Use the live event screen and the latest official announcement for dates, eligible channels, objectives, and the reward list, because those details change from one campaign to the next.
Which reward system are you using?
Start by identifying where the reward appears. If the announcement calls it a Twitch Drop, your viewing progress and first claim happen in Twitch Drops Inventory. If it is an event mission, tournament mission, seasonal activity, or similar in-game campaign, its objectives and reward track appear inside Marvel Rivals.

The two systems are not interchangeable. Watching a stream will not complete an in-game mission, and finishing an in-game objective will not make a Twitch Drop appear in Twitch Inventory.
How to claim Marvel Rivals Twitch Drops
1. Open the official Drops page
- Go to the official Marvel Rivals Twitch Drops page.
- Sign in with the Marvel Rivals account and game character that should receive the reward.
- Connect the Twitch account you will use for viewing.
Check the account pairing before watching. The official instructions warn that reconnecting the same Twitch account to another game character does not let that Twitch account claim the same reward again. If you have several characters or accounts, decide which one should receive the items before you begin.

2. Verify the live campaign rules
Open the current Marvel Rivals announcement for the campaign before you watch. Confirm all four of these details:
- the start and end time of the campaign;
- the exact eligible channels or creators, if the announcement limits participation;
- the required viewing time or other completion condition; and
- the reward list and any separate claim deadline.
The general FAQ describes Drops for streams in the Marvel Rivals category with Drops enabled, but a particular campaign can impose narrower channel or date rules. A past announcement is not evidence that the same channels, reward, or deadline applies now. The official news index is available at marvelrivals.com/news.
3. Watch one qualifying stream
During the active window, open a qualifying stream in the Marvel Rivals category. Look for a DropsEnabled tag or a Twitch chat notification indicating that Drops are active, then compare the stream with the campaign announcement. Only viewing that meets the event’s stated eligibility counts.

Each Twitch account can claim a particular Drop reward once.
4. Monitor and claim the Drop in Twitch
- Open Twitch’s Drops Inventory while signed in to the connected account.
- Check the campaign entry and its progress indicator.
- When the requirement is complete, select the claim control for that reward.
- Redeem it before the expiration shown by Twitch.
Completing the viewing requirement is not the same as claiming the item. Leave the campaign in a completed-but-unclaimed state and the Twitch-side expiry can pass before Marvel Rivals receives the delivery signal.
5. Collect the delivery in Marvel Rivals
- Launch Marvel Rivals using the character linked on the Drops page.
- Open the in-game email or mailbox.
- Find the message containing the claimed reward.
- Claim the message promptly.
The official FAQ states: “Check your in-game email. The emails will expire in 30 days, claim it as soon as possible.” That 30-day limit applies to the in-game email delivery, so it is separate from any expiration timer Twitch displays for the campaign.
How to claim rewards from in-game event missions
1. Open the current event interface
From the Marvel Rivals home screen, open the event, mission, or activity panel that is currently advertised. Names and menu placement can change with a season or special campaign, so use the tile or notification shown in your current client rather than a guide made for an earlier version.

Before playing, record the event’s end time and inspect the entire reward track. Look for:
- individual mission objectives and their progress counters;
- the number of objectives needed for each reward;
- any mode, character, match, or account conditions;
- the event’s final redemption deadline; and
- whether a reward is granted automatically or requires a separate claim action.
2. Complete the listed objectives
Play only the modes and activities that the mission describes. A counter that appears unchanged after a match usually means the match did not satisfy a stated condition, the event has ended, or the client has not refreshed yet. Return to the mission panel after a completed match to verify that the counter moved.
Marvel Rivals’ official patch notes show that these missions can award virtual items such as costumes, Nameplates, Sprays, Units, and Chrono Tokens. The type and quantity are campaign-specific; the examples below are historical, not promises about the current event.
3. Return to the event panel and redeem ready rewards
- Open the same event or mission interface after an objective is complete.
- Look for a reward marked ready, complete, or claimable.
- Select the on-screen claim control, if one is present.
- Check the reward track again to make sure the item was added or marked collected.
There is no single universal claim button established for every event. Some activities may grant a reward as soon as the threshold is reached, while others may require an explicit action in the event panel. Follow the instructions displayed by that specific campaign.

Shenloong Tournament and Ignite missions
The June 10, 2026 Season 8.5 notes described the Shenloong Tournament event mission as unlocking the Groot – Ironwood Serpent costume. The same notes described Ignite playoff missions offering an exclusive stage Nameplate, Sprays, Units, and Chrono Tokens. These were dated activities; their objectives and availability should not be copied into a current checklist. See the Season 8.5 patch notes.
Van Dyne Couture
The July 15, 2026 version notes described Van Dyne Couture event missions that awarded Magneto’s Magnetic Vintage costume and related bundle rewards at no charge, alongside separate premium content. That campaign is also historical. Its reward structure does not establish the price, eligibility, or mission requirements of a later event. See the Version 20260716 patch notes.

