- Open the Pakistan Railways Train Timings page.
- Enter or select your travel date using the date field.
- Check the listed train and timings against your origin and destination.
This is an official timetable lookup, but a listed time is a planned schedule; it does not by itself confirm that the train is currently on time or operating.

Search by route, train, or station
The Pakistan Railways train and route search supports searches by departure and arrival, train name or number, and station. Its results expose route, timing, and fare information. Enter your own journey rather than relying on an example result, since a sample timetable should not be treated as confirmation for another date.

Use RABTA as another journey-search option
RABTA asks for From, To, Departure Date, and Departure Time, including a time-window choice. When results are available, the page provides fields for train, route, time, duration, class, and remarks. RABTA lists call center 117.
If the page does not load results, retry it or use phone or station assistance. A page snapshot required JavaScript and returned “No Data”; this does not establish that no train runs for your journey.

How to check whether a train is delayed or cancelled
Repeat the official timetable or journey search close to departure, then contact 117 or the relevant station reservation office if you need confirmation of a suspected change. The available official information does not establish a dependable, guaranteed live delay alert or automatic cancellation notice, so do not treat a timetable result or app notification as proof of current operating status.

Those options concern reservation status; they should not be mistaken for live train-location tracking.
What Pakistan Railways’ disruption information does—and does not—establish
The Auditor-General of Pakistan’s Information Systems Audit report on the computerized reservation and e-ticketing system, for audit year 2022–23, reported that “SMS service was not available in case of late or cancelled trains.” It also described integration gaps between e-ticketing, the computerized reservation system, and Pak Rail Live during the period audited. That is a historical audit finding, not proof of how every service works today.
A Ministry of Railways restructuring plan dated 23 February 2026 describes RABTA for online booking and passenger facilitation and mentions development of real-time train-monitoring applications as a technology initiative. The plan does not establish that passengers currently have integrated, dependable delay alerts. The Ministry’s e-services page says Android and iOS reservation apps are available to the public, but that statement alone does not confirm current app-store availability or particular alert features.

Pakistan Railways’ FAQ advises passengers to verify the train number, journey date, berth or seat number, and passenger name before leaving the reservation counter. Keep those details available if you contact a helpline or station about your booking.
