How do I check battery health on my Galaxy Z Fold?

Open the Samsung Members app.

Tap Support or Diagnostics, then open Phone diagnostics. Depending on the app version, the route may instead appear under Discover > Diagnostics. Samsung also documents Settings > Device care > Diagnostics on supported devices.

Choose Battery status and read the result displayed on your phone.

The Samsung Members test is a condition check, not a promise of an exact battery-capacity percentage or charge-cycle count. Samsung’s instructions do not establish that those numeric readings are available on every Z Fold model or software version. The available tests and labels can also differ by device. Samsung’s diagnostic instructions describe the Battery status test and note that screens and options may vary.
How do I see which apps are using battery?
Open Settings > Device care > Battery. Review the battery-usage display and the app-level consumption shown on your phone. Samsung identifies this area as the place to review battery usage and battery information. Device care’s battery screen helps you investigate where power is going; it does not by itself determine whether the battery is worn out.

What the Galaxy Z Fold6 Battery page includes
For the Galaxy Z Fold6, the European English user manual documents a Battery page showing remaining power and estimated time, as well as power-saving options, background usage limits, battery protection, charging settings, and battery information. These details are specific to that model’s manual and should not be assumed to match every Z Fold generation. Why is my Galaxy Z Fold battery draining so fast?
First use the Device care battery-usage screen to see whether particular apps or usage patterns account for the drain, then run the Samsung Members Battery status check. A single day’s usage chart is not enough to diagnose a failing battery: power use depends on how the phone is being used, and an app can account for substantial consumption without the battery itself being defective.

Samsung says lithium-ion batteries gradually lose performance with continued use. Fast drain after charging and unexpected shutdowns—particularly in cold conditions—can be signs of battery aging. If the phone displays a battery-performance degradation alert, Samsung recommends having the battery inspected at a service center. Samsung’s battery replacement guidance explains these symptoms and the service route.

Look for Diagnostics in Samsung Members’ Support or Discover area, or try Settings > Device care > Diagnostics if that option is supported on your phone. Samsung notes that interface paths and available tests vary by model and software version, so a missing menu does not necessarily mean the phone lacks a battery check.
Read the result and label actually shown on your device. Samsung’s US guidance does not define a universal numeric health threshold or guarantee the same result labels on every Z Fold. If you cannot find diagnostics, or battery problems continue, contact Samsung Support or a Samsung service center. Inspection and replacement coverage depend on the applicable warranty terms.