What is current, and what is not established?
The official news archive showed October 2026 Season 10.5 updates when checked on October 13, 2026. The available announcement index did not establish a complete live reward list, universal mission path, or deadlines for one specific event. Treat the current in-game event panel and its latest official announcement as the authority for those particulars.
Do not infer a current offer from a June or July patch note. Event names, reward tracks, eligible streams, and closing times can all change. If the game client and an old article disagree, use the active campaign display and the newest announcement.
A quick decision tree before you start
Ask where the requirement is measured. A timer that advances while you watch Twitch belongs to the Twitch path. A checklist that advances after matches belongs to the in-game path. If you cannot find either, open the current announcement and look for the campaign’s exact name; similarly named activities can run at the same time but use different reward tracks.
For a Twitch campaign, finish the account connection first, then verify dates and channels, watch one eligible stream, claim the completed item in Twitch Inventory, and finally collect the mailbox message. For a mission campaign, read every qualifier before entering a match, verify progress after each eligible activity, and revisit the event screen to collect a ready reward. This order prevents the most common mistake: doing the right activity on the wrong account or outside the active window.
How to read an event announcement accurately
Separate four pieces of information that are often presented together. The campaign window tells you when progress can be earned. Eligibility tells you which channels, categories, modes, or account conditions count. The reward table tells you what each threshold gives you. The claim instruction tells you whether completion is automatic or requires a button. A post may list a reward without explaining that the item still has to be claimed in Twitch Inventory, so check the linked instructions as well as the headline.
Use the newest official post for the final time zone and closing moment. The news archive can contain older events beside current Season 10.5 updates, and a search result or social post may describe a campaign that has already ended. Save a screenshot of the active reward panel if you need to track several thresholds, but do not treat a screenshot from another player as proof that your account is eligible.
Account, claim, and delivery details that matter
The account link is part of the reward requirement, not just a sign-in convenience. The Marvel Rivals character selected on the official Drops page is the destination for the item. Switching characters after earning progress does not create a second entitlement, and reconnecting the same Twitch account to another character does not allow that account to claim the same reward again.

There are also two separate expiration risks. Twitch can show an expiry for a completed Drop that has not yet been redeemed in Drops Inventory. After you redeem it, Marvel Rivals delivers the item through in-game email, and the official FAQ gives those messages a 30-day life. Claim on both services promptly rather than assuming that an earned notification means the process is finished.
Event-mission rewards may follow a different schedule. The live event may close the claim control at the same time as the mission, or it may display a separate redemption period. Do not assume either behavior from a previous season; the panel’s wording is the controlling instruction.
Do event rewards require a purchase?
The documented reward paths use the game, the official Marvel Rivals website, and Twitch. No physical product or accessory is needed to check progress or claim an item. Historical notes include free mission rewards, including costumes and bundles, while also describing separate premium content. That distinction means a free mission reward should not be treated as proof that every item in the same event is free. Read the individual reward tile and announcement rather than inferring a price from the campaign name.

The progress bar does not move
- Confirm that you are watching during the campaign’s published dates and times.
- Check that the stream is in the Marvel Rivals category.
- Look for the DropsEnabled tag or other Twitch indication that the stream is participating.
- Compare the channel with the campaign announcement if it lists specific eligible channels.
- Stop other Marvel Rivals streams; only one active channel counts at a time.
- Refresh Twitch Drops Inventory and verify that you are signed in to the connected Twitch account.
A stream can be about Marvel Rivals yet still fail the campaign’s eligibility condition. The category, enabled-Drops status, channel list, and event dates all matter.
Twitch shows a completed Drop but there is no claim button
Open Drops Inventory directly rather than relying only on a stream notification. The reward must be claimed in Twitch Inventory before the Twitch-side expiration. If the campaign has ended, check whether Twitch still shows the item as claimable; an expired campaign cannot be restored by launching the game.
The reward was claimed on Twitch but is missing in the game
- Confirm that Twitch shows the reward as claimed, not merely progress complete.
- Launch the Marvel Rivals character that was connected on the official Drops page.
- Open the in-game email and allow time for the delivery to appear.
- Check the message’s age; in-game emails expire after 30 days.
- Verify that the reward has not already been claimed by that Twitch account for another character.
If the item still does not arrive, the official FAQ directs players with viewing or progress problems to Twitch Support or Twitch’s Viewer FAQ. For continuing Drops issues, it identifies Marvel Rivals Support on the game’s official Discord. Use those support routes after checking the account pairing and claim status, because support cannot make an unclaimed Twitch reward appear in a different account’s mailbox.

An objective is not counting
- Read the objective again for mode, win, match, hero, or other qualifiers.
- Return to the event panel after the match to force a progress refresh.
- Check that the event has not reached its end time.
- Make sure you are viewing the active mission set rather than a completed or expired tab.
Historical notes can help identify the kind of item a campaign used to award, but they cannot confirm that a current objective is still active.
A completed mission has no obvious claim control
Inspect the reward tile, the event’s progress track, and any detail or collect prompt. Some events grant the item automatically when the threshold is reached; others expose a claim action only after all conditions are satisfied. Because the reviewed official sources do not define one claim flow for every event, use the instructions rendered by the live event rather than a generic button location.
The event ended before you redeemed the item
Check the event panel and the latest announcement for a separate post-event redemption period. If neither provides one, do not assume the reward can still be recovered. A historical event’s continuing availability is not evidence that a new campaign has the same grace period.
Account and timing checklist
- Use the intended Marvel Rivals character before linking Twitch.
- Use the intended Twitch account for the entire campaign.
- Confirm campaign dates, channel eligibility, and requirements in the latest announcement.
- Watch one eligible channel at a time.
- Claim completed Twitch Drops in Twitch Drops Inventory.
- Open Marvel Rivals in-game email after claiming.
- Collect in-game email rewards within the stated 30-day period.
- For mission events, inspect objectives and the end time before playing.
- Return to the event interface to claim any reward marked ready.
- Keep the official Drops FAQ and current news archive as your reference when a campaign’s instructions differ from an older guide.
Where each question is answered
For the common “where do I check my progress?” question, use Twitch Drops Inventory for Twitch campaigns and the event or mission panel for in-game campaigns. For “where do I claim it?”, claim Twitch rewards in Twitch Drops Inventory, then collect the delivery from Marvel Rivals in-game email; for mission rewards, follow that event’s on-screen claim flow. For “why is it missing?”, verify the Twitch claim status, account pairing, mailbox, and 30-day email limit before contacting support.
