel’s actual RPM reflects its views and revenue, so generic online country ranges should not be treated as a promise of what your stream will earn.

If you use the YouTube Studio mobile app
In the YouTube Studio Android app, open Analytics → Revenue for channel revenue information, including RPM for livestreams. Some Analytics reports are not available on mobile. If you cannot find the video-level Revenue report or a relevant filter, use Studio on a computer.
